Worst airport I’ve ever been to.

It was about 84 degrees Fahrenheit inside. They have a mulititude of lounges, each of which my wife and I should have gotten access to, either by our business class seats on a United flight or because we have priority passes but we got shuffled between two lounges two times. By the time we got seating we decided it was too hot to stay in the lounge and found better food and cooler temperatures in another non-lounge restaurant. We will be flying my to India regularly for business and I dearly hope the airports in Mumbai and Bangalore are better than New Delhi.

Baggage handling is getting poorer day by day. It takes lot of time to get baggage. Very serious efforts are required at this alongwith crowd management at entry.
T2 needs major renovation.

Air port is good but the air India airline planes are messed up not clean not good food everything is damaged they use tissue on the plane baggage area because water is coming from roof of the plane pilot doesn't know how to land and fly with no disturbance

To my knowledge is the busiest of the all international airports in India! But the most beautiful is the Bangalore Terminal 2! Delhi's traffic is very unpredictable so keep a safety buffer of 30-45 mins travel time! Wifi, Charging facilities, Food and shopping is Top notch!

T2 is having less rush and the Encalm lounge is also very nice. You can use almost all cards in this lounge. Food layout and Overall taste is very good. We used Digi yatri app for entry and security, experience via Digi yatri was very good and seem less.

Inside the security check in, it's really good. Great, great shopping. Congratulations wifi if you scan the passport for 4 hours. Then you can pick up a new one.

Once inside the departure area, I was delighted to find a wide range of amenities and facilities. Delhi's International Airport is a building fit for purpose. Getting in requires a security check to confirm that only the travelling passengers access the building. The officials can be caught out by the variety of documents the public presents, leading to delays. There are yet further ID checks of the passports before you get to the check in desk though there is no notification that this is necessary. Use of trolleys is free. Free WiFi requires a visit to a desk where a temporary password is issued. There is an extensive duty free shopping area where prices are on the whole the same or greater than those in the streets. The food courts serve plenty of variety of ware to a very good standard. International passengers can make it from entry to the boarding gate in 2 hours but 3 hours is much more relaxed and less likely to be hit and miss.

Record breaking lack of productivity. 10 people stand around watching one receiving people in line. No free wifi. Rude staff. Made us wake a sleeping baby instead of manually screaning the stroller unlike in any normal airport

It is one of the finest airports in India. The domestic departure terminal is extremely crowded. To reach the departure terminal, domestic passengers must travel by bus. Traveling this way is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The most unfortunate thing to mention is the airport staff's behaviour. Training should be given to them.

Domestic lounge T3. The service is excellent here. Specially Nirmala Saud is so helpful and cooperating. Great thumps up.

Terrible airport management long queues wait in lines for hours. This is what happens when you allow stupid people to manage airport

Absolutely horrible experience. I feel the staff enjoys harassing travelers, instead of helping them find a solution. If you ask a question, you get "yelled" and be belittled by staff.

One of the world's best airpot in terms of passenger facilities. Very busy most of the time. One should have sufficient buffer of time to get through especially during bussy periods of the day. There are total 5 terminal. 3 for passengers and one for cargo & general aviation each. Duty free shopping is available at T3. Well connected to Delhi Metro magenta line and Airport express line. Near to Aero city, gurugram and dwarka

Terminal 1 is under construction by L&T.
It will take another six month to construct fully.
Looking nice n will be no. 1 in Asia

Best airport within the India, but authorities should have taken care of cleaning and some toilets are under maintanance since few days (gate no 24/25 (terminal 2).

You can find connectivity to most of the International and Domestic destinations. All the terminals are occupied with multi-brand showrooms, food courts, sufficient waiting area, lounges, ATM, Money Exchange, Utility stores extra.

Airport well connected with Metro so it ensure even express train connectivity through metro lane. Public Transport and Rent A Car facilities etc also available.

In Aerocity, you can find most of the world class hotel chains, it ensure hassle free stay near airport.

