He along with Doctor Debnath, Doctor Satish, Doctor Neeraj (all from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi) are the worst doctors I have seen in my entire life.
He did brain surgery (twice) of my 8 months old son which was not required (have taken independent opinions from other experienced neurosurgeons from India) and on top of that they put a bone cement inside his brain citing the reason that his own bone was brittle so it broke (FYI: every child will have a brittle bone since birth and will take few years to be strong). He emotionally manipulated us to take my acceptance on the first surgery which was not all needed (I cry with so much anger and pain that my innocent son has to go through- wish I could go back in time and take right decision for my son)
I have spent a fortune on these surgeries.
I wish I could come in front of the media to narrate my entire experience with both the Apollo Hospitals (Noida and New Delhi).
Please don't take your patient to these doctors (alias goons) else you might end up with a similar experience.

Dr Sudheer Tyagi performed my Father's surgery and I'm really thankful to him, because he followed all the way through recovery. He is of course one of the best neurosurgeons in India, but more than that he is so empathetic towards his patients. Grateful ️

Horrible experience. Be prepared to wait for 3-4 hours even if you are the first one to register at OPD. Sequencing of patients in OPD is run like a monkey business by the PA who prioritises patients on whims and fancies, with the typical response ‘thoda time aur lagega’ even if you have waited for >3 hours. If you are here to discus’s reports (paid in last consultation) be prepared for worse. And appointment booking by phone is a sham. Will post about experience with doctor once I meet him. Till then waiting for my turn.

My mother was critically ill, and was bed-ridden. She was unable to recall any past events, what she had as food today, even she stop recognizing us, she was unable to walk, unable to seat, unable to swallow food, and inconsistent urination and was on diaper.visited many hospitals like, AIIMS, Rana Patir Fortis Gurugram, Apollo and AMRI Bhubaneswar, BHU varanasi, KIMS etc. Nowhere i got good response and confidence. Finally miracle happened someone suggested the name of Dr sudheer Tyagi sir at Apollo Delhi. He is very busy doctor and requires Prior appointment. Since condition of mother was very critical we directly visited him. He directly called us in his chamber, gone through all previous MRIs, and other reports. His words were so soothing our all problems gone just talking to him. He is great listener, compassionate, kind-hearted human being. Since the Covid 2nd wave lockdown has been just removed there was so much rush at Hospital, No bed available, but due to this great man initiative we got bed and did the VP shunting the very next day. Within 03 days of Surgery, Mother started walking, her problems resolved and was back to normal.

He is co-operative post surgery also, Picks my call even on Sunday and helps a lot. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude towards him.

I was diagnosed with Brain tumour and consulted Dr Tyagi for it in June this year. The tumour was huge - tennis ball size. There was a risk of tumour being unable to remove in 1 surgery itself considering its size but thanks to Dr Tyagi, the surgery was a success. It was eliminated in one go only. He is truly a dedicated professional. Given his intense and stressful nature of job, he is a no non sense guy and yet has answers to all your queries. Hats off to him and I applaud him for his skill set. Heartfelt thanks to him for giving me and my family an extended life.

Decent surgeon, but overrated. You would expect him to be more aware and prepared for eventualities. But just seemed to go through a SoP. Overall found him to be just like any other neuro surgeon. Nothing special to command such hefty premium.
