Taste is good and this is a famous place for late night hangout but you will always get too much crowd and on weekends looks like hell. Difficult to buy anything there and place looks like free langar every weekend night. Place is happening and close to metro station and cannaught place.
Jain chawal wale is next to the Janpath in Delhi, you can get a lot of food options apart from rajma chawal, Taste is normal only which u can get at any other place.
Overrated. I tried Rajma Chawal & bedmi puri, the taste was good not so special just normal. You don’t have to go special there to try because not extraordinary taste just normal which you can get at any other outlet.
Jain Chawal Wala in Delhi is an amazing place for vegetarian food! Their dishes are flavorful and delicious, and they have a great variety of Jain-friendly options. The service is friendly and the ambience is cozy. I highly recommend trying their chawal dishes, they are simply mouthwatering!
It's a quiet popular among Delhi people as a street food spot. As its name suggests a pure vegetarian food point with good in taste and quantity. You will love this place for vegetarian food.
Jain Chawal Wale, CP, Delhi serves finger-licking comfort food bursting with flavours and at times, lots of butter. Specialist in making killer chole Bhature and rajma Chawal and that too extremely affordable. It's a small dhaba type outlet so don't come with an expectation something fancy.they have tall tables where you can stand and eat your food
The restaurant offers everything from paranthas and rice dishes to pakodas and even a few Indian influenced Chinese dishes.
This is just on the shivaji stadium. Very nice food but you have to stand and eat. It is very crowded and nice place.
Wonderful tasting fresh food, piping hot. If you don't mind standing and eating (since it is a roadside joint with tables on the footpath where you can place your food plate).
Cover photo is shown with Onion and mentioned as no onion no garlic food. May kindly make the necessary corrections for the spread of true information.
Best cheap and affordable place to eat food. You can find a wide variety of all veg items. The only drawback is there is no place to sit and eat you can either stand and eat or pack. But I would recommend you should order from Zomato where you can relax in your home and eat.
Funnieat part is the name " JAIN CHAWAL WALA " and jain people serving onions
You can enjoy all tastey and delicious vegetarian food famous in Delhi all on one spot in Jain Restaurant near Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, Delhi. Mostly all dishes are costly (higher then normal price) but quality and taste is good. Prices are higher because of the restaurant is in Connaught Place. But still for many items prices are almost double and quantity is less like Paw Bhaji. Also you can order through Zomato.
While our stay at Delhi, we ate 3 times here. The food quality is nice, the quantity that they give is ample.
However I didn't like the service and environment. I would suggest that they install Fans, proper tables and a organised counter for taking orders, as while taking orders there's is a lot of rush. Furthermore the place needs a bit cleanliness too. At last I would say its a good place to eat but they need to make the EXPERIENCE more better.
The Paneer Paratha and Gobi Parathas were very delicious and Prices are also very normal. At least I found something no onion no garlic there. Thank you so much for serving No onion no garlic foods also.
Great street food. Chholr bhature werr quite good and curry is famous. Would like to try dal makhni butter naan next time. The only issue is it is quite crowded which is unsafe these days.
Jain chawal wala is worth a try, food is good, specially rajma chawal, it is simple and good, for those who are in case wondering about the location, it is on the alley opposite to the rivoli.
Very bad quality food.does not worth of Rs. 70 per plate of rajma chawal.it's better go to shankar market, CP, Dhaba food if you like to eat rajma chawal.
When we were returning from Gurgaon at midnight we did not find any Dhabas all were closed and we were very hungry. Lastly our driver told us that no need to lose hope and he took us to this restaurant which is open 24 hrs.and finally we had some hot fast food. Here you get rice and paratha items and many more plus the rate is very reasonable.
Even on a normal day there are hoards of people lining up for some excellent food. Service is quick and taste sumptuous. Classic are the Rajma-rice and kadhi-rice, but lots of options in both sweet and savoury. Prices are such that it doesn't hit the pocket too much and to add surrounding area is bustling and there is always plenty to do.
Jain Chawal wala shows how a dish traditionally from Western Punjab of undivided India have gained so much popularity in India. The shop is located in CP, and is in P-Black very near to Khadi India. I must go shop for foodies travelling and loving in Delhi
Ohhh. This was the place i was missing for so long. The hot rajma chawal served here with papad and onion is just the right thing one can ask for on a chilly weather. This place is usually crowded but ensures fast service. There are no seating arrangement in the hotel, though there are couple of tables outside the place where you can eat which all in all adds the signature experience of the restaurant. There are plenty of options in the menu including kadhi chawal, chole bhature, chole chawal but i have only had rajma chawal here. Must visit if you are in and around CP. This place has been awarded best rajma chawal place in Delhi for a lot t many years.
Jain Restaurant by name its not famous in CP but if you ask someone Rajma Chawal opposite PVR Rivoli you are bang ON!
This place is famous among foodies for serving delicious and sumptuous north indian food at affordable prices. Its a road side shop with standing tables outside where you can stand and enjoy your mouth watering food. Its open till late at night people park their vehicle in front of this shop and eat in their vehicles as well.
Now lets talk about food they serve Rajma Chawal, Kadi Chawal Chole Chawal, Paranthas and many more in snacks one can find samosa, Bread Pakora, pakore etc but their most famous dish is rajma chawal served with achaar and papad.
So just head their and enjoy specially in the evenings.
Open almost at all hours. Serves rajma chawal, kadhi chawal, palak paneer chawal, some naan and sabzi combos. Food is fresh. Their bread pakra in the morning breakfast menu is also great.
It is a nice place to hang out to get the taste of local nort Indian snacks and quick bite. Like pakoda, bhature, rajma chawal. There is very small place to sit, mostly you need to stand and eat. It is self service. Me and my friend asked for pakoda and kachodi with subzi, but those were given to us in cold state in Winter.
We went there for quick drive thru lunch. We were in hurry so quickly ordered paneer rice along with nimbu lemon. I felt the taste was average. It is a little hyped place and the taste is not that good.
Tried this place because of its hype about its rajma chawal but honestly I felt it was over hyped after trying their rajama chawal. They aren’t any extraordinary just the pretty average rajma chawal you can get anywhere. Genuine review you won’t find any extra ordinary taste probably your mom make it better at home.
Jain chawal wale is on opposite to pvr rivoli. It's a very old shop in starting they have only chawal chole and rajma chawal but there is to much variety. There is small area of sitting but most of the people's park there car outside the shop. It's different thing that it's no parking zone. So it's suggested not to leave your vehicle empty. With it you can get best shakes of keventers milk shakes. After eating lovely food you can enjoy chocolate, strawberry shakes. Rates are reasonable and service is good.