One of the largest airport in India and offers best in class services. Food court is similar to that of a shopping mall we see. Faced difficulty in locating domestic terminal and nobody there to assist during my visit. Rest all good, airport is maintained well and have good connectivity with metro as well as other transportation facilities like metro buses. Few pics for reference

Truly international airport. Best in the country. Especially terminal 3 is world class. There is a huge shopping area which hosts some of the worlds biggest brands like swarovski, Da Milana. Food court has variety of options vaango, KFC, McDonalds, Dominos, subway, costa. Also shops are avaialble enroute to the gates while we go through Travellator.

So this was the first time I visited to Delhi and also my first solo trip. I have never visited such airport it was huge. I guess the airport has 65 gates, so can assume how big the Airport is. The airport staffs were also helpful. I had to travel to gate 52, walk was long but it was not stressful thanks to the elevator system which made it super easy. It was a comfortable trip for me.

Everything is so managed.
Better to come before time as it's a huge airport and took sometime to understand.

One of the finest airport on the earth with world class facilities. T3 is newly constructed terminal mainly used for international flights. Domestic and International airports are very close to each other. Airport is located in outskirts of New Delhi and near to Gurugram. Interior of this Airport is awesome. Never saw such interior except Singapore's Changi Airport. Have a pleasant journey to India!

Neatly maintained. Big international airport with more than 50 gates. Food court and many coffee shops, wine stall, gift shops. Toilets are neatly maintained

Visitors can easily find food, parking, relaxing places and whatever else required to them.

One of the busiest and biggest airports of the world. The airport is a modern powerhouse with state of the art technologies used almost everywhere. It is a silent airport. There are multiple places to eat and drink. And strong retail presence for anyone willing to shop. I just wish the crowd management is better and a welcoming helpdesk is put up. New toilets are far better than the older ones.

Covid measures in place. Takes some time to get the formalities done. Inspite of being such a huge airport, they struggled to get a faster working printer to put in line for document scanning and copying, causing huge lines and unnecessary waiting.

सुरक्षा चाक-चौबंद, कर्मचारियों का भी नियत सीमा तक ही प्रवेश सम्भव है। साफ सफाई की उत्तम व्यवस्था। सार्वजनिक कैंटीन में भूलकर भी मत जाना, यदि आप डालर कमाने वाले नहीं हैं। यह रूपया कमाने वालों के लिए नहीं है। दिल्ली ड्यूटी फ्री (विदेशी शराब) T3 आगमन मार्ग में है, जो मस्तानों को ललचाती है। पर केवल विदेश से आने वाले यात्री ही इसे पा सकते हैं।

•However there is a lot of rush and resource persons are not available at every immigration counter. So, it leads to time wastage

•Lack of sitting space especially because of Corona.

Well maintained, Clean airport. Food and drink facilities are good.supportive staff. Their always bollywood songs playing in airport which is really good.

Being capital of India, and one of the metropolitan city, what you see is a ruckus airport with no proper systems, no proper
information, unprofessional behaviour of the staff and airport authority. What kind of service do these people give, complete nonsense.

The first timers really struggle here, especially if there is a connecting flight i.e, change from international to domestic, then please do ask each and authority or concerned authority of your booked airline company for each and every detail because these people have the info but will never reveal until and unless you question it.

I was really shocked to see such situation in the capital of india. I arrived from Frankfurt and had a connecting flight to Bengaluru. But, believe me i had to ask each and every staff about each and every step. Though i knew few things, i was still overlooked in many aspects.

Please, my suggestion is avoid this airport.if you have a direct flight to your city or country, just take that even if it costs few more notes dont worry it's worth it

It's one of the best in India. Big parking, informative boards. Digital friendly. And good shopping with Liquor shops available

One of the best infrastructure and longue service among PAN India. Security check could be handled in a better with with less chaos in between authorities and passengers themselves

The airport authorities are trying to maintain the utmost sanitization practices with automated sanitizers and clean washrooms but it is the people who need to maintain social distancing.

Nicely maintained place in terms of cleanliness and traffic management but waiting area should have more sitting arrangements.

