The sheer experience of having food at this place is awesome. Besides the taste, the presentation of items is very nice - welldone chef It's pricey but worth a visit Special mention to Mr. Vishesh who served us the 3 course meal
Tried the chef's tasting menu, they give small tasting portions over a six course meal. Enjoyed most of the food. Their service was excellent, good ambience, beautiful serving style.
One of the best restaurants i ever experienced in my life. Such an amazing theme with chef tasting menu, pretty ambience and so delicious food. You cant get enough of it and inner voice will keep shouting “ye dil mange more”
Excellent food, excellent service! I tried a la carte, every option I tried was fantastic, the baby potatoes are memorable, but in general, everything was delicious. For dessert, I had a safffron-based mouse that was incredible. The prices is obviously quite steep, but it's definitely worth it.
Dining at Indian accent is definitely a luxury experience. I visited this place with my friends to celebrate our post covid reunion. It is located inside The Lodhi on Lodhi Rd. I would highly recommend on calling ahead for a table booking. They asked us to pay booking charges which were later adjusted against our dining bill. We tried chef's tasting menu which was a 6 course meal of small tapas portions. They suggest an ideal order to eat to optimise the experience. Starting with Sindhi dal pakwan all the way till dessert, soft baked chocolate with basundi, each item was better than the last. It's hard to pick a favourite but mine would be Bihari tash meat with sattu roti. With each course we were left wanting more until our stomachs gave up. Initially we were skeptical about portion size but by the end we were all full.
Went for our anniversary and had a really pleasant experience! We tried the chef tasting menu and all the dishes were quite appetizing and you enjoy them a lot. Indian Accent takes you on a culinary journey and at the end leaves you fulfilled but at the same time savouring for more. Awesome experience!
For years now, I've touted Indian Accent as the best food I've had in India. My last meal was a few years ago and this past week, I had the opportunity to dine at the Indian Accent again and I did so twice. A tasting menu for dinner and A La Carte for lunch. Long story short, Indian Accent is just as good as I remember and as good as it is made out to be. The only difference now is that, at least in my book, it's tied 1A and 1B with Trèsind from Mumbai. That's not a bad thing. They're both exceptional restaurants.
Indian Accent has a far better ambience during the day. I find the natural lightness far more appealing that the dark and brooding look prevalent during at night. Service is good and certainly above par but it's nothing to write home about and more care could be taken in explaining the dishes in the tasting menu at the very least. The cocktails as well were good as well but nothing you wouldn't expect at a restaurant of this calibre. At the end of the day, as should be the case in any restaurant, the real star is the food and the food really shines. Every single dish we had was delicious and in the tasting menu, each dish was better than the dish before. It really was an experience. What I really appreciate about Indian Accent is that they don't shy away from the authentic expected flavour of a dish in favour of being more palatable. Every dish was packed with flavour. Surprisingly though, the A La Carte lunch proved to be the better meal. It might be my personal bias for the legendary Meetha Aachar Pork Ribs and the Potato sphere chaat, but nothing in the tasting menu gave me as much joy as the dishes I had for lunch. To bring up my comparison with Trèsind again, the Tasting menu at Trèsind is better but the individual dishes I had for lunch at Indian Accent were unbeatable.
If you're reading this, you've probably heard about Indian Accent anyway. Everyone knows how popular it is and everyone knows how good it is. I'm just here to reiterate it really is that.damn.good.
Have had wonderful experiences here in the past, but unfortunately that wasn't the case this time. The present staff wasn't as responsive, washroom wasn't maintained, the server tried to clear the dishes without asking while we were still eating. Even the mouthfreshner wasn't served at the end.
Good service. Good food, distinctive taste. Small portions. Over the top pricing. Overall, good experience - pricing is however hard to condone - quality does mean and allow a blanket justification of pricing
The Michelin star place offers some exotic food options. Located in the heart of Delhi, inside The Lodhi Hotel, this place is the best Luxury Dine in Experience one can get. Right from the greetings to table selection to the information about dishes, it offers the best in class experience. The feedback is taken from master chef himself towards the end of your meal. We tried the Chef tasting menu, which offered multiple good options. The Kulchas are really great. Place is a quite costly, but worth remembering
Fine experience with the chef tasting menu. Would recommend people to not tinker with the menu. I opted for a chicken dish in the main course instead of the regular items and it wasn't that good.
