Icici prudential has become a nightmare. Due to tech fault of the company in Jan my payment was not showing in their systems. They made the policy elapsed.
Post that I have been paying all the installments and gone through numerous calls, emails, medical tests, unnecessary forms which are being filled for the first time and were not there before but a simple task of revival of policy is not being performed by icici team. Pure office office is being played. I feel trapped in this system where I have already paid a hefty sum on term insurance. If this the service they are providing during life time what can I expect from these term insurance companies

Not a good service centre. They give different versions of guidance in every visit and when you counter, the staff says I don't remember what I told you. This place is in B block community centre, janak puri. I had given name change and dob request twice to icici oru employee still there is no change in records and I'm still giving request to change my name after 10 yrs of buying my policy. Now it is abt to mature in 4 months. Great company, osm employees, slow customers

The staff is friendly but the focus is more on generating sales than servicing existing clients. Once they know that customer is on exit path - then they'll try to lure the customer back but when they know customer is not going to come back, they'll not provide basic services like forms pickup, providing prompt answers to questions - opposed to premium check pick ups that they'll willingly provide. In short as long as you are on path that provides them revenue, they'll be helpful. Otherwise, they'll be very slow and sometimes non-responsive and would exhibit avoidance.
