Dr. Gurinder Bedi in our opinion is one of the most ethical orthopaedic surgeons that we know of in Delhi. He takes into account the age and overall health of the patient before he recommends any surgical intervention. This is what we have experienced several times in the case of my elderly mother and also in the case of my husband. My late father, also a Doctor always used to say that a good orthopaedic surgeon will never look at the X Ray or MRI report. Rather he always examines first, then has a look at the reports to corroborate his findings, which is exactly the case with Dr. Bedi. Dr Bedi conducted hip replacement surgery on my mother-in-law, 86 years+ and with a host of age-related health problems. Hey. I like this doctor cause he knows what's going on. He explains the procedure in depth. I have been to him thrice in the last two years and have always felt it is much better than going to Google baba or trying everyone's favourite remedy, "rest" - he has treated other members of family and is patient and thorough with his work without being time consuming. If he tells you to do an MRI, do it. Don't consult 3 doctors and then get one. He is also worth the 40 minute wait.
