World class campus, top class institute. I have studied here. And i really miss this place. This campus offers faar better facilities than many well known corporations. Students from all over India study here. Many amenities like sports club, gym, swimming pool etc are free to access for students. Area of campus is huge.

The professors are highly qualified in their respective fields and provide students with valuable insights, guidance, and support. Currently, in 2022, JNU ranking is no 2 in the category of university ranking by NIRF. Wonderful campus of the University all kind of facilities are present here. Several hostels are on campus. There is a hostel for a PhD.scholar and a married scholar also. These are Brahmaputra hostel and Mahanadi hostel, respectively. Recently, on 10 March 2023, the university organized convocation for PhD.graduates. In this program, our respectable president was the chief guest. Centre for the Study of Regional Development is one of the pioneer centre of the university. This centre represents a number of professors throughout the country along with a number of IAS officers who serves his/her country with respect.

मैने अपनी जिंदगी के पांच साल यहां बिताए हैं क्योंकि मेरे डैड यहां के कर्मचारी थे। बीच बीच में विवाद आते रहते हैं, लेकिन हमारे यहां पर आखिरी डेढ़ साल लॉकडाउन में निकल गए इसलिए काफी शांति थी। यहां के जंगल बहुत ही बढ़िया हैं। बीच बीच में नीलगाय, मोर, साही और गीदड़ भी दिखाई देते हैं। यहां का खाना बहुत अच्छा है और वैसे तो हम यहां से चले गए हैं, लेकिन अब भी हम अरावली अतिथिगृह से खाने जरूर आते हैं। मुझे अपनी पूरी जिंदगी में उतनी शांति नहीं मिली जितनी यहां मिल सकी।

All the teachers are well educated and reputed personalities. The curriculum is obviously relevant and it makes students ready for industry. Even teachers are always on foreign trips for giving lectures in the workshops. And most of them even work with higher authorities.

The quality of food provided in mess is good and it has varieties too. The meal menu is such that all communities people can adjust to it. I am satisfied with the quality and taste of the food provided in the mess and their menu. At the end of each month there is special dinner.

During the discussion that followed, Bhushan Gupta, member of parliament, voiced the opinion that this should not be yet another university. New faculties should be created, including scientific socialism, and one thing that this university should ensure was to keep noble ideas in mind and provide accessibility to students from weaker sections of society. The JNU Bill was passed in Lok Sabha on 16 November 1966 and the JNU Act came into force on 22 April 1969.

The Indian School of International Studies was merged with the Jawaharlal Nehru University in June 1970. Following the merger, the prefix "Indian" was dropped from the name of the School and it became the School of International Studies of the Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Very spacious, and big big campus, offers almost all courses, here, faculty and staff is really good,

Jawahar Lal Nehru University i.e (JNU), New Delhi (India) is one the most reputed universities globally. This university has produced many topmost political figures, economists, social workers etc. But, of late, unfortunately this university remains in news for all the wrong reasons. Be it disruption in studies or raising anti-India slogans, this university has seen it all during the last couple of years. One reason is - this university has traditionally been the citadel of left leaning ideology and now that a strong right wing competition is emerging, which is leading to confrontation. Hopefully things are stabilising now, with the realisation of emerging reality by stakeholders.

The JNU campus is surrounded with dense green cover which must be acting as pure oxygen factory not only for the campus insiders, but also for surrounding city areas as well. JNU Library is also known for its treasure of books, and student community prefers to spend lot of their time studying and analysing here.

Basically it's the ring road. JNU charm and beauty has it's own variations in diffrent seasons. Here its the rainy season! Its one most beautiful scenic route you will find dwelling here!

The University is situated on rocky, undulating terrain in a hilly, forested region, and was therefore carefully planned along the slope in terraces. The natural landscape merges seamlessly with the built environment, keeping in mind the rich biodiversity of the ridge along which it is located. The use of brick was an integral part of the overall vision, as it had become of symbol of indigenous modernism in Indian architecture at the time. The fact that it is environment friendly, low cost and locally available made it ideal for such large scale use. The design emphasized the importance of natural lighting, ventilation and passive cooling.
The campus is home to six academic blocks, a 10 storeyed library building, a conference, lecture and theater complex, administrative center, student activity center and 16 residential sectors, each comprising of hostel facilities for 600 students and 150 faculty residences and above all a pool of highly qualified Teachers.
In a nutshell, JNU is epitome of Progressivism.

Name is enough. I don't think I should review this place. But this is one of the best university I have every visited. Campus is very big and green. You will feel close to nature here.

A great university under duress in the recent times. One of the most respected institutions of the country which has become the epicenter of controversy since the university attempts to resist the abject change in policies by the current administration. The university is central to the present government's attempt to polarise the Indian citizens in order to garner votes for the upcoming elections. There is no university that plays a more important role in Indian politics.

Apart from the politics and the debates that are part and parcel of the university. The wildlife in the campus is nothing like the rest of Delhi except maybe for the number of stray dogs. The scenery is beautiful.

I've been here for quite some time. This is an amazing place to study, live, chill and make friends with.
Every place in the campus serves amazing food and the students are really cooperative.
The hostels are a little congested but that's fine as the whole campus is lush green and gives you a lot of space and peace.
Love this place. Just love it!

This is the place where you feel out side of delhi. There is no crowding, no ranging, only natural things.

From a visitors perspective-
Absolutely humungous place with lush greenery and top notch government facilities. Very well maintained premises. Vast variety of cuisine are available at dirt cheap rates especially local delicacies of rural areas mostly from eastern parts of India. Sculptures, slogans, murals and graffiti are scattered across the entire campus giving it a very politically active look and feel.
It's easy to visit if you know someone inside. A very cosmopolitan crowd creates an interesting sight.
I visited during election night when the environment was charged with political hyperbole. Leftists and rightists were blaring their propaganda in loud noise. Truly a unique experience.
