Head Strong Idiot's are running the show at the IGL. Absolutely slap stick Services. No Customer Or Vendor centric approach. They're in their own world. Employees think that their job is secured as they're employed.
The Policy of "Perform or Fired" Should be implemented. From my point of view of - IGL should sold to private entity ASAP, Either to Adani, Vedanta or Think Gas (Noida). GAIL should divest their stake from IGL immediately.
हाथी के दांत दिखाने के और खाने के और। जिन से धंधा चलता है यानि की उपभोक्ता, उनके लिए एक किराये की भीड़-भाड़ बाली दुकान की सेकंड फ्लोर में धक्के खाने पड़ते हैं पार्किंग तो भूल ही जाएं ऊपर से disconnection noc लेने के लिए बापुधाम igl के पैट्रोल पम्प पर जाओ जहां के लिए कोई पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट नहीं है। इतनी बड़ी विलंडिंग में ग्राहकों के लिए एक ही छत के नीचे सारी सुविधाएं क्यों उपलब्ध नहीं हो सकती है?
I didn't exactly visit IGL bhawan. I went to my relatives home who have goverment quarter here. All in all the place was good and most importantly super clean.
Pathetic company, bad grievance redressal mechanism, ticket closes without resolving issues, ousources the installation job to inexperienced rowdy type contractors who do whatever they feel is right with least concern for customer and safety,
Its very bad service. I applied for Govt Allotted connection through online on 01 Aug 20 and till date no gas supply to my house where already meter and pipe line is installed. More than 20 times I contacted to IGL customer care on phone and email but most of the time wrong information provided. Its ridicules.

New customer acquisition team is good but very Very poor service team. No one comes to collect meter reading. Customer complaint or request is closed without actual resolution. May be worst service or customer care Dept in India or in a Govt company. Corporate office should look at putting competent guys in Customer service department
Corporate office of Indraprastha Gas Limited, Indias' largest CGD company with reach in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and some parts of UP, Rajasthan and Hariyana. Provide CNG and PNG. Office is at walking distance from Moti Bagh metro station and easily reach with DTC bus and cab and with private vehicle. Parking is limited here. Cooperative staff, and they also have a nearby customer service center for PNG users.

Big office with no parking available for visitors so you have to park out side any where you find space. People are too slow. Staff is not that friendly.
IGL is a morally and professionally bankrupt company. Its agent visited our house at Rohini, Delhi in Dec 2017, and asked if we are interested in gas connection. He said it will take around 15 days for installation and around 6000/ is the security deposit. I was reluctant initially, but then I said yes, and handed him the security deposit bank check. Following that finally in May 2018 installation was done after a gap of nearly 6 months. Needless to say, during this 6 months period I made many calls to their help line number but their executive provide everything but HELP!
In the last week of April, after much pleading and regular calls to them, they informed that within a few days we will assign a contractor to do the installation and gave his number.
The contractor who was to do the installation threatened me: you can complain to anybody you like but I wont do the installation before 2 weeks. Although the installation has been done now but the connection is still not active. Now we are waiting for the person who will activate the connection.
This company is not accountable to any government regulator. There is no one to whom you can approach for your grievances. There is no provision of an appellate authority or ombudsman. I don't know who have made them above the law of the land. The petroleum ministry apparently is sleeping. I wish the law of karma eventually takes over and put IGL in the league of Blackberry, Enron.
