I was suffering from severe lower back pain and I could just not move. On a recommendation, I went to Moolchand hospital and consulted Dr Vishal Nigam. A very very competent doctor with great clinical sense and spot diagnosis. I was in a terrible state and was not even in a position to get examined. Within 5 minutes, he could gauge the problem even though I could not co operate in examination. Was a great relief just visiting Moolchand hospital and consulting Dr Vishal Nigam. In january I met an accident which resulted in multiple fractures in my body. I had 3 fractures in my back, 1 in pelvic bone and 1 in ankle. I was taken to moolchand hospital for my treatment where I met two doctors Dr. U. K. Sadhoo and Dr. Vishal Nigam. Both of them are very down to earth and helpful. I underwent a surgery which was successful. There was a time I couldn't even move a bit, but now I can walk easily. Couldn't have asked for anything else, I would be forever grateful to them for life.

I would say Dr Vishal Nigam from prestigious Moolchand Hospital is not only the best Orthopedics & Spine surgeon in Delhi, NCR and Noida, but, the best in India. My entire family, relatives and friends whosever has visited him has always come out motivated, smiling and free from pain. He always has very sharp diagnosis and then a very effective treatment regime and has great insight of medicines and his capable and blessed hands for surgery. The first thing you notice and feel about this gentleman doctor is his calm and gentle demeanor. And as one recounts the medical issue related to one's orthopaedic problem, you notice how he listens to you intently, interrupting only rarely. Once you have finished explaining your problem, he goes on to ask any question he may have, to completely understand your problem. Then he examines your problem area and once done, sits down to explain to you in detail what he thinks is the problem and he draws illustrations to better make the patient understand it. Then he proceeds to explain how he is going to treat the problem and unlike so many in his profession one has come across, he never advises too many tests, etc. He puts you at ease and will never scare the patient with scary diagnosis and even scarier treatment plan. You get the feeling that you have come to the right doctor and feel safe.
This is the kind of reassurance a patient is really looking for from a doctor.
I have seen so many doctors, one of them even wanted to get me admitted immediately and perform angiography plus angioplasty (because he was sure there would be many blocks in my heart!) and called his juniors to escort me to the admission desk and help with the same! This is a senior consultant of one of the premier heart hospitals in the capital that I am talking about. I was even told that if the process was not carried out immediately, I might die! This was some 20 years back and here I am today still alive and kicking!
