Foreigners Regional Registration Office

They don’t even know the definition of Apostille and they are rude. No actual service to persons of foreign countries. They are just playing Office-Office.

Shockingly slow system in place for a country with such a huge population.

We've applied exit permit in August (2 months ago), still we don't get the link. Those who are after us they got the link/exit permit within 1,2 week.

I have never been treated so badly in my entire life. The people who work there should be trained to guide foreigners.

Friendly staff but lacking experience in assessing an application in whole. Every visit they said documents submitted in support of my application were in order until the next time round and they kept asking for more documents. This went on for ten months. Eventually I gave up.

The person on the reception desk was extremely rude and racist. This is the representative of India and he is portraying this kind of behaviour. Shouting at people and not properly doing their work. This is that person. Hope someone takes see this severely and take some action.

Good place.arranged office. But staffs r rough with clients especially with international client. On line processing is slow n irritating. Those who have no knowledge with internet or have no bank account with on- line facility surely suffered. One more thing applicant's should use own e- mail id instead of media. That will be more helpful to reduce suffering of applicant

We are a family of 4 NRI US citizens. 3 of us have PIO but had to travel to India since mom was in ICU, before the 4th PIO (for my wife) was ready. US had no issue allowing her to come to India on the old Indian passport, however we were not allowed to board our US flight using her US passport. Now over the weekend we are stuck in Delhi which is not our home town and hoping to make a quick appointment at FRRA tomorrow, Monday morning to exit the country the right way. Not to mention the tickets for 4 passengers (2 kids, 2 adults) are a complete loss but at this point we want is to get back home asap. We understand that this is our mistake but just want this nightmare to end. Hope FRRA can help my family quickly tomorrow

I went there with one of my Korean person for requesting exit permit application process. After waiting for sometime in queue we get inside into the office and met an old man in front desk. But the man did not behaved properly. He did not listen to our problems and queries and asked us to leave rudely without knowing the reason why we were there. Lastly we left the place with no solution.

Very bad department. I feel shame to be Indian. The harass me continuously 3 months to get exit permit for my daughter.no communications.no reply Onyario email or phone.make over 5trips fro sirsa to Delhi almost 275 kilometres one side.get the permit 3-4 hours before flight.and also charge me 60000 rupees for exit entry. Beware of these robbers

All the Govert institutions of India ve excellent relationship with foreign nationals living in India, that is why India has a high position on international scale.

They were very polite. SO WAS I. They are all over loaded with files like many other bureaucracy. They have a tough job to do.
I would like them to do it faster! Such is life. Hurry Hurry and than wait!

Working too long time from begining of visa period now already 6 months, my visa is already expired still not finished. Oh my Buddha. May Buddha save good person. I don't want to be illegal.

I am a foreigner, the documents have been paid, how do I print the Exist Permit? How many days do I have to wait for it to be sent to my email? I bought a plane ticket My money is limited, I have to go back to my country.

Well the important thing is that those who works there are so good and calm people they respect and guide U very good. BUT there is a boy in door next to FRRO he is not polite behaves very bad and harsh talking.

The two men that stand on the front were very rude and unhelpful. They told me that they would call me in, but that didn't happen. I explained to them that I am pregnant and it is urgent that I speak with someone to get an exit permit. They kept on saying not possible, you do not have application (even though they didn't take any of my details, so they had no way of knowing that). I asked to go in, and they told me the office was closed now, that also wasn't true. Finally after proving that I had 3 applications in the system from over a month ago, one of them let's me through. The workers inside the office are alot more helpful and kind. The 2 guys on the front were very frustrating to deal with.they caused me alot of stress and didn't care for my situation atall. Luckily I had the contact numbers of all relevant police departments linked to my applications so I was able to get things moving even from being stuck outside the office for 2 hours.

Worst office. The staff doesn't value anyone's time. Had to visit 7 times to extend my husband's visa only to recieve an exit visa after 1.5 months. Tht also worked when we reported the case to the PMO at the PMO website and complained, only way to handle them.

It was quiet cool for me to experience and live in a new but not only new beautiful as it has amazing gardening when coming by all entrance of this hospital I really like it, happy to associate with people in different language as I have to know some words even it so hard for me but I appreciated all members of this hospital are friendly kind on patients as united as one
My problem was food in such a way that sometimes where fine and sometimes I have to force myself to eat because I thought my mind to accept all comes for me to survive.

Very Useless office. Applications remain pending for months unless you bribe an officer for fast processing. Extremely inefficient.

Worst sense of service, shame on how it works as a Government office. Kindly try to find some good new staffs who can handle it well. So poor that you hang up the phone while making the conversation.

From someone that had COVID and needed a visa extension.
1 month after applying and being told to kindly wait on the frro app, in every call and email reply, the Delhi office told told me to go back to Goa (where I originally applied) to get and extension or that I would not be able to fly.
This is not true, I went to the airport, paid 10000 and was able to fly home (a lot of money, but cheaper than going back to Goa and buy another flight home).
I hope this helps anyone struggling and receiving wrong info from the unhelpful, and misinformed staff from FRRO.

You'll find no body who understands proper English In a administration where they provide service for Foreigners!

I had been trying to get exit permit for an old Kenyan woman. We submitted application on 17 dec 2022,2 months have passed and they haven’t completed the procedure. Nobody talks to you, when called upon

Jaipur FRRO office should be closed. They never have answers and refer you to Delhi. The ladies who work there are not friendly and have their children there playing on the floor and screaming. It is really sad for us foreigners to be treated like that. When you go to Delhi it's a different story. They are wonderful.and direct you with kindness and knowledge. Jaipur once told me the wrong thing to extend my visa and if I would have listened I would have lost my remaining visa. Delhi said they miss directed me and luckily I drove all the way there to straighten it out. Government should fire these people in jaipur

Very neat and clean place. But for the service you have to wait in line. And the pandemic situation make it more difficult but the authority always try their best to give the best service.
