Dirtiest hostel in Delhi. The washrooms stink and dishes are always dirty. This place is run by pigs it seems. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, Delhi has many amazing hostels.

It was awesome experience staying at this property. I stayed here on 2 separate visits to Delhi.staffs are awesome and professional.they arranged so many things for me. I would recommend if anyone's looking for a budget place to stay while exploring the National capital

The hostel is good. It is one of the good hostels. Atmosphere is good. You can get to know new peoples from different countries and can make new friends i like it

Good place to stay. Its quite affordable. Ambience is good too. Worth the money. All amenities were available here. One should definitely consider this place.

This place has no clean bathrooms and is a pain to stay in. There are other hostels in Delhi that area much better

I booked a private Room, the room is beautiful spacious with nice decoration, but be bedsheets are dirty, the floor and bathroom also are dirty and smell cigarette, in fact they have ashtray on the nightstand.
I couldn't have hot shower.
I liked the surrounding, the park just in front. And the staff was really helpful with me, to order me food and taxi.
Is nice area to chill with other travelers.

Place is good. Felt that staffs are more interested in foreigners than Indians. Little far away from the metro

I loved my stay here I wish I could stay more and extend my vacations.

Beautiful Property with luxurious interior.staff is very helpful and dorm beds are very comfortable with persnol locker space and wardrobe.

This is a bag packers hostel mainly for the young travellers. The place is located in a posh society. The hostel is a bit shabby, and the rooms are not very clean. In summers it's not a very good place to stay as they switch on the ACs only in the night in the dorms. The kitchen is provided with utensils, refrigerator and a hot plate. So u can cook your own food. Morning breakfast is same almost daily, bread toast, eggs, tea. There are no shops nearby, only a small general store outside the hostel. The connectivity is also not very good. U can stay here if u are tight on budget.

Not helpful. My friend had her passport, money and smartphone stolen in Delhi and when I phoned them to ask to book they refused, even with her digital copy of her passport and birth certificate. Too much inconvenience for them. My 19 year old female friend nearly ended up homeless for the night in Delhi no help to these. Not interested to let her check in with a digital copies of her documents while she waits for her emergency passport. Maybe it’s a nice hostel but not the best start in my own experience

Cancelled our reservation without Letting us know, had to find a different solution in the middle of the night

I will not encourage someone to stay at this property but f you are looking for clean and tidy experience. Its extremely dirty and stinking property. The washrooms are so dirty that it can not be used. The good thing is their breakfast.its a modest one again the plates are so dirty and full of stains that one can not eat on them.

Amazing dormitory and awesome vibes. Nice interiors and helping staff. Absolutely loved my stay. Clean washroom, clean beds, a kitchen to cook your own food. What more can we ask? Oh, they have a cool terrace and a cool campfire place too.

Great location, good hostel.
I stayed for 2 nights on a 4 bed dorm. Rooms are not too big but bed size is good enough. There's side space on bed to keep your stuff which comes handy to keep water bottle, phone, book etc. Also has a charging point and a bed light and small fan.
The staff is helpful. I requested for extra bedsheet and blanket which was promptly provided. Unfortunately towel on rent was out of stock.
The location is a big plus. Very close to Nehru place and GK.
The property is old so can be organised little better. Like the dustbin in the bathroom was broken. The shower did not have hot water. No toilet paper or hand towel. The ac was set on a fixed temperature making the room little too cold.
There's a common kitchen provided for guests' convenience.
Overall I highly recommend thus hostel.

My Psychiatrist's Clinic"Ehsaas"that is close by to Hog.been a reg Guest of Hog from the last 2 Yrs, offlate rishab tandon's & 1or 2 members of his team's attitude has become too discomforting for Me & will never come back here, "KARMA".

I was off to RISHIKESH for "EMOTIONAL HEALING PACKAGE PROGRAM" for a month or so, therefore before leaving the BIKE behind. I Personally took permission from rishab for the Parking of My Bike & he granted it & left My Bike Parked behind at the Veranda of Hog's Parking lot.

But, when I returned shocked to see something to the heights of unexpected treatment that was given to Me on the word of trust from rishab & his Team.

Below are the pics of My Bike how it was abandoned from the Property whose Parking lot had ample amount of space available at that moment and was moved by Hog to there NEIGHBOUR's BOUNDARY who were perfect STRANGERs to Me & May be kind PEOPLE for sure & Therefore My BIKE survived that ISOLATION of being robbed by the GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY, below are the PICs of My BIKE.

Booked a private room here, this is a nice and quiet place to stay at, the staff is very helpful and the ambience is good, and you get all this at a convenient price.

Would surely love to visit here again.

The best hostel in Delhi. Alive Environment, Adventurous Guests, Helpful Staffs, Market and Metro Center.

The hostel is nothing special.
Bunk bed setup with individual fan (many don't work). There's a community kitchen.

The complimentary breakfast is bad, and same menu every day - bread, margarine, boiled egg (limited to one), tea (pretty good).
The kitchen staff handle food very unhygienically. Saw rats in the kitchen.

Beware of availing other services such as laundry, currency exchange; they charge highly.

Even bottled water and soft drinks are sold at rates way above the MRP.

They also have one-day Agra tour, which is not value-for-money for a budget traveller.

Location of the hostel is good, close to the metro station.

It's decent place for single travellers and definitely for a couple.
Price for dorm sharing 4 is 500 per bed including breakfast.
Form sharing 8 is 300 per bed with breakfast.

