This Hospital is very good but some no facilities like a hospital. Infrastructure is so good and hospital is very clean and in a good condition in comparison with other govt hospitals but their facilities are very bad. Here is long queue for OPD new registration and there is corruption also in new registration. Some guards and staff members take bribe from the patient for early appointments.

Very Very Bad behaviour of Doctor's in this Hospital specially of Emergency ward No. 5. On 9th Oct I was visited with my father who is senior citizen and having some issues i.e. Cold and Stiffness in body. Emergency Doctor's given injection and ask to go to ward no. 5 where there was some senior doctor was on visit and giving instructions of behaving proper with patient's ad their attendant. Senior doctor asked me abt situation of my father which i have explained him properly after that he given instruction to his junior doctor to attend my father. And Junior Doctor sudden started shouting on me and said tell me fastly what was happened to him we don't have enough time. Junior doctor shouted on me very badly and I was already depressed coz of my father condition. He said you are argued with now I will see who will give treatment to your father and went to his room. After that he referred my father to other hospital which is GTB Hospital / Higher hospital he mentioned. Also he mentioned that attendant was misbehaved with Doctor but the reality was doctor was misbehaved with me and rest two patient was there tey were also listened that. But their Doctor staff was very very bad they don't value the life of any patient they have their own ego. If you want to save your patient's life never visit to hedgewar hospital.far better to go to R. M. L Hospital the staff and doctor's are very cooperative their. Govt should take necessary action against the doctor's of hedgewar hopsital. Just coz it was nearest that's why I visited. But now i will never want to visit this hospital.they don't understand that patient and their attendees are already worried abt the situation Doctor should be calm instead of shouting at patient or their attendees.

This is a general secondary (District) level 200 bedded Hospital. Its main objective is to provide free basic health care services. Standards of services may be influenced by workload & availability of resources at that particular time. Yet it is intended that all users receive courteous & prompt attention.

Amazing experience. Doctor Vikram is a very humble Doctor and cares for the patient very patiently. Neat and clean staff is good and helpful.

Good hospital, doctors are also good, Delhi government hospital at Vishwas Nagar New Delhi. Nearest metro Karkardooma metro. Nearest bus stop Karkardooma and A block Jagatpuri and many more. It is On the opposite side of central pollution control board. Road outside is busy avoid coming by personnel vehicle unless emergency is their. Parking space inside is very limited. Only local street food is available near the hospital.

It is an inferior hospital. The staff mistreats patients and is quite unpleasant.but always willing to accept a bribe. Due to their commission, always write ultrasound from the outside. Even if any lady is pregnant.

The gynecology staff will bark you like "yaha kya marne aai ho". And refuse to be admitted there, with the intention of moving you to another hospital. If any pregnant lady have some issue in midnight and somehow reach at hospital.

The staff will be sleeping and guard will say she goes somewhere and come in after 3 to 5 minutes. And even they will not come before 1/2 an hour. If some how someone came they will speak to patient very rudely.

One of the worst experience we had, We lost our mom because of their careless treatment

The Doctors are always ready to look to there patient. Near Vishwas Nagar Ext, in East Delhi.

Doctors don't care about patients condition. Third time I lost my baby due to their negligence. My wife went there when she feels labour pain and they just given BP table and sent her back.

As i feel staff behaviour and Doctor behaviour is good.
I was visited for Dog Bite Injection.
Injection is avaliable at free of cost.

Today i visited in emergency.but when i interact labour room reception.a lady who sit on a reception of maternity labour room.behaviour is very poor.she doesn't know.how to talk with patients.

Bahut bad conditions hai or kowi bhi hospital staff sahi medicine nahi milta or sahi ilaj nahi hota hai or doctor Missbehaver krte hai or mera test mai kuch nahi aa raha hai but mai ne pravate hospital se test krya to typhoid aa gya. Phir mai pravate hospital gya or mai three days mai thik ho gya.

