Earlier Heard alot about this place.so went for Dinner. Location is malcha marg top VIP area. The complex where Fujiya situated is very beautiful. But when we entered the restaurant it was very small and very congested.tables were so closed that everybody know who’s talking what and eating what. But restaurant was jammed packed so we thought food must be extra ordinary but in my opinion it was just okay type and over hyped. I’ll prefer sSikkim house over Fujiya.we ordered chicken talumein soup5/5, steam chicken momos2/5, veg fied rice 3/5, veg hakka noodles 5/5, and chilli chicken 3/5. Food was no doubt expensive here maybe because of location.
Our experience was not good as the food served was cold except for the soup and dish had to be reheated the chicken honey had red color which is not advisable to eat
Good food, nice location. Food is a bit expensive but not restaurant in a shopping mall. Sushi was good and was made like sushi which we were sensitive about. The Chinese is good as well and reminded us some old and gold Chinese restaurant in Kolkata. Nice ambiance, holding the authenticity and charm of a Asian restaurant in India. Definitely willing to visit again. They are charging service
Authentic far-Eastern fare, though seating is a bit cramped. Getting a parking space is difficult. Serving staff is helpful, though not very knowledgeable.nice surroundings.
Fujiya Restaurant is located iny Malcha Marg, along with a few other restaurants nearby
Inside the restaurant, one gets claustrophobic, because too many tables have been squeezed into a tiny space.
Inside Fujiya, one gets the cramped feeling of being on a crowded railway platform, with high decibel levels. One can't have a quiet conversation here, or help overhear the guests on the adjacent tables!
The service is so-so. The menu offers good choices, but the food is just about OK.
All in all, if you are looking for a restaurant with a quiet and serene ambience, then Fujiya is definitely NOT the place to dine in.
Had ordered online. Very ordinary food esp the Vegetarian bit. Spring RollS were Soggy and the Tofu Eggplant waS a Disaster. The restaurant haS to pull itS SockS to reach their original StatuS. Doc T
Food was good but the preparation time was atrocious! We visited this facility after a long time, were glad to learn that food quality was comparable. Genuinely feel that overall preparation time could be improved.
We had Chinese food last week and it was really worst. We ordered chili garlic hakka noodles and the taste was like a roadside worthless noodles. The chicken talumen soup was also not great as the chicken pieces were not properly boiled. I will never recommend this resturant as the food was not good as it used to be earlier.
Good Chinese food snacks everything I always go there tasty food nice place with family, friends veg.manchow soup, fried wonton, veg.noodlea, veg.with black bean
Best King Prawns I Had In Delhi And Probably After A Long Time Sonething Different. I Am No Expert On Japanese Food But For Sure I Can Tell That Everything Was Just Amazing! The Food The Service The Ambience It Was On Point And Surely Worth My Money. You Definitely Have To Try This Place If You Are Up For Something Delicious And New
Its a overhiped place. I visited there on sunday there was a waiting of 1 hour but eventually we got a table after 45 minutes but there was a lot of mess regarding the availability of tables. I ordered manchow soup it was very average in taste, then i ordered golden fried prawns which were good, then in last in main course i odered hakka noodles and chicken chilly gravy. Which were below average. You can have a better taste in any of the chinese kitchen. The 2 stars given by me are only for the wibe and service. Taste is not good at all.
Amazing place for fine dining. Must go for sumptuous Chinese & Japanese food. The place presents a bright, colourful & pleasing ambiance. A little expensive. But A MUST GO PLACE PLACE FOR FOODIES.
I have visited Fujiya since I was a child. It never disappointed me then and now even forty years later, it delivers complete satisfaction from dimsums, sushi and everything in between.
Poor food, highly unexpected for a supposedly 'premium' restaurant. Stale and reheated food served, especially in present Covid times, where extra caution and care is expected. Was forced to return. Such deplorable behaviour cannot be condoned.
Quality of food has been has become very pathetic. It was crowded.no social distance was maintained.even service was poor.asked thrice for water then it was served. It was my one of the favourite restaurant.
Comfortable spot and good for 2-4 guests. The staff is friendly & the food delicious. Extensive variety of options available on the menu while you enjoy a chilled beer.
Supposedly, one of the oldest restaurants serving Indo-Chinese cuisine. I visited this place recently with my friend. He mentioned that his dad and mom used to go there on dates. Located in the posh Chanakyapuri, this place seems to attract elite crowd.