인도에서 가장 안전한 장소임에 틀림없다. 비행기 티켓이 없으면 공항으로 들어갈수가 없다. 늦은 시간 도착한 사람들은 공항에서 노숙을 하기도 하고, 택시를 타야할 경우 안전한 프리페이드 택시를 타야한다.

공항철도는 새벽6시부터 개통되니까 참고하시고, 면세점은 비싸고 별로 살만한 물건들이 없다.
도시간 이동시 반드시 공항철도를 이용하시고 공항가는 길은 항상 붐비고 차가 밀리기 때문에 권하지는 않는다.

It must be the safest place in India. If you do not have a plane ticket, you can not enter the airport. Late arrivals can be homeless at the airport or take a safe prefade taxi if you need to take a taxi.

The airport railway is open from 6 am. Please note that our duty-free shops are expensive and there are not many things to buy.
When traveling between cities, you must use the airport railway and it is not recommended because the road to the airport is always crowded and cars are pushed.

The air port shows it edge. Needs to be updated. Not the best seating areas for while you are waiting to board the plane. Flew into terminal 3 (international) then had to take a shuttle to terminal 2 for (domestic) flight to Hydrabad. Shuttle picks up at pillar 10 outside and takes about 20-30 minutes to get to other terminal. Be sure to allow minimum of 2.5 hours between landing of international flight and start of domestic flight. You have to go through security and everything again as expected.

It is the best airport that I have ever visited. Right from the entry to the flight departure the airport is well managed and neat and clean. The washrooms and other facilities at airport are damn appealing and the behavior of ground staff is very nice. They will help you at every step. After security check you can see the huge duty free area which is very mesmerizing. The delhi airport is best and I would recommend it to everyone.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is north india's best, biggest and busiest airport. It is connected with airport metro service. Terminal T3 is for international flights and Terminal T2 is for domestic flights. It is neat and clean airport. Every facility is available here. Volvo buses from punjab also goes here. Cab service also available here.

No free internet for international traveller. Are you kidding me? I travel around the world and never had this experience. Atleast you can have initial 30-40 minutes for free so that someone can make a call or send a message to make an update to family.

I drank coffee at starbucks and they charged me $6 for small cup. I was like, seriously! I can buy 2 coffe in US with same price, ridiculous.

Totally rebuilt this building is state of the art serving both domestic and international flights.

It has a food court with a number of top franchises including Mcdonalds, kfc, subway, Costa, etc.

Similar with clothing and other stores.

The airport is well designed and the terminal building modern and well lit.

The airport was well maintained and looked after. Everything looks fine and clean. But there could be some language difficulties for some staff workers, but they try to understand and communicates with passengers as much as they can. Staffs where really helpful. The boardings were on time and was quick. It was very easy to find gates. The shoppings were duty free and affordable prices. It does worth to choose your destination airport or connecting airport.

Worst experience ever,
One you go to departure (even if I was in transit) you can't get out even if your flight is 8 hours later.
Very unprofessional and not helpful staff.

Airport directly from XIX century.
When you come here in Transfer.you still have to do all the security controls, just as you just do the check-in. You are controlled in your departure airport? They don't care. You will be in a queue and a pathetic man with a pathetic paper controls your boarding pass cancelling your name from a list. By hand. One by one. Without any necessity because your boarding pass has bee issued already by air India. Then other queue. They open again your hand luggage. That has been already controlled in your departure airport. You spend another half an hour by scanning yourself and your hand luggage. Then they put a nice stamp on your boarding pass.
Total of 50 minutes lost on unuseful controls and you are just doing transfer.
Moreover they have a ridiculous lighter phobia. You cannot have any lighter nor in your checked baggage nor in your hand luggage or your pockets. Maybe they resell such amount of lighters they stole from people I don't know. Other airports don't care about your lighter. When you transfer from India when your travel is over you'll be outside destination airport begging people to light up your cigarette.
At the end, when you finally reach your gate. You have to do another queue to obtain another nice stamp in your boarding pass. PATHETIC.
I traveled in many places. I never seen a so stupid way to act.
Free WiFi last for 45 minutes. But if you activate it once arrived, it expires before you finish the bureaucracy I described above.
Worse international airport I ever visited by far.