Even if you are beggar and don’t have money just don’t go there
Take a loan for your treatment but just don’t go there

''Gynologist department''. The behaviour of staff and doctors are too rude even if you ask them something politely. For the past few months I have been visited the hospital as per the check up schedule. Now this is my last month of pregnancy and suddenly the doctor said your blood pressure is high and your blood group is rare and not available here so you should refer to GTB hospital. I requested them that I will arrange the blood group and my whole treatment is done here from the beginning still the behaviour of doctors is rude and very normal as if nothing happened. Now what I do?

They don't have proper management for OPD check ups every Tuesday and Friday doctors changes. Why don't they provide particular doctor for their particular room. Every lady had checked by multiple doctors every Tuesday and Friday. This creates hassle in patient history. If one doctor suggested some test in next weekday other doctor is not interested to look over the previous history test.

Its been a long time for me going to the hospital the doctors are saying me there will be surgery bt it's been like that for a long time they were said to there r no equipment available for us for surgery and after one year later I have complained cm helpline no nd then she is saying doctor (who r the incharge of surgery department) called me for Monday next week for check up
Further the doctor said there is no requirement of surgery in case of brest axillia they said it's treated by medicine even I was in pain my half body part not doing properly
And also lack of medicine ointment
They have attitude as becz they r working in govt hospital nd salaried person I m not satisfied for that bcz I have checkedup in many hospitals and they were saying immediately req for surgery nd surgen of hedgewar issaid to no req of surgery I have got in my mind for surgery it's mean I m out of mind
all that r happened bcz our system is greedy for money

When I was in 11th Standard, I got fungal Infactions, I went there for treatment, which was unsuccessful even after spending a long time.
I did visit Darmatologist Department for my Skin Problems.

What's good about the Hospital?

Medicine is free.
Environment is well.
Infrastructure is good.
Cleaning is good.

What's not good about the Hospital?

Time Consuming.
A lots of people.
Unmanaged System.
Keep standing in multiple lines again and again.

What's disappointed about it? In my Experience: -

The Doctors behaviour, you can think over, I was a child, 11th standard student, I was polite with them, and used to "Greet first" before telling my situation.
They behaved rudely with no reasons, Like: - I have done blunder.
This was the most difficult time of my life, as Emotionally.
I was more sad about their behaviour than my fungal Infactions.

Later on, With an unsuccessful treatment, I switched to the Private Doctor, I found "A Dermatologist Lady Doctor". She treated me in a humble way, as a child should be treated, she asked my for all backgrounds of Medicine, also give me the emotional support, that "Don't worry, you would be fine with some time dear, I'm here" and give me the good treatment, Continue with Some days, I got well recoverd.
I'm Greatful to her.

Medicines are available well but Dr. 's behavior is rude like everyone is working for free.

The process of this hospital is to slow and dr are rudely behave with peoples i saw who so exray and give reports of exray they Don't treat gently all staf who work in exray room all are rude & tlk in such a cheapest way.

This hospital is gov that's why anybody can't take any action. I didn't recommend this hospital to anyone in my known.

The duty of a Gynco Doctor is Tuesday and Fridays
I went to emergency ward emergency for treatment of too much backache and the doctor was misbehaving and treating animals.all patients are suffering from the same condition. The doctor is very irresponsible and they don't know what is the way of talking with patients. It is a very serious matter for me or my wife and all other patients.

Doctors in emergency and police staff are very very cooperative. They are seriously not less than God for those who are facing emergency. God bless them always and take care of victims who are suffering from emergencies

No management. Every person in the staff even the doctors behaved rudely. I don't recommend anyone to go there. They just want to sit and misbehave with patients.

Poor facilities. No seating arrangement. No fans in the corridors outside Room no 39 and alike Pathetic patient care.

