Hari Nagar sports complex, one of the very famous sports complex in Delhi. I don't know when exactly it was established but it has produced some of the great cricketers of the country. I will review one by one each sports
1) Cricket - It has one very big ground, lush green and several netted practice ground around the main one. Many kids practice here but supercially looks the coaches are not very good (I am not judging but as it appears from their body language and this I have come to the conclusion after may visits)
2) Tennis - It has 5 to 6 dedicated courts. All the courts are very good. Some squash courts are also there. For individual practice and amateur games there Re other courts available. Since my son who is just 7 years old plays tennis here, I can say some of the coaches are very good but some of them don't look dedicated and they just try to pass one hours with these kids.
3) Badminton - Badminton looks promising here. Courts are very good coaches looked sincere. Open courts and close courts all available.
4) Basketball - When I admitted my son a few courts were under repairing. I found that too was good but number of students are less in basketball when compared with other sports.
5) Swimming - I have not checked so can't say anything about that
6) Volleyball - I haven't checked
Overall fir jogging track is very good, well maintained, cooperative staff. A perfect place for a serene and peaceful Sunday Evening. Hustled with birds' chirping. The only suggestion I have fir them is to check their coaching staff since it is backbone of a sports complex. Fir the rest of the things a big thumbs up.
Very nice and well maintained sports complex where we find almost all sports under one roof with extra advantage of greenery and swings for kids. Also the prices are very nominal and reasonable for there work. Highly recommend this place
Great for jogging and playing for kids. Lot of place for yoga or meditation. Other facilities charged for utilisation. Swimming pool is good in summer. Swimming coaches are not reliable.
I visited here along with my friends to play squash, as we are not members so have to create a day pass by paying 60rs each.
As most of the other games are closed or getting renovated so we went to play squash, just keep in mind to wear gum sole based shoes if you want to play squash there.
Ground condition is good for cricket But the ground size is small and the booking cost of cricket ground is high compared to other ground. Also there is table tennis, basketball court and swimming pool also available there. Entry fee compulsory for everyone.
Would not recommend to visit this place. I can not say about other sports but in connection to the badminton courts, wont recommend. The employees that are responsible for booking courts treat members & and non-members very differently. Has 4 indoor courts, 3 outdoor court (not very sure). Do carry gum sole shoes or you'll have to play without shoes. However, you'll be very pleaesed to know that members get a very treatment. All in all, an okay DDA Complex for kids, youth and sportsperson. Thanks Regards:)
Good nearby For excercise n walk Delhi is a crowded area however in the recent past some parks have come up for or a good evening walk and enjoyment of children this is one of the good parks and we can spend good time here along with our kids senior citizens are too available for company one can spend a good evening here
I've only visited the outdoor and indoor badminton courts. One normal clay court and two concrete courts outside.which are quite mediocre with faded lines. The indoor courts are decent though. Don't forget to carry non-marking (gum sole) shoes if you are to play in the indoor courts.
Hari Nagar Sports Complex is is one of the best complex in West Delhi however they are now making it little better there is still lot of scope for improvement
A good option for those who love sport, all sports amenities are available here like cricket, badminton, swimming, billiards, skating, volleyball, toddler park Coaches are also available to train your kids for any games All you need to register and get membership by paying monthly, quarterly or lifetime membership charges
This sports complex is open to members & general public. All the major sports facilities are available here & are in pretty good condition. Availability is an issue though.
It is a good place for kids and sports lovers. There are some sports which are not there in the complex but the sports which are common all are available. The charges are very reasonable.