Pretty interesting twist on desi food. Would highly recommend the chef's tasting menu and finishing off with Daulat ki chaat. The food is either okay- to good to exceptional. There's nothing that I could categorize as bad.
It is good food. But definitely not worth that price. I have to say I had higher expectations. And they can definitely do better with the desserts. The service and presentation were great!
It's a socially exclusive restaurant. The hotel also has an opulence block inside, where we can find some of India's richest businessman and executives. It's like old wine in a new bottle.
I went there on the occasion of Karwa-Chauth at around 7: 30. Without my knowledge after reaching there I found out that the restaurant is completely booked. On request the humble receptionist provided a seat to me where a couple would be coming in another 40-45 min. I entered thinking, that by that time i would get another table for me.
Upon entering I found it completely euphoric. And the best part was I have been given a seat near the artificial lake inside the restaurant. Though I know this restaurant Is overly priced but still visiting here made my day.
Talking about the price it is highly priced but worth going. And yes reservation is a mandatory process.
Points to remember: It's a family restaurant. Food is awesome and tasty too. Alcohol is served here.
It's a different world of food, every dish was unique so have been there twice and they never disappoint with their world class service and quality of food. This place is certainly expensive but value for money. You can go for their buffet also and they just keep giving complementary dishes to taste their wide variety of menu. Apart from food they also provide such a great Ambience to dine in and enjoy their unique dishes.
Absolutely not worth the money spent. There are much better fine dine restaurants in Delhi than this one. We had chef's tasting menu and it was complete waste of money.neither taste nor variety. Not recommended
We came here for our date night and everything from the menu, service and ambience is tastefully planned. We opted for the veg tasting menu and that has quite a huge variety of dishes, with each one presented beautifully from the next with exquisite taste. The spiciness was just perfect, we were absolutely lost in the experience of each dish, with the staff being very courteous and polite. They also can customize the entire menu to be vegan which is commendable. We would come here again another time to try the new menu, we loved our experience here.
Excellent dinner last week. The restaurant is certainly one of the very few fine dining restaurants in India. And apart from modern Indian food, what really sets them apart is their service. It's possibly the only restaurant in New Delhi, where the staff is attentive and one never has to repeat an order. Or call for a staff members attention. They ve been trained for a Michelin level service.
What one pays for at Indian Accent is a lovely, quiet and amazing atmosphere in a beautifully lit and minimally decorated restaurant. Where everything from parking ones car, to the restrooms and of course the ambience is fantastic.
A perfect choice for a special occassion with loved ones.
Absolutely delicious food and an amazing experience! My first time and for sure wouldn’t be the last Thoroughly enjoyed the creativity and use of different spices! Very friendly employees! Felt the service was a bit rushed.
Found it strange they had very limited Champagne / Sparkling wines to choose from.
This should be rank in first 10 best restaurant of the world. Tourists visiting Delhi, who are food lovers, must visit this place. It’s amazing with excellent ambiance. Tell them your taste and Go with their suggestions, you will never go wrong. Best part is that every member of the team had detail information on every item on the Manu. Entry to exit every moment was made most comfortable.
One the best restaurant in India with amazing food. The chef's tasting menu is exceptional in each and every way. This place is heaven for non-vegetarian who wants to try some gourmet food.
I have visited Indianaccent since its inception, I have always been nervous. It is my favourite grand restaurant in the country, bar none and I have always wondered whether chefmanishmehrotra would manage to surprise his regular diners with a new menu, when the previous one was so brilliant. And that's the whole thing. Now that Indian Accent has acquired two siblings in New York and London, where Chef Manish has to divide his time AND make periodic new menus, it is remarkable how fresh and sassy the ideas continue to be. His inspiration is from street food, home cooking and Tamil Nadu where he has family. One of the plates shown here has a humble vegetable in a South East Asian avatar but because the vegetable has been mentioned on the menu, few Indian customers want to try the dish! Not only do we go in for food fads and ignore ancient Indian grains in favour of quinoa, we also ignore Japanese stews on a menu if it contains desi vegetables!