Long queue for medicine because the person assigned to distribute medicine is incompetent and not serious about his duty. He just doesn't care that patients are standing for so long in such harsh weather and also they do not provide complete medicines ;if u have been prescribed for 7 days then you will get medicine for 2 days only, maybe they are selling extras.arvind kejriwal who is so proud of his hospital facilities should also look into its working that people are doing their jobs or not.it is a very serious issue he should counter

Very comfortable hospital, i went there for kovid 19 vaccination, very well mannared & decent staff, very well behaved people, rare in govt.hospitals, i got my both doses in this hospital & have very good experience, asha sharma, the lady, who gave me the vaccine injections, is very nice doctor, i m really thankful.

Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan is situated in the area of Karkardooma Shahdra Delhi very near to Swami Dayanand Marg opp. KRISHNA Nagar Metro Station. A very big allopathic hospital in this area. All Departments of a hospital are functioning here. Blood Bank facilities are also available in this hospital.

Today my wife came here for the first time, what was the name of that lady doctor, she was in room number 13 but her behavior was very bad,
That lady didn't even have the guts to talk, I haven't seen such a bad behavior till date, that's is the only one reason doesn't go to the government hospital
Take strict action against such hospital

I was admitted in the emergency under Dr. Nadeem he is excellent in his job and he treated very well and I felt in safe hand and I recover very earlier he took very good care of everybody in emergency at that time

Dr hedgewar arogya sansthan hostipal is ver very waste delhi govt hospital doctor and security guard behaviour very very rude and miss behaviour in the ward when doctor come and go no idea when asked they said doctor everyday come in the morning, when we ask our patient reports they said ask to doctor we don't know in the my experience this is very very waste hospital

Less crowded as compared to other government hospital. They are strictly doing covid test before entering the hospital.premises.things are getting done in order. Doctors are available. Hospital was clean during our visit. We visited in Emergency hours. Toilets are deep dirty.

Really worst staff. I went into room no. 301 so there was a lady doctor. As I entre in the room she began to shouting on me and was behaving with me like I m not a human being. I request pleas do fire her so that she can realize what she does.

New Building, but the same old problems like typical govt.hospitals. Rubbish doctors except senior doctors. Just an emergency hospital, not more than that.

Most of the reviews are fake, positive reviews given by staff, my wife is pregnant and she is visiting every month and the behaviour of gaini was very rude and misbehaving with pateint like animals, but they want sallery of govt which is coming from us we r tax payer

Nice hospital neat and clean area nearby karkarduma metro station.no parking charges, hospital doctors are cool and gentleman one star not because of its report delivery staff in room no 109 her behaviour wasn't good neither towards its patients nor guardians.

Very rude behavior and irresponsible doctors are working in delhi government Hedgewar hospital karkardooma delhi.

Doctor reacted very aggressive and rude in room no 102 and saying you people only have to come hear and cough hear.

He don't even listen the patients problem and said get out from the door and stand there and my face was completely cover with the face mask and I was not coughing there he just ask me very rudely what is the problem and I reply that I am facing the cough issue.

And then he reacted very bad this was very embarrassing.

Why these type of doctors are hired by the senior authority of hospital and why they have not guided them that how to treat the patients.

Which is very disappointed and not acceptable at all delhi government should take the action against all these kind of doctors and hospital staff.

They don't respect to the people are coming for the treatment in the hospital not even listen there proper problem what they are facing due to health issues.

This is really sad people are coming to hospital because they are in trouble because of there health issue and doctors are not treating them respectfully and just doing a formality of there job and misbehaving with them.

Better than other govt hospitals, but not for critical treatment like. It has only 5 ICU beds and 1 ventilator.

I thought government doctors are good but after visiting this hospital I realised that government doctors are the worst doctors specifically ENT DEPT. In specialist se achhe chhote chhote clinic mai doctor achhe hote h.

People says that the government doctors are good but after visiting this hospital I realised that government doctors are the worst doctors I have ever seen specially the skin doctor she is a lady but still don't have any kind of manner to talk with someone she treats her patients like untouchables I should say that if these kind of doctor remain in such post to treat someone then poor people will not be able to rigid of there disease. Kindly remove that doctor from her post.

Services are good but in the maternity unit doctors are very careless to wach their petient even they are in very strong pain but they never looked carefully.

