Greetings!

Hope this msg finds you well.

This is to put to your kind notice the level of injustice and harassment we have been facing for the past 1.5 days from the HDFC Ergo team.

It starts with the admission of my mother to Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi on 19th May 2023

A little of her background:
She had been ailing for almost 2 months now and was admitted to Medanta Hospital, Gurugram last month because of some bizarre disease related to nureology and unfortunately was NOT treated well.
We finally had to consult a private doctor to have her problem addressed.

This time there was the same nurulogy issue in addition to Gastrology issue for which she was taken to Manipal Hospital. She vomited umpteen times and had loose stomach issues as well.
Developing faith in Manipal, we got her admitted there, and by God's grace and doctors' rigorous efforts she was cured.

Now the fun begins:

We produced all the relevant bills, reports, and tests that were run on her to the HDFC Ergo team. After their so-called careful inspection, we were intimated by them that only 1,23,930 of 1,98,048 has been approved. Upon asking the reason behind this calculation, we were asked to question the doctors and seek the necessity of running some tests which were irrelevant to HDFC Ergo.

Doctors were kind enough to respond to us back with detailed reasoning on why they had to run those tests keeping the patient's history in mind. We forwarded the same to the team, however, they are still not satisfied with the response.

I finally had to call customer care and got a chance to have a word with Suman Dutta, who is at the post of Asst. Manager

After listening to my concerns, Mr. Dutta replied with a blanket NO and did not pay any further heed to my words.
I put a simple question to him to let me know the name of the tests or the reports which seemed futile to them but all went in vain as he did not know the name of even one of those tests.

Now, the present situation is the hospital is forcing us to leave by paying the amount that has not been reimbursed because HDFC Ergo is not willing to share what further information they require and we are in soup.

I deliberately purchased this particular policy wherein I am NOT supposed to pay any hospitalization charges and thus I have been paying a hefty premium and so I do not expect such miserable things to happen.

I request you to intervene here and provide me with the best possible solution.

I went there for surrender my policy today 25 January I need money it's very urgent basis at 12: 03 pm but they said it's close. If they want they just can receive my policy bond and process on next working day.
They dont care customers value it time.

Service time is moderate if you visit at 11 am and is worst at 12 pm (It may take 3 hrs for 3 tokens only). Employees are concerned but amount of staff to handle the customer query should be more to handle all the customers at faster pace.
