The scene below metro station was not pleasant but the Jamia milia University was far far better than I expected.

Jamia Millia Islamia is a renowned central university in India with a rich history and a diverse range of academic programs. If a "Centinery Gate" has been established, it may be in commemoration of the university's centenary (100-year) celebration.

Amazing nature beautiful place every place is neat and clean islamic culture which is attract everyone more and more ️

Really like the staff. But in cash counter you must give the exact money which you have to pay because they get irritated. And if you are cricket football in short sports lovers you must check the 5th floor.

This is best beautiful, clean supportive environment university. These Teachers student & staff are very helpful

Every guys are too helpful in this college. There is zero Ragging in this college and lots of society and clubs here like drama society, dance club, music club, buisness club

As a student of jmi it's been a responsibility to add some review about it, I would say over the time you will get use to to all, nothing like which can bother, except studies.

This univerity holds the record to give some of the best students to India. Very cool environment. Canteen is not so good and library needs little improvement. Else everything is good. The campus, security, faculty everything. It also has a metro station nearby on magenta line by the name of JAMIA MILIA ISLAMIA which can be reached throu its link on botanical garden and rajauri raden and you can also reach to college from sukhdev vihar metro station.

One of the most beautiful public university of Delhi and India. The campus is very well located and is easily accessible through public transport such as metro. The ambience is very vibrant and positive. One of the finest mass media and civil services coaching institute are located within the premises. The university also boasts of impressive alumni base. The sport facility is also one of the best in the city except for swimming pool.

Awesome central university with huge green campus and lively environment. Infrastructure is also good plus canteens are there to eat and drink softdrinks.

I have been here with my friend for some work. This is one of the best universities in India and located in South Delhi, campus is also good.

Very nice camping ground sincere students. Students are very enthusiastic and adventurous. Met all the NCC officers. Dinner being very tasty and unforgettable. And excellent drill of NCC cadets.

My alma mater. Each second I spent here is precious for my entire life. Jamia widened my outlook towards India and its culture.

Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university in Delhi. It was established during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliamentin 1988. Sir Sarwar Jung of Delhi designed the University.
The campus is distributed over a large area. Many of its buildings are being modernized. Greenery is supported and advocated.
The university was established by Muslim leaders and freedom fighters in 1920, before Indian independence. Among the founding leaders, the main were the Ali brothers,  Mohammad Ali Jouhar and Shaukat Ali.

Abul Kalam Azad, the nationalist leader of the Indian National Congress, was one of its main initial patrons.

Mohammad Ali Jouhar became Jamia’s first Vice Chancellor.

Zakir Husain took over the university in its turbulent times in 1927 and guided it through all the difficulties. After his death, he was buried on the campus of the University where his mausoleum is open to the public.
