I had a regular visitor to this outlet from Jan'10 to Nov'18 and thereafter stopped visiting due to closure of front entry gate from Bahubali Enclave side on DDA's orders. Outlet is neat and clean, good for family gatherings but food prices are steep considering quantity on offer. It offer pure veg food but self-service is an issue because on rush days in peak hours, it's impossible first to queue up for payment/food coupons and then wait for preparation of food and sometimes waiting time is more than 30-45 minutes. Problem is u can't sit and order. They've to take cue from Bikaner Dilshad Garden outlet which serve food to its customers right on their table after receiving payment and customer need not queue up in lines for food after making payment. In peak hours, staff of Haldiram outlet often behave unprofessionally rather rudely with customers which is extremely unfortunate but the problem is that today Haldiram has earned a name for themselves whether it's sweets, namkeen, bakery items, continental food and fast food so therefore they don't care for customers because u believe me that today each Haldiram outlet is milking money not just in lakhs but in crores. I hope after Swiggy, this mindset will definitely change…
Large dining area. Good for family lunch and dinner party. Little bit expensive but based on the quality, the price is reasonable. Pure Veg. Large collection of sweets. Helpful staff nature.
The food is good, delicious, infact. The services are quick and cleanliness is also admirable. Everything is quite well and has been providing the tastiest food over the years.
I wanted to eat Pao Bhaji so I ordered it but it was a very bad idea. The bhaji contained so much salt. After tasting it I went to talk to the manager about it and he replaced the bhaji for me. After I tasted the bhaji that the manager replaced I felt no difference in both of those bhajis. Because of this disaster I felt like not ordering anything else. I will suggest you to not go to this place and even if you do don't ever try Pao Bhaji of Haldiram.
One of the best restaurants in East Delhi, I tried many times like faluda, beetroot barfi, aloo poori, chole bhature, all items tasted well and quality was very good too.
This is an Indian food giant spreader it's business even outside India to many prominent locations around the world. It serves authentic primarily Indian dishes with some exceptions like chowmein, cake and handmade chocolate etc. It also serves Indian sweets and snacks. It's preparations involve a good portion of Ghee and often high quantity of spices and oils as well. It is moderately expensive in Indian market.
A very good vegetarian restaurant and sweet shop. Too many food and sweet varieties are available with reasonable prices. Always crowded. Visited recently. This was the first visit in this location. Finest restaurant and sweet shop in the vicinity. More spacious. One area of improvement is the delivery time.
Comparing with lajpat's haldiram, they give no chilli with aloo puri even when asked, staff is generally not friendly (except for cleaners and guards), they have raised the prices but still not giving onion or any other salads with most of the dishes, so overall a lower than expected standards there.
Good neat and clean place to enjoy your favorite items. Seating is also good and large enough to accommodate more people. Good variety in menu available here and sweets available here are the best, some are higher in price but overall good in quality and taste
Food items are delicious but also too spicy. Obviously you can't go nuts eating everyday, very unhealthy, but it is fine once or twice a week.
SERVICE - place is big and crowded, this is why the service is slow. In spite of being crowded, employees serving all day long they still look energetic.
PLACE - is big and have enough seats to settle 50+ people.
Long queues. Late service. Long waiting time! Self service. But the food tastes good. The crowd is good. Ambiance is also nice, as it is located in Cross river mall, shahadra, CBD grounds.
It's generally very good. So 4 stars for that. This time the experience wasn't great though. Dosas were oily af. So was Uttapam. Aaloo Tikki too didn't taste the usual good.
