Dr. Charu Kohli's Clinic

First of all I want to mention my husband was advised for a liver MRI. We went to Dr. Charu clinic, there they didn’t have the machine so they outsourced us to some another centre and told us to wait for the vehicle which will take us there. We had to wait so much for the vehicle that we ultimately went by our own conveyance. We were sent to Health Square Hauz Khas which itself is so unhygienic and had poor Management the reception staff was rude there and such bad reviews on Google says if all about the diagnostic centre. There again we had to wait, our appointment was at 2pm and till 6pm we were waiting and my Husband was empty stomach since the morning for the scan. Without wasting more time we went back home. Then called Dr Charu clinic, their staff said we can arrange appointment for the next day. We asked them to give our money back as we do not wanted to have test from such a bad place, to which the doctor said they can adjust 4000 out of 6000 we had paid to them. Rest 2000 is for the cannula which was applied at health square. Does a cannula cost 2000 rupees? Is this behaviour ethical?

In the second instance, I was 6 weeks pregnant and to adjust our money we went to Dr Charu for ultrasound. But due to some reason the foetus heart beat didn’t appear. Dr Charu quickly advised to go for a TVS scan. I immediately called my doctor and she advised to wait for 1 or 2 more weeks and have an ultrasound again. Instead of comforting the patient I think that the doctor there is more interested in making money. Even there was a lack of communication and personal touch among the staff and the patients. Some of the staff was totally confused.

Both time our experience was such disheartening and pathetic. Total waste of our hard earned money.

Won't recommend for the sensitive patients as the Doctor wasn't cooperative rather the wholesome behaviour of the doctor and staff seemed to be blunt and rude!

Health package was provided by the organisation but still no arrangments were made. No place to sit and had to follow up with the staff to get things done. Similar to a government clinic. Was asked to go out and have breakfast for further test. Poor experience.

I am very happy to visit the clinic, the staff is very nice and professional and the cleanliness in the clinic is also very good.

Dr charu is best radiologist & best clinics all provided test and all staff is good i got an x ray done from Mr.aman in charu kohli clinic few days ago and it was an awesome experience he is an excellent person. I am fully satisfied with their services.

Don't even feel like giving a single star, she has the worst experience making patient uncomfortable and cherry on top the most important the reports were wrong and advise never go to her.

The receptionist was very helpful and help as us design a health checkup packages. The enter range of tests was done quickly and we got an results timely.

Thank God for this excellent service provided by dr.charu and her team of technicians. I had no option for my mother who had fallen from the bed and could not be brought down form our home in Sita Ram bazar. The technicians brought up the equipment and gently conducted the x ray and reports were emailed to us very fast. I am very grateful to them for this service.

Good diagnosis My sister is ectopic was diagnoised and treated urgently and her life was saved. Dr.charu is the best.

Our ultrasound was done effeciently and we got the report also all within 20 minutes good service highly recommend.all staff are very good.

I visited this lab few days back for my corporate health checkup and trust me I m the person who is most scared of syringes but the gentleman (a south indian man i dont know the name) who collected my blood sample was so good in his work that I never got to know when was the blood sample got collected and then I realized the he tied the band on my arm so tightly so that he could figure out my viens. Later I went for my x ray followed by eye test entire staff i found was very courteous and helpful. One additional feedback or suggestion I would give is mens restroom does not have WC which I think should be there.

Wonderful Experience! Dr.is very humble and makes you feel very comfortable. Staff is also very supportive. I received all the reports well on time. There was a difference in the prices of the test as compared to the prices outside. So, I can say it's pocket friendly too.

It’s of no use. There’s lot of communication gap within the team. The clinic is unresponsive. Waste of money.time and resources. Don’t book them in emergency situation. What they say and what they actually make you pay is very different and obviously more than the cost they inform you. Not to be trusted. Just a money minting clinic

The clinic is in the basement with extremely narrow & common entry & exit. Stairs are stiff and not accessible for senior citizens or disable peson. Very unsafe in case of any mishap!

Got an ultra sound done here. Very neat, clean and hygienic. State of the art equipment. The doctor and staff were very helpful and polite. Thorough professionals!

