Jain Coffee House

It's a very old and dilapidated shop. I wasn't expecting much when I visited here. But their Fruit Sandwich turned out to be a star. You can also get the sandwich toasted by specifically asking for it. Also liked the coffee here. The price might feel a little on the higher side. But overall, this is a must try place when in Chawri Bazar.

Looks like an old 1960-70's place. Here you feel like time stopped since decades also not easy to find this place using maps inside a narrow street.

In perspective of food, Sandwiches are rare, you couldn't find easily all around in Delhi, coffee is OK.
Overall bit costly, you can give one try.

The fruit sandwiches and chais here are very good. It is the only place selling fruit sandwiches that I know of. The shop is very old, not fancy and the prices are good too.

All items of the shop are fantastic. There are two types of Sandwich available here, one is sweet and other is salty. Both the sandwiches are good. Coffee is also very good.

This place is one of the hidden gems of Old Delhi. Locating it is a little bit difficult though. It's situated just opposite poddar cards street, chawri bazar. There's no name board or signage over there. It's just a normal tea stall and the ambience is just modest.

However, the USP of this place is fruit sandwiches. I tried mango sandwich which was excellent. It contained mango, grapes and paneer slices along with jam. It's a unique sandwich which is not available anywhere else. I also had cold coffee which was just passable.

Do try this place if you are in chawri bazar.

Mind blowing restaurant for sandwiches. It is dam cheap, excellent quality, fresh and huge variety. But the sitting is just roadside.
Must visit.

Jain Coffee House is one of the oldest shop in Chawri Bazar, Delhi-6. This outlet is famous for its fruit sandwiches and shakes. Mostly known for mixed Fruit sandwich. The best thing about this place is you can feel the old Delhi vibes at this place. The shop is still in the old style. The owner of the shop is so down to earth and they always serve the best quality always. They prepare your food/sandwiches or shakes in front of you. Prices are reasonable and worth the money.

This place is a jewel in the crown of ChandaniChowk, famous for its fruit sandwiches, Jain brothers till date make real fruit chutney for their sandwiches. Must try are mix fruit sandwich, paneer grilled sandwich clubbed coffee. Taste best with friends & families.

This place is a hidden gem. They make some delicious brain freshning cold coffee and some amazing Fruit sandwiches. Yep, you heard me right. Had their Mixed Fruit Sandwiches and loved it. Place is a core vintage. Even if you look at the ceiling, you'll fell those vibes. Overall, a must visit place for Breakfast. I bet You'll love it.

I would rather give it a 3 start as the quality of the sandwich I really did not like much, though it was first time I found fruit sandwich from here.the place is also situated at a narrow lane and difficult to find too.

I goto this place always and remember it by the name of Jain sandwiches!

The owner is very down to earth and will make and serve you whatever you want it love.

One of the oldest shop in Delhi. Try fruit sandwich. The best and filling. Coffee is typical shaadi wali coffee. A must try.

Small old style place but very tasty sandwich are available here. I tried vegetable one it is worth the money I spent on it.

This place has made it's way on my list of overrated eatries. I have been here twice and haven't been able to find anything unusual in their sandwiches or coffee.
The seating area of this place is a mess with no more than 3-4 tables has no cleanliness at all.
I've had their fruit sandwich and a veg sandwich, which tasted okay just basic fruit sandwich nothing special although he says he uses kesar chutney in it but couldn't taste it even though I could see orange colour chutney on bread slice. The quantity is good but are overpriced.
The way how they make it is not at all hygienic and even the fruits that they use are not fresh. The workers don't properly wash hands and touch everywhere while making your sandwich.

And above all this the behaviour of the owner and workers is very rude, he did not allow me to take a pic of his sandwiches being prepared and said that in a very rude as if I was doing something wrong, and that is when a famous instagrammer had his sandwich making video on their page just a day before, so I suppose he only lets the famous ones who tell him about their insta take pics and videos so as to gain popularity and his shop is running just on hype.