It's not just food, but an experience at Indian accent. Every single dish is amazing, I would recommend chef tasting menu as its a 6 course meal well orchestrated for yoir pallet. And don't worry in case you don't like any course just let them know they will accommodate your request. Chef is super humble comes to you at the end to ask how was the experience, just too good. If you haven't been here, the n what are you waiting for!? P. S.book reservation 4 days in advance just to be safe.
Love the tasting menu here. Every dish is full of unique flavours. One of my favourite things is the Phalsa Sorbet served in a toy pressure cooker - takes me back to childhood!
I went to this restaurant with a friend of mine as we planned to go here from a long time. The restaurant is located in lavish Lodhi hotel and boasts one of best modern Indian cuisine. Do try there yellow dal which is made from many flavours with cheese naan. Its a great place to be.
A different experience. Starters were exceptional. The flavours are mild and very distinct. Love the bite size portions served. Desert could have been smaller portion, and I found it tooo sweet
It was a great experience with Indian accent The food very flavourful and tasty. One of the best restaurant I have visited in the area. Customer service was amazing and welcoming. The price are also very affordable
The place is inside "The Lodhi", can't be seen from the main road. They have tasting menus for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians that comes with drinks as well. Starters were very unique, creative and just the perfect portions. Drinks were very tasty, but canned juices were used for them.
Expensive menu but well worth it overall Very very clean place Staff and service were great Good parking spots available, including valet parking
A nice place to have good food. Though expensive, still a must try if you can afford. The chef's tasting menu was delicious and delectable consisting of various starters, main menu and desserts.
I was here for the first time and it was really nice experience. Ambience is too good and so was the food. I ordered chef tasting menu and it has everything to fill my mouth with taste buds. I always recommend for variety and taste. But portion was too little like one bite of everything and everything has same taste of cream.
Loved the way each dish was explained before serving. The chef personally came over to ask us about the food and if we liked it. We had the tasting menu and lamb raan. They were both equally amazing.
It's a wonderful place to go on a date or a business partner. Do keep in mind you'll be spending around Rs 7000 - Rs 10000 for a dinner for two and approximate from there.
To sum up, yes I would absolutely go there again. It's a different experience and I'd definitely recommend going there atleast once.
NOTHING extraordinary. It’s an OVERHYPED place. Server’s are polite but not trained. For example, he put the cap on the wine bottle instead letting it breath, while serving, his clothes were over my plate, I had to remind him for filling my wine glass every time. We spent decent amount of money, no one asked for the feedback about food. Ambience is ordinary too. Overall experience was average but if I consider the amount I paid and what we got in return then I would not recommend this place unless someone is spending on corporate card
This was our fifth visit to Indian Accent this year and with this visit we concluded our 3 city Indian Accent tour. We tried the chef's tasting menu with costs around ₹4700 all inclusive. The first course was blue cheese Nan with cauliflower and ginger soup. Blue cheese Naan has that sharp after taste and isn't the best thing on menu. Cauliflower soup was good. Not better than the pumpkin soup, though, which they serve at NYC and London locations. Next course was potato chaat, which was simply delightful and I wish there was more of it. Next, We were served Golgappe with 5 different flavoured water. This was the item we were both looking forward to. However, the flavor was a big miss for us. We liked the tamarind, yogurt and mint flavoured water and completely disliked the pomegranate and pineapple flavor. We moved on to kanyakumari pepper crab with crisp idiyappam. Crab meat was heavily spiced and was mixed with cauliflower. We couldn't actually taste the crab meat at all. This was a big miss for us. Next we were served smoked duck shammi with barberry chutney. Kebab was succulent and chutney was just right.tawa lamb chop, bharta with smoked papad was served next. Lamb chop was amazing and baigan bharta didn't taste like baigan bharta at all and was delicious. Easily one of the favorite item on the menu. Before the main course, we were served anar & churan kulfi sorbet as a rest course. Sorbet was just playful and tasted like anar Dana churan. For the main course we tried both the chicken tikka meatball and gongura fish. Gongura fish was the hands down winner. The curry was delicious and fish itself was fried to perfection. Chicken meatball was good but paled in comparison. Black dairy dal was good and the kulchas were unique. Avocado raita was weird though. Avocado with raita isn't the best combination somehow. Finally we were served a trio of dessert. With warm doda burfi treacle tart, vanilla bean ice cream and daulat ki chaat. Our favorite was makhaan malai or daulaat ki chaat. The airy dessert was a perfect dessert for this hearty meal. Overall an amazing experience and totally worth the price.
