NEVER go to Medanta Hospital for Eye related issues as long as (Doctor) Sudipto Pakrasi is there; and NEVER EVER go for EDOF lenses:

In the name of MEDANTA, I went for Cataract Surgery with Dr. Sudipto Pakrasi. He spoiled my case after charging around INR300,000 for the EDOF lenses and FEMTO Laser surgery.

Post-surgery, I'm having the following issues (even after one year) :
a. Distant vision not clear
b. Near vision not clear
c. Seeing excessive halos
d. Seeing double images / shadows
e. Was having Pain and persistent heaviness in my eyes for 4 MONTHS
f. Not able to see the Green Arrow of Traffic Light

Some doctors can have 39 years of "wrong and irresponsible" experience.

He is an EXTREMELY RUDE, ARROGANT, CASUAL, MONEY-MINDED, MISBEHAVED, and NARCISSISTIC doctor ever.

He is OLD ENOUGH to retire now so that NO other patient suffers.

NEVER GO FOR EDOF LENSES. This doctor is only making fool of others.

PS: My cataract was in the very initial stage, and I was not having any major issues.

Dr. Pakrasi is an ophthalmologist par excellence and his expertise in the field surpasses most.

My father was suffering from impaired/blurry vision and since me and my family had heard a lot about Dr. Pakrasi, we decided to fix an appointment with him.

After a thorough and proper check up a very accurate diagnosis was given and my father was recommended to undergo a cataract surgery. The surgery was performed using state-of-the-art machinery and equipment and with extreme precision by Dr. Pakrasi. The recovery process was closely and regularly monitored with weekly check ups and the recovery was complete in no time and with no problems at all.

Our experience with him has been fabulous and his ethics and professionalism are commendable.

I would highly recommend Dr. Pakrasi to everyone.

Only ever had the best experiences with Dr. Pakrasi. He is by far the best eye doctor to ever offer me consultation. He has looked after my eyes since I was a child. And has always treated with the utmost professionalism and diligence. He is extremely empathetic and goes the extra mile for his patients.