Very worst service of this hospital, doctor & medicine shopkeeper all are very roughly behave to patient. My father is 86 years old and when I am came here for purchase medicine which are preferred by doctor of SMS hospital with valid slip then he say that "yahan ka slip hoga tabhi hum medicine provide kar sakte hain or hum patient Ko hi lagayenge" jabki mere father SMS hospital mein ICU mein admit hain in gadhon ke liye main ICU se nikalkar yahan laaun

The facilities are good, but the staff is too rude. The doctors treat their patients with apathy, especially the skin care doctors. They usually let amateur doctors handle some critical cases, which is a pity and pretty dangerous. There's always a lack of communication between the seniors and juniors. It was sad to see how the pregnant ladies were being treated as hamsters in the Maternity ward. Won't recommend this place for emergency cases.

Here people including doctors, guards don't have manners how to talk and they treat other people like animals.

Very good Government Hospital (200 beded) for all patients. It has a big OPD area for general patients. Indoor patients Department facilities to serious or needy patients. It has a Lot of parking area inside its premises. The Building has good architecture.

Doctors are very cooperative and experienced. Some difficulties may be occured during OPD timings. Lot of work patients load is available here.

Very easy to notice in any type of traffic and very convenient to reach here by own conveyance or public transport like buses or Metro. Nearest metro station is Karkardooma Court and Krishna Nagar.

This hospital has got huge capacity to serve the public but because of some little factors it is not possible.

Firstly, the Skin Department is the most hated corner of all, the female doctors here need to understand that patients visiting them are not from upper class, they belong to lower or lower middle and upper middle class.
The doctors behavior will make or break their trust on the government institutions/Doctors,
I know there are some patients who can be troublesome but after excluding them, the rest deserve good and caring hand of doctor.
Secondly, there should be a female and a male person 24*7 on the help desk for easy access of the patients to the rules and regulations of the hospital.
Third, blood sample collection department can get a bit better, as the crowd emerges in days of dengue or a flu, there comes long lines and short tempered patients.
Fourth, every floor should have at the very least hygienic water points.

Worst hospital Dr Hedgewar Hsptl. Dr Monika Don't have manners how to talk with patients. She didn't even seen the date of Sugar reports which is 15days old & started shouting We dnt have insulin facility we are not able to treat u. U are 36wk prgnt. We will not treat you in this situation. If you are not going to operate me than why are you sitting in this hospital. I don't understand why these Dr are here. They will not understand the patient's Situation. They treat very badly ND conversation was like they were sitting in fish market. They used cheap words.

Doctors doing Tooth RCT without pain relief injection.i faced lots of pain when i go there.my hand and legs was shaking during RCT.

Good 200 Bedded hospital providing free yes absolutely free Services to poorest of the poor round the clock. Gynaecology Medicine Surgery Trauma orthopedics pediatrics 24 emergency. Free medication food to one and all. Run by Delhi Government. Ultrasound services are poor. Boon for people of surrounding locality

We are going to have a baby, I have been up to date with the hospital OPD doctor every month so far, the delivery day is soon and I hope the labour room staff perform their task properly and with much humanity because I know people are mistreated during these times but let's not dwell on negative thinking.
I will post the update as the things turn out.

OK so now I am updating my review after 2 months of delivery.
So I want to add that everything went smoothly
The baby is healthy
I want to thank the resident doctors who were very polite and objective
Special thanks goes to the management of the hospital which I think is the best among other such hospitals in Delhi I bet that.
And the housekeeping crew mainly the cleaning ladies of floor 1 and 2 there is a lot that depends on these people please do not argue with the cleaning staff, they are doing their job.

Dr. Hedgewar hospital is a govt hospital that offers free medical facilities to all the patients. Doctors are well qualified and provide genuine consultations but due to ample crowd everyday, process becomes slow and your may end up waiting in the queue for long time.

Separate queue for senior citizens & physically challenged people is a boon for elderly people.

They also have a special Counter to provide free medicines which are prescribed by their doctors.