Everything was way above expectations. The chef has gone way up the league to create some of the most wonderful recepies that I have ever tried. Spotless perfect!
I went to this place around 4 months back with my family. My brother has visited us back from US and it was in my wishlist for long-time so it was set to go to this place. We all read through menu before going as we were excited and we finally decided to take its Chef Special Menu. The interiors of place are average nothing great compared to food as food is exceptionally good! I would say food is more of an experience rather than just eating. The way they present, quantity everything is commendable. We all were amazed to see such varieties as it was the first time experience. This place needs an occasion to visit as it’s very expensive too. It cost us 17k for 4 of us but the experience is amazing!
Superbly innovative Indian cuisine. Other than the lamb chop everything we had was somehow new. The Pani poori appetizer was probably the most memorable. It is expensive by India standards but much cheaper than a similar quality meal in Singapore or elsewhere. Wish I had skipped lunch to have enough room to truly make the most of it
Went with 5/5 expectation. And it was. On many counts. Only thing I don't agree with is taste. It was Indian but definitely toned down in terms of spices and flavor. It was like eating good Indian food outside India. It's authentic but still not there. Keeping that aside. The experience of fine dining with indian food on plate is not a normal thing. Service, ambience & presentation made an evening well spent. Desserts are must try. Must visit at least once for all food lovers. But the real question is. Will I go again? May be not.
The food is out of this world, especially the chefs tasting menu. Def go here if you are visiting dehli. The pricing is expensive ($50 USD for the chefs tasting menu) but worth the experience.
Excellent delicious cuisine with wonderful portion sizes. The flavours in all the food was wonderfully Indian, yet not enveloped by the usual cream and butter. Very pricey, but well worth the meal. Ideal for a lazy afternoon lunch with a loved one
Prompt service, well trained and courteous staff, pleasant ambience and innovative food. We had a memorable experience at the restaurant. Palatte cleanser in between meals was a good surprise element which kept us looking forward to it. Services extended by the restaurant were commendable. Look forward to dining again at the restaurant. Though restaurant is little expensive but worth an experience. Great Job Team Indian Accent.
Hands down for one of the top 5 meals of my life. Everything was spotless. The chef went so much beyond of our expectations in order to make us happy. The whole staff seemed to be caring about us and making sure the full experience was perfect. The made it! Thank you so much, Indian Accent team!
A dear friend, Shavina had been sending people to this restaurant for years without going there herself. She convinced us to come here and frankly the menu didn't look very inviting. It's Indian food fused with many other cuisines and interesting combinations which are much nicer to taste than read about. The meal started quite disastrously with blue cheese paratha bits which I liked but all the others rejected right away. Looking at our expressions they non chalantly swept it away and replaced it Wil a quinoa bhel which was delightful. We opted for the chefs tasting menu and we're not disappointed with any of the foods that were tastefully decorated and served. It's a very expensive restaurant but I feel the food was excellent and the staff helpful and courteous. Very rarely does a restaurant serve food which almost without exception you totally enjoy! I am glad we came.
Top 50 Asian restaurant and top 100 must visited restaurant in the world. The price is very competitive and the food is awesome. The food are mainly Fusion Indian taste mixed with western ingredient, you can even try scallop and pork belly with curry.
If in Delhi, must visit this restaurant for chef"s menu for enjoying Indian food with innovative ideas and superb presentation. The ambience is brilliant.
Substandard taste. I have been to quite a few fine dining restaurants, but it’s the worst. We have ordered chef’s tasting menu, which has erratic food course. Indian Accent is strictly average and very overly priced. A similar dining restaurant ‘ Masala Library’ is much better than this.
Fine dining and good service but food not quite top 100 in the world. Nothing was outstanding which was a disappointment but worth a visit just don't expect it to be on par with its peers in the San Pellegrino best 50 restaurants.
