Tried the restaurant to get a break from Indian food.
The good: - the food is reasonably legit. Much better back home in Melbourne. - the seafood pancake which is very large (maybe 40cm diameter). Tastes good but quite oily and soggy. I'm used to more crispy. - kimchi stew is okay. Very grainy soggy tofu in the soup. - sides were tasty and plentiful. - menu is reasonably comprehensive and mostly comprises various options for kbbq.
Not so good: - the beef japchae stew is absolutely massive. Easily feeds 4 people. My wife and I had no chance of finishing it and think the staff should of warned us. - the staff don't really speak English or provide any service outside of the minimum. - extremely extremely expensive meal.
Food was okay but for Delhi, overpriced for the quality and service. Try somewhere else.
Gunj The palace is an absolute gem that offers a remarkable dining experience. From the charming ambiance to the attentive service and, most importantly, the exceptional culinary creations, the restaurant exceeds expectations in every aspect. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a gastronomic adventure and look forward to returning to savor their delightful dishes once more.
It's not organised properly, food was good but the roll was not made properly I'd preferred Korean aunty better taste and made properly.other than that staff was good and that's it!
The restaurant has authentic Korean set up from sitting areas to food. The food is delicious. Apart from food, the USP of restaurant is their staff and their service.
I went with my husband. I enjoyed the experience. Eating Korean food in a Korean-style cabin.
Ground floor has cabins separated by sliding partitions and curtains, with high floors for sitting, with air-conditioner, which you can turn off or on, with ring-bells to ring them for any order. Footwears need to be removed outside cabin. They give slippers to wear to go till washroom. Loved the experience. Taste buds not adapted to Korean food. Liked the Moong bean pancake. Gimbap.not used to it. It was okay. It is like sandwich* for Koreans (*I listened or read somewhere). We sat on ground floor, in a cabin. We enjoyed using metal chopsticks while eating, after watching (while food was getting prepared) some Youtube videos on how to use them. Female staff served us the food.
First floor has tables, chairs.
Second floor has cabins, which can be combined together (after removing or sliding away partitions) to make room for 35 persons.
One person showed us the first floor and second floor, when we enquired if we can go and see the stairs (where they were leading to).
Most authentic Korean food in Delhi. Nice, beautiful, silent ambiance and Well behaved staff ar best part of this place. Barbeque pork and soju was awesome. Would love to visit again.
Gung is one of the best Korean restaurant you will get in Delhi. The restaurant is a rush so Book your seat prior coming. Opens late so best time to hang out for dinner. This is a place you feel like you're in Korea.
This is one of the best experience of Korean food in India so far. The place has such a good vibes and a real korea feeling with different compartments and privacy while enjoying delicious foods with friends and family. I personally recommend this to anyone who's thinking to go here, JUST GO FOR IT️
Enjoyed the meal, the grilled pork belly was worth the wait, the starters seem to have reduced since my last visit but the khimchi and the sweet potatoes are good. Donot order the Korean version of sushi, it is slathered with Mayo making it almost inedible. Brilliant service and helpful staff
Gung The Palance, I visited few days back after seeing the reviews but guess what reviewed were just given by stuffs, friends, relatives and families of this Gung the palance and people who supported them actually it is not true at All. I spent Rs. 8000 but whatever I ordered all dishes were third class no taste, no, spices, nothing tasteless I mean it just like someone put dishes into hot water and taken out after that if you taste that dish how would you feel just like that.people don't waste your money in this Gung the palance specially with your Gf/Bf, parents etc. Even service charges also without our concern they just included in the bill so, I was suppose to tips after seeing that I stop thinking of tipping. It was really disappointed.
I loved this place, found it while feeling adventurous of eating something new. The cabins alloted were quait clean and beautiful, for a moment you might even think you were really in Korea. The staffs were polite and the food was amazing from the entrè to the main course.
Something very unique and one of a kind. . Yes indeed a best authentic korean food in town.prices are a bit higher but it's worth a money spend on the food.for the meat lovers and sea food lovers it's a paradise. Even for the vegetarians they have something in the menu.so just grab a bite there and enjoy the ambience as well as the style of sitting. Oh I forget don't miss the korean wine soju.
Authentic Korean food. Is it pricey? Honestly, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t Always make reservations before coming since this place is always packed. If it’s 2-4 people, walk in is fine. The service could be a lil faster though.
Ambience 10/10 full feel of Korean heaven in Delhi. Many Korean people you will find there Food taste 5/10 table barbeque is not there but lots of side dishes that are a characteristic of Korean barbecue Variety of food and drinks 8/10 You can get makkoli and soju. Definitely true as they are authentic Service 9/10 Lots of staff to cater to your needs
Go to this place for an authentic korean experience. The food is wonderful, the ambience is soft and mellowed and the staff is efficient, courteous and helpful. The servings are large
Taste and quantity is good but the price is high. Best place to have good time alone or with friends and family. Service is good. A nice place for sea food lovers.
Beef bulgogi was too chewy and rubbery. Korean fried chicken was not at all crispy and it was instead very soggy and the chicken was too chewy to eat. Spent 8k rupees for 2 main dishes and 4 cans of makgeoli. Each can of makgeoli (rice wine) has 330ml tiny portion and they charge 600 + taxes for that.
Poor quality food compared to the amount of money they charge.
