Joey's Hostel

My experience at Joey's Hostel was overwhelmingly positive. From the vibrant atmosphere to the attentive staff and comfortable accommodations, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Joey's Hostel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the city.

Dude there's having a good time and then there's playing music at 1230 am with 11, am listed quiet hours when multiple guests have asked to keep it down. Its disgusting just like these greasy pillows. I stayed here 5 years ago and this place has gone way down hill. Basically a majority of long stay locals and a few backpackers. The staff literally don't gaf about anything but their hang.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. Very good atmosphere. The hostel is close to the metro for easy access to the city center! I recommend

It was ok! Photos looks nice but the reality is other one. Room smell bad, bathroom no really clean. Good location and the staff really friendly!

When I first time came to India (8 years ago) I crashed in Joey's, the hostel was new, staff was amazing, location is perfect in my opinion. I came back to India around a month ago, and I came back to this hostel wich is a really good one for the atmosphere, location and staff, but I have to say that is really dirty, sheets are disgusting, stink, the matresses got old and are really uncomfortable, pillows.if u can call em pillows.rooms and beds are really packed.too much I'd say, everything got old but it seems they don't care, hostel is allways full, and I think it lost the essence from the begginings, it used to be an oasis in the middle of Delhi, quiet, fresh, clean and runed by an amazing staff, still now 0 complains about the staff.just please if u are making a lot of money with all the travelers, invest some of this money to keep this hostel in conditions, greed is allwsys bad.

Joey's hostel was perfect for a solo traveler or just a budget accommodation. It was very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful they helped me to book my train tickets to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. They helped me with a bunch of little things. I recommend saying here!

Washrooms bad and smelly. The staff was rude and not good. There was a electricity cut. There was some AC timings for the Indians and not for foreigners

It's a friendly place for staying long period of time.people are very joyful and place is also happening.rooms are okay okay but over all ambience and atmosphere is good. It's a good place for extrovert people.

If accounting indian standards of hygiene, cleanliness and service, compared to average hotel in slums, this place is brilliant, leaving the feeling of safety and comfort within overpopulated capital.
Though placed in dirty slum district, it is very close to Laxmi Nagar metro station.
Counter works 24 hours.
Atmosphere inside is in the best spirit of european backpackers hostels. Walls are completely covered with hundreds of massages and drawings of travellers from all corners of the planet.
Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful, with perfect knowing of english. There are comfy and cozy common zones on 2 and 3 floors. Small kitchen with electric kettle, small electric stove, drinking water and toasters provide opportunity to prepare simple healthy breakfast. Washroom is big, comfortable and clean. There are male and female dormitories and bathrooms which is quite reasonable and valuable in modern India conditions.
I stayed only for 4 hours due to late train and early bus, but still enjoyed the vibe of the place.

They go above and beyond to make your time in Delhi worthwhile by leading unconventional and personalized tours through the city's highlights. Due to this, they're able to foster community between travelers very quickly.

I've been avoiding Delhi for some time now, but being at Joey's has helped me appreciate this city.

The stay was convinient but the location was a little bit hideous (from a girl's point of view). The rooms and washrooms were neat and tidy. The house keeping services could have been better. The metro station near the hostel makes your travel easy peasy. Over all it was a good and comfortable stay. Will recommend it for sure.

Previously they were quite good in terms of hospitality and management but now they only want to hike their beds and rooms price.not recommending at all

Can definitely recommend. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Daily tours are 10/10 for seeing Delhi, and meeting the other guests. Room AC, fans, and curtains all great, as well as common room, terrace and bathrooms. An very easy to reach by metro from the airport no problem. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Delhi!

Was there for a day...
Very arrogant lady staff, never prepared to help. I didn't get a safe place to keep my bag and the response that I got was, will sort in the morning! No one showed up till I checked out.
Bathroom is all average but they are trying to keep it neat by cleaning it often, happy about that.
Rooms are average, the bed side light switches need fixing.
Happiness was that I was able to meet few people there...

