Ichiban offers Chinese, thai and Japanese food, and the food is fresh and flavorful. Service was also very good. I Tried sticky rice, fish, dimsums and tom kha soup, crispy potato. All the dishes were very good.
Few days back i visited this amazing restaurant to taste the authentic flavours. The ambiance was very cute and nice. The food was mind blowing. It’s a must try!
I really liked the all veggie soup.on the contrary the pork ramen wasn't that impressive. Tom yum, roasted pork and some dumplings. Everything was delicious. I Tried sticky rice, fish, dimsums and tom kha soup, crispy potato. All the dishes were very good tast.
The place is very small so you can hear people talking. We ordered Chilli Garlic Chicken Wings, Crispy Chilli Chicken Bao, Creamy Garlic Chicken and Veg Hakka Noodles. Crispy Chilli chicken bao was basically boneless chilli chicken inside kulcha bread, creamy garlic chicken felt like chicken in milk, hakka noodles lacked flavour, it was like noodles were mixed with vegetables and served. It was missing the saute flavour of noodles. Out of all we liked the chicken wings best as other dishes were below average. The ambience is okay and the service is a little bit slow. If you want to grab a quick snack then go here just to expect average food. All in all it was okayish.
I Tried teri-yaki chicken and chilly chicken garlic noodles. Noodles were more like boiled maggi in some chilly oil and not even spicy. And teri yaki chicken was very bad. I didn't like any of them.
The staff is friendly and the service is good. They have space issues which makes Asian dining difficult. We ordered pork which was decent, a chicken dish which was decent as well, a vegetable curry that was average and sushi which was below average. For the price they charge, the place is not great value for money and will also not provide you the best dining experience. But is there a better Asian restaurant near that area? I don't think so
Ichiban offers Chinese, thai and Japanese food, and the food is fresh and flavorful. Service was also very good. I Tried Hakka Noodles and chilly Potato, All the dishes were very good.
An awesome place if you are a Chinese food lover. Everything is yummy (but a lil spicy) I enjoy the spicy flavour.so order accordingly. Main attractions - manchow soup, stuffed chilly garlic potato and kung pao chicken. Their fried rice are better than noodles, so if you want a company for your gravy items.try rice instead of noodles.
Absolutely amazing place to have Continental food.
We tried many of their startes, none of them tasted bad. - Spring Roll 10/10 - Potato stuffed with chilli garlic 10/10 - Bao 9/10 - Steam Cottage cheese momos 8/10 - Honey Chilli potato 7/10 - Sushi 7/10 - Tempura 7/10
Try their Menu. They are something different, a quiet place for Family and Friends alike in the mist of the City very near CP, Must try atleast onces, if you like Chinese. Cuisine
Absolutely pathetic. Went there yesterday and everything was below average. The thai shrimp rice was as absolute disaster. It was way too sour, very very unedible. Upon complaining it was returned to the kitchen only to return back within a minute. They tried very hard to pass it off, what a shameless way to cater to your customers. Upon persistence and deliberations it was replaced by another dish. The quality of food has taken a deep dive so much that one of us has developed full blown STOMACH INFECTION. Ichiban owner must realise that, being situated in pandara road, (where even dust sells), doesn't make them a good restaurant. They should learn to deliver quality in terms of service and food quality. Ichban should also know that it takes just a legal notice to drag them to the consumer court. THAT WAS SURELY THE LAST TIME WE WENT THERE. IT'S NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
The restaurant has a pretty good ambience, and serves great food. The staff is also pretty helpful and nice in nature. Would definitely recommend going there.
This used to be “The Go-To” place for Asian food. Went there after many years and was disappointed. The food was acceptable. Nowadays chain restaurants seem to have better. Ambiance was also ok. Service was great, the only redeeming feature.
It was a delight to visit this place. It has a wide range of variety of cuisines and it would literally satisfy your taste buds. They serve the scrumptious food. The service was excellent with responsible staff members. They were vigilant about their customer's queries and addressed them politely and efficiently. One should definitely visit here to have a good time with family and friends. I ordered chicken thupka soup, egg drop soup, kungpao chicken, wok style fish, chicken dimsums, pok choy fried rice, chicken drumsticks. I still can't get over the taste! Really loved it.
Taste is food is amazing. Place is like a hidden gem Non veg options are more as compared to veg. Service is good. They have parking place as well If you are travelling by metro, Khan market is nearest metro station and it rakes around 5 mins of walking. Sushi tasted so good
I've been here many years ago and remember having a very delicious meal. This time around there were several issues 1. The Japanese vegetarian menu had nothing much to offer 2. The order was messed up with different items reaching our table and we were literally coaxed into accepting the incorrect items saying things were cooked specially for our order etc 3. The taste was just ok, nothing great
Situated in Pandara road market. Ichiban is a Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine restaurant with very basic ambience, sushi was nice. Dimsums and spring roll were not that great. Service is good, courteous staff.
Went here to try Sushi. Gotta say they presented it well but my taste buds didnt like it'. Apart from that we had couple of more dishes like pan fried dimsums which was the best of all.we had chicken noodles which was really basic. We really liked the all veggie soup.on the contrary the pork ramen wasn't that impressive. GOOD THING- Here i got to know what an actual kimchi tastes like, all other kimchis i had ever tasted were just waste. We also had Mojito which tasted bad.we are yet to try a lot of dishes but so far only dimsums and the soup have my heart️
We ordered Chinese and thai food. The red curry was awesome. Staff was courteous. Time taken to provide the food is a little bit late. But the food was mouth watering. Had a nice time.
