I wish I could rate 10 star for service. They helped me in every possible way when my daughter fell sick there. Only because of them i was able to take my daughter healthy back home. I will be indebted to them whole life.definitely recommend this hotel for every one.

Very helpful and humble staff. I am gratefull to all the people including the owner. I went there without any pre booking and with my extremely sick child. The owner and staff helped me in every way. They even allowed me to cook food for my child in their kitchen. With their support I was able to see my daughter recover so fast.
I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to have a comfortable and good experience

When I lost my passport in Delhi, this was one of the few Hostels where the manager accepted to host me and actually listened and tried to help.

Located in a quieter street of Paharganj with helpful staff.
My private room had comfy beds with working A/C.
WiFi throughout the Hostel worked very well.

Note that the Hostel is currently under renovations, so expect improvements and upgrades in the future.

Worst ever experience, after booking online from MMT they say that they have some issues with them and talk to them directly we can't provide rooms to you. After reaching to the hotel in the reception they said that there was no room available.
Not good.

My friend and I stayed here on our first trip to India. The showers and toilets were not satisfactory, but the staff were warm and helpful with travel advice and things to watch out for.

The staff at Hindustan were all very friendly and helpful, they offered bottled water and room service too which was great after a long flight. The hostel is near very busy roads but I was able to get to all of the places that I wanted to within a short driving distance via taxi/Uber/tuktuk. I was also nervous about travelling solo but the hostel was very safe.

My experience in this hostel was very nice! The staff was friendly and always ready to help me with any question I had. Abdul helped organise a trip when we got stuck because of G20 happening in Delhi. Bit expensive but probably the best we could get in those circumstances. I also did a food tour with Sona, which I highly recommend as well.

I stayed in a dorm and a private 4 bed room. The dorm was OK, the beds are comfortable, but the bathroom a bit smelly.

The private room was very nice, clean and neat, would recommend.

Overall I would stay here again, its a good base to acclimatise and explore Delhi.

Extremely spacious room (booked a private) containing two large double beds. Great shower. Room service menu available here too which is a nice touch for a hostel. Would highly recommend staying here in Delhi!

I randomly selected Hindustan backpackers heaven. It has Great ambience. Staff members are polite and respectful. Beds are comfortable. Remember, You have to get your own lock for the locker compartment. They also allow you to keep the luggage in common area after checkout. It was a wholesome experience.

Overall it was an average experience in this hotel.staff is cooperative.but everything support comes with a cost.
Most dissatisfying point was they haven't switch on the AC during day time.it is function from 9: 00pm to 11pm.
So if anyone is planning is stay during day time.they can figure out some other options if they have

Good place for a small price. Clean, staff is friendly and have good recommandations. The area is okay, 5 minutes away from a train metro station

The food service wasn't there. Rooms were good but ended up paying twice for the stay. Still waiting on the refund for one of them! Check this when paying guys

We have been to this hostel for many days over the last month while bouncing around beautiful India. Abdul has been incredibly friendly and his knowloage of local locations has been fundimentaly usefull. The other lads, Kalish and Raj are always smiling and very helpfull.

We have stored our bags here and they have been safe, the hostel is clean and with a great vibe. I cannot recomend the place the the people more.

Staff is very very friendly! There is also a travel counter that they offer day/short tours around New Delhi. If you are looking to do the Golden Triangle, they can arrange for you too.

The downside is that the hostel looks very old and dirty, but I don’t really care much for that. Basic amenities are however available i.e. Towels, hot water shower (upon request), air conditioning (upon request).

No shower foam/shampoo provided, bring your own!

The staffs are very hospitable, polite and friendly. Loved the entire experience. They have a terrace which is calm and a lobby area to hangout with other travellers. Will recommend it you're in Delhi for a short stay and explore the nearby Bazaar Areas.

This was my first stay in India with my sister. The staff were all very kind and lovely and very happy to help us with anything requested. Close to shops and food.

A good place with good friendly staff.
It has a nice young atmosphere but the place/rooms are not always the cleanest.

The hotel is in bad condition and the rooms were not as advertised in photos. In addition this area although being centrally located is very unclean and dirty. The AC was too noisy and the view was even worse from the window. The staff were also not so friendly. Wondn't recommend them.

Do not recommend. It’s just a place to lay your head at night (with one eye open). Staff told me there was no AC right now because it “wasn’t hot enough”. Asked again the next day and the man working the desk turned around, flipped a switch, and the AC was on. Had issues with the laundry. Was told not to have American standards of it being done in 24 hours, despite being told it would be ready in 24 hours. Was told the issues I had were because no one can understand my (Midwestern) American English accent. Fine, ok. Staff overall was very difficult and at times rude. Having to be very insistent on what was included in my reservation. The food there was ok. Some of it is just prepackaged and microwaved. Rooms are very run down and nothing like the pictures online. Does not feel like a hostel at all. During my stay, I saw hardly any international travelers. There is absolutely no “hostel vibes”. The room would get so hot and musky smelling if the AC wasn’t running. Horrible area to stay in as well. As a man I didn’t even feel safe staying there. Photo attached is the bathroom window.
