Never take bus from outside kashmiri gate ISBT. Always prefer government roadways, even if you wanna take a deluxe then always take ride from the deluxe buses which are authorised or are inside the ISBT kashmiri gate.

PS - Based on my bad experience!

I called to ask regarding the gate number of Kashmiri gate metro station which will be nearer to the ISBT bus stand.
It is gate number 7. HRTC didn't tell me that, then I called the ISBT terminal to confirm it.

Service is really good HRTC Zindabaad for that BUT price is too Much as compared to other private Volvos

Have been frequenting ISBT to catch HRTC Volvos. HRTC staffs at the counter is too busy in the evenings (after 5 pm) but they do respond to questions. No rude experience as yet. Conductors yell to call passengers to their bus. Volvos I've been on were in excellent condition except one that I boarded from Palampur. Drivers and conductors are generally, pretty friendly and some are very quiet.

Used to be a premium service Himsuta! No more! Govt please don’t focus only on private carriers! These buses show the state of administration in Himachal during these last 5 years! No maintenance! Only breakdown!

We booked for the volvo bus from Delhi to Dalhousie and the deluxe bus came in. Although they refunded the difference amount in cash to each passenger but the deluxe bus was horrible and suspension was really bad. It was an overnight journey with family so it was not comfortable ride. The staff was very polite and also the food stop was good.

No info on bus number and neither on any contact number for the transport authorities, I had an emergency today and with my countless attempt to at least speak at HRTC desk at isbt Kashmiri gate nobody answered which displays a very poor picture of HRTC transport authority.