FAMOUS yet the best reviewed, rated and happening place on pandora road is ICHIBAN, haven't heart the name any where else in INDIA, I guess they don't have any branches, would always come and visit this place when I am in delhi
I HAVE BEEN nearly 20-25 times and I have seen the same crew and manager there, which means consistency in work and ethics is followed there
First they were serving BEER alone, but now they have stopped that and changed to a complete unique family restaurant
Best Chinese food I have ever tasted in delhi
Orders FOR 4 in no Hot and sour chicken soup Chicken lollipop Chilli fried chicken MINCED chicken fried rice CHICKEN HAKKA NOODLES

Amazing Chinese food only drawback they serve non veg also which becomes problematic specially when one is out with family on weekends quality of food is good
Ichiban Pandara Road, is a very popular restaurant in central Delhi located on the outer circle of India Gate. They serve genuinely good Chinese, Japanese and Thai food. It's not expensive at all, rather moderately priced compared to Mainland China. We are going there since early 1990's and are still find of it. Now the second generation of the Chinese owner runs it. The stuff there is very courteous and professional. Adjacent to them in the same market is Gulati. Their speciality is north Indian and mughlai dishes and are immensely popular eateries. However if you are at Pandara Road market my advice will be to hit Ichiban. Delhi has lots of great North Indian and mughlai restaurants but Ichiban will give you an unique happiness.
This is a nice cosy restaurant nestled in the midst of Pandara Market. Serves good Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisines. Though the restaurant is small, it is comfortable and the service is decent. The chicken kunchao and fried rice were really good. The Thai green curry also tasted great. Overall I'll recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Chinese food!
Ichiban is situated right in the middle of Pandara Road Market. The place serves Chinese and Japanese food, with a lot of offerings on their menu. There's a variety of sushi options available in here. The ambience is somewhat and cosy, with ample amount of seating available.
Authentic and reasonably priced Thai, Chinese and Japanese cuisine available here. We have been frequenting this place on our birthdays and anniversaries. Started in 1995, the restaurant offers excellent food and service. Special mention must be made of the Ichiban house noodles with generous stuffing comprising of mushrooms, broccoli, peppers, lotus stems, pork, chicken and prawn. One plate can easily be shared by two people. Authorized parking is available outside on the road.
Variety of Chinese and thai foods.it's good for people looking for a change and want to try something new. Thier menu from starters to dessert thy quite have a list and variety.it's a safe place for people who are new in exploring new cuisines
A small outlet holding it's own in the predominantly Punjabi Pandara Road restaurant scene. We came away far more satisfied than our recent experience at Mainl**d China in Noida. Although the kimchi still had ketchup other stuff we ordered was good.
If you want authentic japanese or thai food.this is probably one of the best places to dig into in Delhi. Lunch and dinner times get pretty crowded and if it's a weekend, I would recommend getting a reservation first. Parking, at times can also be bit of a stretch, so try and reach before the peak hours, if you can. A meal for two would generally cost between 800 to 2000 (unless you have a raging appetite, like me). Tables are laid out for large groups too. They don't serve any alcohol, but mocktails are pretty decent. Staff is of course friendly and low light ambience makes way for a beautiful setting.
Yummmy! The chinese taste and thier wonderful hospitality and services. The most delicious recipes of chinese taste in new delhi. Best time to visit is for dinner.
Good food.even better service. Had Talumein soup crispy chicken wings, spring rolls, Hongkong chicken with fried rice. All food was authentic and tasty. The owner is enthusiastic and passionate. Keeps a personal eye on food and service.makes you feel important.overall a good experience.
Efficient service, good eleborated menu. Chopsuey was slightly different from what you get from other Chinese restaurants, the fried noodles were very thick and it was very Sour. Rest everything was very tasty.
Ichiban has been a family favourite for a long time now. The food is delicious as well as authentic but the service is the cherry on the cake which elevates the experience to a whole new level!
The Kimchi and Cucumbers served before the food prepare the palate for the experience ahead.
Highly recommended: Mongolian Hot Pot (soup), Ichiban Special (soup), Kung Pao (chicken/vegetable), and any lamb dish, really!
Best Chinese and Japanese cuisine in Delhi.located in pandara road near india gate this place offers dishes like yaki soba, pan fried noodles, soup in a pot, kun pao chicken and has fresh fish and prawns too along with a variety of desserts. You should end the meal with Jasmine green tea.
Awesome Asian restaurant in Delhi. Very cozy atmosphere, friendly and fast service, friendly prices. We ordered chicken Peking soup, prawn Tom yum, roasted pork and some dumplings. Everything was delicious. Would return in a heartbeat.
28 years of living at one place and there is only one thing i regret when i moved out. We went far away from ichiban. We still take out time to visit the place and relish it even more now. Cant find chinese like this in any other place. Soups, spring rolls are amazing.
I went here with very high expectations with a friend of mine. But I was not very satisfied with the quality of food. We had Ichiban Special soup and Green chicken Thai Curry. Very Okayish.
People who like old school authentic Chinese will really love this place. All their dishes have a lot of fresh and crisp veggies cooked to perfection! Must try- Fish in black bean sauce, creamy galric chicken, and vegetable pan fried noodles (veg)
