The most unprofessional and frustrating experience ever. Never expected this from IDP. My counsellor was Pooja Mor. She was proactive only till the time I paid the fee and signed the contract. Post that, it has been a nightmare dealing with her. I truly wasted my 3 months on them. They have tested my patience like never before.
I already gave her a list of programs and universities I am applying to yet she took a month to come up with a list of universities that too with incomplete, outdated and wrong data. A whole month for such poor research. Counsellors at IDP don’t know what they are doing and are far from being subject matter experts.
I had to prompt her a hundred times to get my SOP, LOR, and CV reviewed. She took another month to get it reviewed and the output was a joke. Even a high school kid can do a better review than their so called expert team of editors. Same story for the second draft. She did not forward my second draft of the SOP to the editors for 2 weeks and did not respond when I asked for an update. Classic example of overpromising and underdelivering.
I went for the brand name but I wish I had read the reviews on Quora before choosing IDP. They have no domain knowledge, will put zero efforts, they really don't care about you once they get their money. I would recommend you not to waste your time or money and rather do it by yourself. I repeat, DO NOT GO FOR IDP.
My counselor at IDP Nehru Place was Ms Nidhi Mohan and my whole experience has been so wonderful from selecting and applying for universities to my VISA Interview day. Ms Nidhi has been a very big support, keeping be upto date with the deadlines and motiving for my interview, she has really been a very big support. I would really like to thank IDP and Ms Nidhi for everything.
April 2023 - I visited IDP Nehru Place office and was introduced to ‘Nidhi Mohan’. I discussed with her about my plans of quitting my job and going for higher studies to USA.
