A huge 4 storey building in nehru place with huge variety of fabrics you will not get anywhere. Now come to the quality of fabric. The fabric quality is worst. The color will fade in 3-4 washes and it will start to get decay.

I went there for the first time and it is an amazing shop, they have a huge variety of fabrics. The staff was a little rude, maybe because there was a lot of customers. I definitely recommend this shop for buying good quality fabric. Also bit expensive

I went to HP singh to purchase various materials. On the recommendation of Google.
Luckily, HP Singh was my last stop, so i had been to all shops and have understood the pricing trends of different material.
HP singh was highly priced as compared to other fabric shops in Nehru Place. The canvas fabric that i purchased from other shop was 200/- cheaper.
PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Nobody in the shop cares, you buy or you don't, it doesn't bother them at all. It took my 15minutes to juggle between counters 2,4,8.just to look at the canvas fabric. They worked like sarkari babus one counter pushes you to second and second to third.
Collection and choice is great but what the use.
Chiffon prints were tasteless whereas chanderi was too good but damn expensive.

So, before you make up your mind to go to Nehru place, do try out other stores.

Materials are okay, expensive, but I was very unhappy with the service of the tailor. Shirt collar was not done according to the example that I've sent by picture, same for the jacket shape. When I asked a second time for the change, I got the reply that this is how the tailor does jackets. Same for the shirt shape, which I've found constricting around the chest, got the reply that I don't need more freedom of movement for office work. So I ended up wasting very expensive textiles for a tailor made suit and shirt that look very old school in design and are not comfortable to wear. In addition, the tailor noted down another 1000 INR for trousers that were never made, I had to point this out myself, so it feels like an attempt to cheat to me.

They take orders even though they don't have the stock and then asks to choose some other style on phone. Appears to be a scam. I will be also reporting to cyber crime to do further investigation.

They show different materials on the website and then calls and ask to choose a different one because the first one is out of stock. This is a kind of scam.

Update: Thank you for the response. I haven't had the chance to talk to the customer care team but I'd just say that acknowledging the customer when they enter a store and also helping them proactively as opposed to not paying any attention to them would be more helpful to the customer.
Since many people who go to a fabric store don't have much idea about which fabric is where and might have questions about other details, just simply having a staff that can answer the questions in neutral/ polite manner can help. Anyway, I will increase the rating since you have been kind enough to acknowledge the problem I faced. Thank you

Aloof and very rude staff. Highly expensive place yet they sell fabrics that you can get a better price and variety of, in the neighbouring stores, which I might add are so much better, with wonderful customer service!
Person at counter 2 was so arrogant and rude and behaved as if he was doing the customers a favour, his body language was so aggressive. Being from NIFT Mumbai, it's sad to see people working like this and treating customers pathetically, exactly what not to do!

Not a good experience. My daughter purchased fabrics and paid by debit card whi was declined for some reason. Then she paid by Paytm which got debited from her account but shop said that they had not received it. They made her pay again using her debit card promising to refund the amount once they receive the Paytm amount. It has been one week and my daughter has sent all bank details showing that the amount was paid twice, but they refuse to pay. Is this a scam! Many customers have also had a problem when paying.spoke to some family member Tripti, but payment not yet received.not expected from such a reputed showroom.customers be alert when paying online.will update if we receive the payment.

I have been purchasing suede from HP singh from past 2 years. First of all the service is excellent. Just a call or WhatsApp and they are so prompt in replying. I would like to mention Nitin ji who has been really helpful with the purchase.
The quality of the suede is top notch and we are very satisfied with the work.

Expensive but full of variety under one roof. I normally order online now and talk to Mr Nitin. He has been very patiently dealing with customers on phone. And, help with the requirement.

I found a good collection of Wool suiting and corduroy suiting on the website. I found the service to be excellent. Mr. Nitin, a young man who works at HP Singh was very helpful and gave me excellent service.i will certainly be ordering more from HP Singh in the near future and I will definitely be contacting Mr. Nitin for my requirements. Love love love the shop have wide variety and alot of helping hands to guide and help you little expensive but the material is also very good

Really good place but poor customer service. To run a big place as this, more sales assistants need to be hired. Loved the availability of goods but ended up leaving because we could not find anyone to assist us with what we were looking for.
