Personal assistants of HDFC are low on IQ, lack information, and keep parroting a few set sentences. The main one is VISIT THE BANK FOR THIS PROBLEM. Impossible to reach hdfc management to sort out problems on telfo. Shocking indeed
HDFC bank's in-office customer service specially at Sarita Vihar branch is like a horror story that will keep giving you endless nightmares.
The staff at this branch specifically is rude, inexperienced and mannerless. They really do not know what they are doing and a simple process can take a month or more to get resolved.
From my personal example - they will keep deducting money for no reason and probably wake up after 6 months and realize that they have to deduct more money from you account and will give no explaination.
If you are in this area and have an account with HDFC I would advise you to travel to some other branch to get your work done.not sure if that would be better but they should rather close this branch if they cannot provide basic service.
I would highly recommend to not open an account with HDFC and go for some other bank services.
HDFC is a bank which I would keep in my personal list of good banking facilities. I mean everything is available online all the facilities. To account opening to account disclosing every single process could be done at sitting at home. I visit other banks and every single day either there is a server problems or technical problem. For even submit cash in your account you would have to wait for long time.
You would find most of the banks lacking in providing basic facilities. HDFC employees behave professionally and manage everything thing professionally. Their would not talk you in rude tone. They would be always polite to u.