Good clinic and very good services provide by Dr. Charu. Yes, renovation work was going on there but they are following all protocol under COVID-19. The rate are very reasonable for all test from other clinic. For corporate companies they have special discounted offer.

The best clinic in the area. They have all facilities available for all of your medical needs. My whole family has been using their services for a long time now. Never had any complaints. The staff is super helpful as well.

The receptionist told she hadn’t informed the doctor.

Had a word with the doctor.at 7: 55.
She says she is too far so I should go home n pee.n come later when I have pressure.
After waiting for half an hour after an appointment, had to leave.running around the city for ultrasound since I had to get it done on specific days.
Doctor calling at 8: 02 that she is there.
Plz come! Great!
She had reached clinic at 8: 02 though 10 min before she was too far to come.wow!

So this was a REVENGE!

Dr Charu Kolhli Clinic is best diagnostic center I had ever seen, Dr. Charu is very professional, she gaves me ample time to understand my concerns and guides me to take appropriate steps needed. This make me very comfortable and feels better. The staff is very professionally trained, cooperative and friendly specially Saraswati & Carol.

They don't even have TOILET in their place and they ask you to go to metro station with container. Nearest metro station isn't near.

Dr Charu s clinic was a total disappointment. Firstly the place is shabby, hot, and manned by totally untrained, incompetent and confused staff. Three girls at the reception not knowing what to do - all asking one another. Unnecessary waiting time even without patients. Horrible clinic.

I have visited the clinic over the years for pathology tests and ultrasound as well. The services have always been upto the mark- Dr Charu has a good team of technicians and herself is a wonderful doctor (on call whenever i needed advise) special thanks to Ms Bhawana for being so humble and coordinating everything so well. Dr. Charu is a thorough professional, very understanding and she took such wonderful care of me, giving me plenty of time to explain my concern without making me feel rushed. Most importantly, she made me feel really comfortable and she also made sure that I got all of my reports on time.
Also, the staff is extremely helpful, courteous and very friendly.
Thanks to the doctor and her staff for making this experience positive and pleasant for me. Wouldn't have to think twice to come here next time.

We have got portable x ray done from them for my mom spine injury. That too at 5-6 times cost of regular x-ray. Surprisingly her report missed out major fracture in T-12 spine bone. Report were also delayed due to her business interest as she asked her employees to visit another client. Because of her report my mom treatment got delayed as we considered it to be a minor injury. We have to took my mom in emergency when things got worse. Later we were only left with an option of spine surgery. If she would have seen x-ray films as a responsible person things could have been much better. They have made medical profession a joke and pure business. They love to put poster "save the saviour" but are they really a saviour? Avoid these greedy people.

I went Dr. Charu Kohli's Clinic for my GE pre-employment medical check-up. As my home is in Delhi, I had to choose it from the list provided by UnitedHealth Care (UHC) India. I was asked to sign a consent form which says that I should allow UHC and any entity on its behalf to share online/store/process/collect/use my personal data including my sensitive data. When I requested the reason for signing it, the staff shouted on me and was impolite. I was treated badly and unprofessionally. They pressurize me to sign the form and threatened that it may delay my company Joining. As per diagnostic is concerned, It is done by immature and untrained staff. They are not willing to answer my questions regarding what are they giving me during my lung test. I am not happy with hygiene also. I will not recommend this clinic to anyone who is conscious and mindful of details. Thanks

