Very very bad experience, if you are taking bottled water they are taking extra 75% charge per bottle which I don't think is correct, and when you talk to the manager they will say you are sitting in AC restaurant so it's the charge of sitting in it which is not at all correct I have been in many restaurants haven't seen this kind of charges and behaviour
Hygiene is very poor, seating arrangement is very tight. Bathroom are always stinking. This has been observed couple of times and the staff always respond cold whenever reported. Not recommending for family dine in.
This cozy restaurant has left great impressions with such nice service and mouth watering food.especially with the DAHI KE SHOLEY, which were the best I have ever tasted.this is a must visit restaurant.
Govardhan Vegetarian is a fine dining restaurant that offeers dining experience. It serves a variety of vegetarian dishes from around the world, prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a modern and stylish decor. But the washrooms are not clean. Takes more time to serve.
I organized a kitty party over here last month at very low cost. Welcome drink, soup, 4 starters, 4 Currys, parantha, roti, rice, desert etc. You won't believe all this in just ₹425 p.p Food was awesome Staff behaviour very polite Ample space for large group
I visited here only once. It's first but not the last. They stole my heart. I loved the Positive environment firstly. Then I loved the food. And the Waiters are so welcoming. Every individual greeted me very nicely. Also, the price was reasonable and pocket-friendly for vegetarians. I would recommend this Restaurant.
Firstly, its ambience is fair enough for a family restaurant. The place had fair number of customers which brings me to the second point that the service of food was "unbearably" slow. The soup service itself took more than half an hour. Thirdly, for a place this big and hosting so many customers at a time, the washroom was in a really bad condition. It was stinking so bad and customer beside us had the same complaint. The table was also incomplete. Water, napkins, and cutlery had to be asked for repeatedly. All food items had sweet taste to it. Seems like lot of cornflour was added to the gravies to thicken them. On the other hand, tomato soup was anything except "cream of tomato". The waiters were unprofessional and weren't aware of FandB services. Lastly, the billing was done wrong and rectifying took another 25 minutes.
It gave a very family kind of feeling! Loved the food although I ate less but top of everything the staff is very friendly and considerate. It reminded of the old days when we used to go out for family's dinner.old is gold!
It's a nice vegetarian restaurant with an option of both south indian and north indian food. You have few options for Chinese food too. They have space to host small parties too.
Really delicious vegetarian dishes. Tried most of their dosas. Very hospitable right from the parking valet till the waiter. Great to have a meal with the family. Will try their north Indian next time.
Good vegetarian food be it North Indian starters or Maincourse coupled with nice ambience. Slight improvement required in the quality of Mocktails but Overall a very decent experience in terms of food and service.
This place offers pure vegetarian meals. It is good place for a family get-together as well. A good place for people conscious of no onion and no garlic food options (read Jains).
It’s a multi cuisine pure vegetarian restaurant. Primarily South Indian but Indian and Chinese dishes are also pretty good. If you are a vegetarian, must try the food here.
This place used to be the craze amongst localites for south indian food. I went there after few years and sadly the south Indian taste is just not the same. Surprisingly, we saw everyone around us ordering North Indian food only.
We ordered Dahi Vada, Masala Dosa & Onion Tomato Uttapam, none of it tadted good. Sambhar was sweet & coconut chutney was bland.
It's overall good staff is humble dishes are good. Anyhow a little more care for hygiene is required like there are home flies (makkhi yahan) which make the situation irritable. So plz install flycatcher.
The restaurant has been known for long as a good purely vegetarian restaurant in South Delhi. It's buffet on Sundays is popular with a fairly wide spread for about Rs 200 each. The South Indian dishes have often been erratic in quality and disappoint as many times as they impress. The restaurant arranges for car parking but the capacity is limited.
Experience was good, staff was courteous and moreover food was awesome. Ambience was also fine. If looking for a pure veg restaurant go for it. Thumbs up for Govardhan.
