Indraprastha metro station is the dirtiest station I have ever seen. It has a filthy stink near the lift and the staircases are never cleaned.

Indraprastha metro station lies on the blue line of the Delhi Metro network. Located close to industrial buildings, this station is widely used by commuters travelling to the offices nearby or to also visit the Indraprastha Park down the road.

Yamuna river is near this metro station. It's on the blue line of Delhi metro. You can reach easily here from Rajiv Chowk. You can get a good scenery of yamuna river from the metro itself when you are just to reach this station from vaishali side. Have a look outside the metro while travelling.

Indraprastha Metro Station
Gone are the days when Delhi metro used to be punctual and cheap. Now it's all about being expensive, not being on time and horrible deployment of CISF staff. The latest pink line will make you want to smash your head, it's everything what you don't expect from a public transit system. Newly opened station under pink line (which is going to be largest stretch in Delhi Metro). This metro runs almost parallel to ring road. Station is in underground. Soon this station will have amphitheater and its office complex above metro station. Newly started, Cleaned and well developed. Most important thing is it's connectivity. As it is situated near by the Railway station, Bus Stand And Auto Stand. You will find a lots number of shops near by this station, even mandi is just away of 2 min distance where you can get fresh vegetable as reasonable price. Overground metro station. 4 access to the station. 2 in both sides of the road. Elevator is available for wheelchair accessibility. Better get an smartcard to avoid standing in queue.after checking, you will enter into the base of the station. Tickets available at the concourse level. Paid parking is available. Paid restrooms are available. Neat and clean

The Indraprastha  ( इन्द्रप्रस्थ) Metro Station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.

Indraprastha  ("Plain of Indra" or "City of Indra") is mentioned in ancient Indian literature as a city of the Kuru Kingdom. It was the capital of the kingdom led by the Pandavas in the Mahabharata epic. Under the Pali form of its name,  Indapatta, it is also mentioned in Buddhist texts as the capital of the Kuru mahajanapada. It is often thought to have been located in the region of present-day New Delhi, particularly the Old Fort (Purana Qila), although this has not been conclusively confirmed. The city is sometimes also known as Khandavaprastha, the name of a forest region on the banks of Yamuna river which (according to the Mahabharata) had been cleared to build the city.