I wanted to get a follicle ultrasound done on Sunday, and thus had very limited options as my regular doctor was not available on sunday. So after searching online between gk2 and lajpat, i found 2-3 options. One of them being dr. Charu's. After reading the reviews i was undecided but as i was out of options because a Dr. Jolly in gk1 was all booked on sunday, i had no choice but to go to dr. Charu's.
The receptionist was fast in checking me in and taking the money, saying my receipt would be given to me at the end. I waited for the ultrasound and was shown in the room in another 7-10 minutes. Which was again expected.
Being my third follicle study i knew what to expect and when i told the receptionist (who showed me in the ultrasound room) that i was supposed to have a TVS. She told me the doctor will decide. I was a little taken aback. But thought 'okay, the doctor is thorough. That is why she wants to do both from my tummy as well as internal'. So i lay on the bed and waited. And waited. I waited for atleast 20 minutes while the doctor came in, shouted to someone on the phone about the guard not helping in parking cars, then left and i could hear her from the other room talking to someone else. A patient maybe. Not sure.
I agree emergencies happen. But not in a pathology lab.
And even if it was an emergency shouldn't i be informed that it is going to take time as there is an emergency case? I lay like a fool waiting. While i could hear dr charu going around the clinic.
Waiting is not a problem. But when you lay down to get your ultrasound done, you expect it to be done. If i was to wait, i should have done it outside. Like in normal clinics and hospitals. And that was not it.
Dr. Charu started the ultrasound and was very harsh in her maneuvers. And she did an internal only. As was told by me earlier. She was very abrupt in her movements and jerky. I experienced a lot of pain. And i can say with confidence that this is not how this should have been done. I have been to my share of ultrasounds be it internal or from the tummy. And i have scoured enough clinics and hospitals to know the procedures.
At the end she told me that there was no follicle of growth and i pointed out that in the ultrasound that i had gotten two days ago showed one in growth of about 11mm. She dismissed it as unimportant!
I can come on board with the fact that it might have not grown. But it couldn't have shrunk down! If nothing else there still should have been a follicle of 11mm. If not more. She just didn't want to take the pain to do it properly and with time and patience and a very much needed softer hand.
At the end she just left, leaving me half naked from bottom down as i wasn't even offered a sheet when internal was to be done. And she left the room, leaving me on complete display, without so much as a hesitation that there are male staff just outside the door.
I had read a complaint like this earlier also but dismissed it as just one. But now i am in complete agreement.
There is no one to help the patient with any sort of decency. And no care for the pain in a simple ultrasound that i have being getting done every other day without a ounce of sting. That is saying a lot about the clinic and Dr. Charu herself.
At the end i had to wait for half an hour for a report that read only the pre-acquired measurements from the monitor of the ultrasound machine. And nothing else. I had to continuously ask the staff for my reports and always i got the same reply 'she is writing your report only '. One hell of a pathetic clinic and services.

I request anyone who is in a hurry or in a fix and needs such services on sunday or any day for that matter. Please please look for ANY OTHER OPTION RATHER THAN DR. CHARU'S.

The arrogance that Dr.charu has is off the charts. No work ethic. No technique. No management. No any idea of decency of providing half naked patients with at least a sheet. And definitely no value for even a 100 rupees let alone the 800 she charged me.

Very professional and engaged doctor. My ultra sound showed cancer and thanks to Dr Charu Kohli's intervention my brother and I were immediately told to go for other scans needed. She even gave us her vehicle and attendant for help as I could hardly walk. Due to her help - also with a cancer specialist -my recovery till now has been very good. Her equipment is very modern and the clinic also provides home Xray which was very useful for my aged mother. I also found her attitude very professional and her diagnosis and further recommendations very appropriate. They were very relevant scans and all the relevant blood tests done so I could start my treatment as soon as possible. No unnecessary tests were done. Her aim was to ensure that I recover! I do not have words to describe the experience.

I had a very uncomfortable experience with Dr. Charu Kohli. I visited the clinic for my medical examination, and underwent a lot of tests. While, all of them went off alright, the ECG that I had was a very bad experience.
During the ECG, I was asked to take off my shirt and bra. Being a generally shy person, I requested a sheet to cover myself up, and was outright denied. I requested again as I was highly uncomfortable and lay down with myself covered. The doctor, upon starting the ECG, just snatched away the sheet without being bothered about my comfort, or without asking for my consent.
There were multiple members who came into the room as my examination was in progress. It was highly unappreciated as the door was unlocked, and I was left on display.
Owing to the fact that I had asked the doctor twice to let me cover myself up, she completely ignored my comfort, and sought her own needs.
It is very disappointing to know that even doctors do not regard a patients needs above their own. In an environment that is supposed to be safe and protective, I felt the most unsafe, and self-conscious.