Classic ambiance adds to the aura of this place. Neatly done interiors are simple, elegant and charming. Delicious food.
Fujiya should remove authentic from their description! Being a fan of Japanese food, I'll never recommend Fujiya to anybody! Plus, japanese food is priced way higher as compared to any other authentic Japanese restaurants in the city!
I first visited this place with my parents when my 10th results came out and I scored amazingly well. (just boasting to satisfy my ego: P) Ignore that though but yes coming back to the story, I was there with my parents having much joy on their face and the food tasted amazing, especially the soup and the sushi. Much to my surprise this time, it tasted pathetic. The only saviours were the wantons and the soup.
Best Japanese Soup and Singapuri noodles you can't find other then here. Best Chinese food in town. Actually short of words to describe the taste and experience I have.
The quality of both food and staff has gone down big time. It is not what it used to be. There used to be a WOW factor eariler, but now it didn't taste like fujiya anymore. I don't think I would ever like to come back to Fujiya after todays experience. The Manchow soup and the noodles were pathetic. I would NOT recommend Fujiya to anyone.
Food and service was v good and also the jasmine tea we had but it is cramped and the upholstery, carpet badly needs a change. Hope the owners pay heed. It is in an upmarket area with upmarket prices and this is the least that can be done.
Heard a lot about Fujiya. The place is in Malcha Marg Market. The restaurant is congested as I understand the rent must be exorbitant. Food is very Indian Chinese van style and prices are on a higher side. The staff are the saving grace. I’ll skip it next time as there are better options available
One of the best places to eat metro india. Let them know you are pure veg and you will get good food. The staff are very helpful. I caught the front door person chanting and when I asked him about it, I discovered he chants Hare Krsna Mahamantra. I told him Jesus Christ is Brahmaji, the only begotten son born from naval of Sri Vishnu. One of the managers told me the front door person had been there since the grand opening in 1969.50 years of opening doors and chanting holy names. No wonder it's one of the best there is!
We can end up blindly to this place if we want to eat anything authentic in Thai Japanese or Chinese. You name it and the item they will present will be just too good. You will always find the seats full and you may also have a waiting time.
Excellent food. Great service and consistently wonderful. Great Ambience as well. My grandkids love visiting FUJIYA. I do all my entertaining here. Keep rocking always FUJIYA
We tried Chinese food here. Ambience was good, although the restaurant is quite small in size. The wasn't that good for vegetarians. We had ordered mushrooms, manchow soup, noodles, spring rolls, paneer tikka, fried rice. Mushrooms were the best. Don't order spring rolls they were literally tasteless. The rates of items are on the higher end only. The rates usually start from 250 to 300 per dish. There would also be waiting time as per occasion. Overall an okayish restuarant.
First positives - open all day so can walk in anytime. Food variety is reasonable and taste above average. Need to tell them to keep the spices low otherwise one can be burning his tongue!
Negatives - the serving team looks completely fatigued out.no smile, no welcome feeling.walking like straight face and at their own pace.
One of the oldest place in this area and had lots of loyal customers.
Amongst the oldest and the best places to have Chinese food in delhi. Going to this place will make you feel like you are in China only as the complete interior of the place is designed in a very authentic way. No matter whatever dish you order, it will be great in taste. The restaurant also serves great Thai food as well. They can customize the dishes as per your special requests as well. The staff is also very polite, nice and friendly with kids.
Since 1969 as it says and i am seeing since 1999, as fondly as i remember it to be the same. One of the places which have remain the same and have not changed a bit.
The only change would be the staff but rest in terms of majority of the menu, the taste and decor is still the same. One of the finest fine dinning Chinese and Japanese restaurant.
Had vegetable soup with dumplings and fried corn. Soup was great and corn were just fried as much as it was needed. My ever favourite american choupsey still tastes the same. The fried rice or Hakka noodles will still give you the authentic Chinese taste.
The food is always excellent, service was prompt and as always you remember the older days.
I forgot to take pics as i got bit more into my older memories and by the time i realised my lunch was over.
Japanese food was very disappointing. We ordered Sushi and Miso soup and they were no where close to being authentic. Sushi had Mayo on it and wasabi tasted bad. The only reason it was bearable was that the staff was very courteous. I don't think I will go again or suggest anyone to go.