Negatives:
u wud Hve to be in long queue to use bathroom. Few dorm rooms have 8 occupancy with single bathroom n hence u wud see them using others bathrooms.
Breakfast is jst for the sake of name. U may get bread n tea after few hours.
They don't even keep basic medicines like crocin or disprine which is really surprizing.
Positives:
AC works fine.
Beds are decently neat.
Bathroom for 4 sharing dorm also was near.
The place seems to be safe as girls n guys stay together n I hvnt heard anyone stealing something or like that
Walkable from metro n computer market.

Beautiful place at prime location of the city. This is at walkable distance from Nehru place metro station in Delhi. In general experience is very good. Dorms are clean and neat. There are shared dorms and females dorms as well. They provide breakfast in the morning. There are several activities to do within the hostel. The price per day is pocket friendly. Would surely like to visit here again. It is more fun when you are in group. You can find people from every age group & nationality. Spaces are well utilised and well decorated.

House of Gypsy
Located in the heart of South Delhi, in Greater Kailash-1, this hostel is a beautiful mix of a
party-cum-peace hostel. It serves the guests both, in the most unique manner.
It is situated in Hemkunt colony, I dropped by this hostel to get a tour of the hostel at around
8pm and the surroundings were quite peaceful. It is almost equal distance from Nehru
Enclave (Magenta line) and Nehru Place (Violet Line) metro stations, which makes it very
accessible from the Main railway station and the Airport.
I was greeted by Saksham when I reached here at the reception. I had met Vikas, the
founder of HOG at a hostel in Varanasi in August 2018, and he was kind enough to invite me
to his Delhi property. Unfortunately, Vikas wasn’t in Delhi at the time I visited his hostel, yet
he arranged for a tour.
This hostel has a beautiful and artistic common area on the ground level, a pantry kitchen, a
small library corner, couches and floor seating, and plenty of aquariums filled with exotic
fishes. The first floor has three private rooms, and 2nd and 3rd floor has dorms and a square
corridor, and a common washroom. The walls of the corridor give a very village-like feel due
to the mud layered walls and the paintings of Women dressed in typical ethnic rural attire
and accessories.
HOG has the most dope smoking area at the terrace, and a bar like structure, though they
don’t sell any beer or alcohol yet, you’re free to bring your own as a guest.
Their community kitchen could be more well-equipped, it had a refrigerator and though I did
not see an induction, I was told there is one for the guests to use.
The are pretty affordable for a hostel in Delhi at such a good location, and such good
infrastructure and furniture. A dorm bed may cost you Rs. 350-400/night, and a private room
might be Rs. 2000/night.
Highly Recommended to the travelers looking to chill, and party, and meet other interesting
travelers. Especially the ones beginning their journey in India from New Delhi.

Tucked away from the buzz of the main roads, inside a gated community, HOG (House of Gypsy) is an incredibly cozy place to stay at. The beds are comfortable and there's lotsa space to chill with other bunkers. They also have a couple of really pretty private rooms, but the 4 bed dorm is definitely their clincher- you get a queen sized bed with two layers of curtains- one sheer and one thick to ensure privacy, and the room is painted a happy yellow- and it's not much more expensive than the standard and basic dorm beds. HIGHLY recommend HOG!

The only sad bit is that except for breakfast, you'll either have to get food from outside or use their kitchens (2) to cook some grub for yourself. They do not have an in-house cafe/restaurant.

My stay at HOG was a disaster because of the following reasons:
1. Very few usable washrooms. Flush broken, seat broken, shower broken. The one in the dorm was non functional.
2. Fan wasnt working and wasnt fixed inspite of informing the staff.
3. Too noisy after midnight. The management should make dorm rules very clear. People were drunk and yelling out about what a great time they had across the dorm beds at 3 AM. Never seen a more lack in etiquette.
4. Too many mosquitoes in the dorm. I am guessing this is because the dorm is too cluttered.

I stayed there for 1 month. They me cheated out of a night, and I had to pay for an extra night. (otherwise I probably would of rated them as 5 stars) And tried to cheat me for other days as well but after the first time I requested printed receipts. My suggestion is that you request a reciept starting on the first night that you stay there. I knew 2 other roommates that got cheated out of paying for a couple of thier nights. Otherwise staff is nice. Defiently a party crowd and for those who lije to smoke weed the staff and anyone staying there can do that regularly out back or on thier balcony. I chose tjis location because of the quite and safe neighborhood and are. I stayed in a all-girls dorm and I didnt have any problems.

An amazing place with lovely art paintings on the walls. Very clean and neat.
The staff is great (some of them don't speak English), the receptionist is extremely helpful and nice.
The hostel is quite big, has several floors and rooms. There is a kitchen on the second floor guests can use.
The breakfast is free - 2 bread slices, with butter, boiled egg and banana + milky tea (08: 30 - 10: 00).
The beds are very comfortable and there are curtains around them hance you have your own privacy. There is WiFi on every floor, although on the second floor wasn't working that well. In the lobby the WiFi is great.

Great place, but staff ended up screwing me out of my own money. Paid for a service that I never received and the staff have made it impossible up until this far to get my money back.

HOG - 'House of Gypsy'. Interesting place for short stays, this place is an oasis amongst other backpacker hostels.

Located in south Delhi.

Multiple rooms with alternate bed arrangement provide you with options.
The residents are mostly travellers who visit India.

Complimentary breakfast and quirky ambience sets an informal casual beat to it.

The staff are always around to address queries, needs and issues (if any).
