Not anymore Hotel, Now changed into INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS, an autonomous body under ministry of Culture,

I loved this place. As it witnesses lots of literature and cultural fests but sadly they are gonna destroy it under central vista project.

The old Janpath hotel has now been refurbished/converted into an official space. So now the hotel does not exist.

Awesome place- for High profile Guests, Very Peaceful &. Calm place

One can have the delicious food as well at a very nominal cost.

Nice ambience at the Restaurant - had a great time during my visit

I recommend one should stay there at least for 2-3 days to have a nice break of routine life.

In the online classes they provide good study material various facilities such as online mock test and lot more.faculty are very well nourished and friendly with students.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA),  New Delhi is a premier government-funded arts organization in India. It is an autonomous institute under the Union Ministry of Culture. It was established in the memory of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kapila Vatsyayan as its founding director.
The IGNCA was launched on 19 November 1985 by Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi at a function where the symbolism of the components was clearly articulated at different levels. The elements - fire, water, earth, sky and vegetation - were brought together. Five rocks from five major rivers - Sindhu (Indus),  Ganga,  Kaveri,  Mahanadi and the Narmada  (where the most ancient ammonite fossils are found) were composed into sculptural forms. These remain at the site as reminders of the antiquity of Indian culture and the sacredness of her rivers and rocks.

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts Trust was constituted and registered at New Delhi on 24 March 1987.

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, established in memory of Indira Gandhi, is visualised as a centre encompassing the study and experience of all the arts—each form with its own integrity, yet within a dimension of mutual interdependence, interrelated with nature, social structure and cosmology.

Its official goals are:

to serve as a major resource centre for Indian arts, especially written, oral and visual source materials

to conduct research on the arts and humanities, and to publish reference works, glossaries, dictionaries and encyclopedias

to establish a tribal and folk arts division with a core collection for conducting systematic scientific studies and live presentations

to provide a forum for dialogue through performances, exhibitions, multi-media projections, conferences, seminars and workshops on traditional and contemporary Indian arts

to foster dialogue between the arts and current ideas in philosophy, science and technology, with a view toward bridging the gap in intellectual understanding between modern sciences and arts and culture

to evolve models of research programmes and arts administration pertinent to the Indian ethos

to elucidate the formative and dynamic factors in the complex web of interactions between diverse social strata, communities and regions

to interact with other national and international institutions

to conduct related research in the arts, humanities and culture

Neatest metro station is Central Secretariat. This place for art and cultural exhibitions. It's a Indian government property. It's a campus is very big. There is always something or others activities going on for every day. There is always something or the other happens for the visitors. The neatest 5 star hotel is Le meridien.

I was there for the exhibition of the culture similarities between India and Iran. It was mesmerising. The way Ramayana has been scripted in India and Iran is spectacular. The similarities in food are wow. One of a kind visit.

One of the class hotels of the Delhi NCR, located in the heart of the City. Hotel has all facilities and services of a 4 Star hotel. Rooms are spacious, neat and well maintained. Staff is courteous, professional and very cooperative. Restaurant serves quality and tasty food, overall value for money. Recommended!

I was lucky enough to be invited as a speaker for one of their women's day events. Each and every inch of the place both interior and exterior is carefully designed and taken care of!

Library of this centre is very rich. Great ambiance for the study. All the staffs are well behaved and very helpful in nature. Really impressed with all these.

But there is one problem. Scholars are disturbed by the frequent calls in the office nearby and chatter of staffs. They should make a sound proof chambers or do something for the solution.

Extensive and beautifully laid out space - manicured lawns, lots of trees, potted plants, etc - with buildings for conferences and events such as exhibitions, lectures, and more. The IGNCA hosts some of Delhi's most prestigious as well as most popular cultural events, all the way from literature festivals to melas, expositions and more. What sort of facilities, catering, crowds, etc you will encounter depends upon the type of event you're going for, but overall, this is a lovely, green area that's nice to visit even if all you want to do is soak in the ambience.

Excellent place to sit and meet with clients and also have ample parking place. Very peaceful in the crowded delhi area.

The food is expensive but worth visiting.

This place is really good for the exhibitions. Went there on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The ambience was quiet and the people who organized it were humble. They didn't interfere in what you were doing. The lights and the cleanliness were at top. Do check their facebook page for future events and they also have an Instagram page where they post the latest event photographs.

Was a part of Sahitya aajtak, well organised, and centre has big gardens giving full fledge space for such events to create its mark.

I love North East Festival. North East people explore all over the north east by their tradition, dishes, music and lots of activity. They are awesome people.

Northeast itself is an emotion. Her varied culture, amidst nature, delicious cuisine and simplicity of the people makes her the best place to live forever.

Spacious location in a prime location. So much unexplored potential. I wish the toilets were better maintained. Not sure why all government facilities in India have pathetic toilets. Also a lot of waste lying around. I hope the culture ministry decides to make this place into a world class venue for art and culture events.

Nice place where various cultural activities, programme, festivals etc are organised throughout the year. Spacious lawns, ground, auditorium etc are available here. But public convenience facilities like Drinking water and washrooms are not properly available for public gatherings.

Nice place to see some Indian made products.
Like Bapu did to have own clothes and burn all British clothes, everything from India from every part.
Then the art gallery was mesmerism, really what an artist, the art will take you original life.

IGNCA is one of important museum and memory of former PM Indira Gandhi.
Last time i attended Sahitya Aaj Tak event that was really nice event. Alot of events always conducting here.

I've been here a few times with family to attend shows here and this is a good place to hangout with family and friends.

Situated in the center of New Delhi near India gate. This place is known for excellence in arts and exhibitions. Huge lawns for holding events and functions related to art and culture.

Good centre portraying the art and culture. And techniques for prevention and conservation of art and artefacts.

One of the most beautiful places in Delhi. Second largest government property after Rashtrapati Bhawan. Lovely ambience. Aesthetically constructed and maintained.

One of the best places to observe and learn much about our own history. The way things started and developed to this day. It gives us a connection to our ancestors of the past. The way they lived their lives and how things like bronze and copper came to use and more unknown interesting facts. So, surely have a go if you are in Delhi. A must visit. Good place.

One of the best hotel and staff in Delhi, employees are super cooperative and food is also very nice.

Spacious rooms, the location is in the heart of the city, hotel service could be improved.
