Dr. J D Mukherji

I am so full of gratefulness that I often become extremely emotional thinking of Dr. Mukherji. I don't know how things would have been without him. I had been desperately running from one doctor to another after a fall, complaining about severe upper back pain which four doctors before him couldn't or rather didn't bother to diagnose. I am still in the process of recovery but just the fact that Dr. Mukherji was not only the first to point it out and treat but that he was extremely compassionate and empathetic, and believe me, I can't put it into words how much that feeling of finally being understood meant to me!

My sister in law visited him last week at Max Hospital Saket with the complaints of migraine, cervical pain and sinusitis in emergency. He advised for hospitalization. Over 1 lakh rupees spend in 2-3 days. MRI brain and lumbar puncture (most probably not required) was performed. CT PNS and MRI Cervical spine (most probably most required) were not performed.
After 3 days from the date of discharge the patient had developed headache again then also he advised hospitalization even without clinically evaluating the patient and charging his fees.
She was suffering from lower pressure headche due to CSF leak (developed after Lumber puncture test performed by inexperienced junior doctors of Dr Mukherjee's team) as diagnosed by Dr C S Agarwal, SGRH.

If you are thinking of visiting this doctor just drop your plan. We visited dr mukherji for neurological problem just by looking at the thickness of previous report he just said one thing this case need to be evaluated and sent us to dr sanjiv sharma who is associate consultant. Hardly given us a minute. Didn't even bothered to listen to the problem. Don't think if you are paying a 2000rs opd fees you will get to be seen by dr.mukherji he might send you some associate consultant whose fees is just 700-800. And at last just get admit when the doctor doesn't even know my problem what is he going to do after admitting.

Dr. Mukherji is an excellent and experienced doctor. Before him I visited around 8 doctor. My father had an illness for years. But no doctor was able to solve it. But when I took me to Dr. Mukherjee, my father was fine with his medicines within a month. He is a very good doctor.

Not satisfied with his treatment, his suggestions.wrongly explained the report in front of a patient which gave a negative result to the patient and her family.

Dr. Mukherji is an excellent and experienced doctor. Before him I visited around four doctor. I didn't get relief though they diagnosed the disease correctly. Then I visited Dr. MuKherji and got relieved in just one month. A good doctor, he is down to earth, Treat you with confidence and make you believed that you will be cured, though my disease is not curable but he made me belief that I will be cured and ok for whole of my life. Now I'm fine and living my life. Confidently, though I'm on regular medication, I will recommend all my family members and friends to visit him for any kind of neurological disorder. Very nice hats off to him.