Rooms are OK.but common area and all the other activity which are provided in other Backpackers are so lame.
Try not go, if you do not find other than u can try!

Great hostel with awesome view on the Taj Mahal.
The breakfast for 150 rupees was quite okay and the single room which I stayed in was nice. Would gladly stay here again!
We also did a walking tour to a nice sunset point with a view of the Taj Mahal, which was really nice!

One of the best hostel i came across.
No matter if you are traveling solo or in grup you are going to make frnd there.
They will simply amazing.

Joey's Hostel is one of the best hostel chains right now in the Hostel business. They care about their customers and look after them. Kudos to their staff and the service they provide. My experience was marvelous. I had initially booked a 6-bed dorm but due to some fault in their system they had to give me a 12 bed dorm for the first day. Right now you would be thinking why would I give them such high praises, but the real service starts after that. They apologised for the technical glitch and upgraded me in a 4- bed dorm for my remaining stay. The fact that they helped me and coordinated with me at every point shows how much they value their customers. It was a comfortable stay, the environment is always chill and comfy and above than that generally washrooms and toilets are dirty but not in case of Joey's. They also provide breakfast and snacks for people who have cravings at night.
Loved the hostel and stay, looking forward to visit again

Great place to stay if you're on a budget and want to experience the true Delhi vibe. I did manage to get my work done too without any disturbance and with proper bandwidth. Recommended!

Not so much good. Its too hot but ac is not working in day time on third floor. Never ever select this hostel if you are getting room on third floor. Its like Indian railway sleeper class without AC even in May-june hot weather. Staff behaviour is just okay okay.only first and second floor is good to stay in this hostel.

Worst hostel, no proper ac working. Best find hostels/hotels near paharganj area. Joey's hostel staff keeps ac switch off most of time even in hot weather of june/July month. Staff (pavan) behaviour is not proper.
Only good things is common area.

Just one word for my stay worst.worst.worst.worst.staff were also so unfriendly.why the hell they been this rude.room were so smelly and bathroom stinky.i love to travel but its my baddest experience ever.suggest to pass the time on any station platform rather going here. WORST. STAY

Location is super close to metro station.
A lot of places to get street food.
Employees are super nice, helpfull and try to make your experience in Delhi better.
They organize daily activities and it is an easy hub to meet a lot of other traveller's.
Definitely would stay again.

Worst! Worst! Worst! I suggest better to sleep on any railway platform than this. Why the hell all staff behaviour so rude. Smelling dom' just the connectivity is ok ok but overall worst ever.

An amazing place to be in if youre travelling solo or in a group, one gets to interact and mingle with a lot of people, they also provide good service and try to get the problems sorted as soon as possible if they arise and Overall it was very fun and comfortable place to be in.

Joey's hostel is the place to be in dehli. Dhruuv, Aiman and gang make it an epic experience. Free tours, good vibes, free breakfast, roof terrace/chill spot. Super helpful and friendly staff. 10/10 recommend. Hold tight chin may khalil HP and the mandem

The experience has been amazing always with joyes hostel. The vibe and the way they manage is commendable. Mr. Honey at the desk makes it easy for everyone.

Great place!
Hospitality is also great. If you plan to come to delhi then this is a perfect place to stay be it solo or with friends. The dorm is very neat and tidy. Service is also amazing. This place is near to laxmi nagar metro station which is really accessible.

Cons:

Not much. No in-house restaurant, cleanliness and hygiene is average. Although Bathroom were clean and hot water was available instantly. Overall a good place.

Amazing hosts, perfect location which is in city center, community kitchen, air conditioned rooms; perfect stay for travellers…

However little bit of maintenance is required for washrooms and common area ventilation.

This place is soooo lovely. I always prefer ghis place whenever i come to Delhi. It's very homely and quite.

One of the best hostels to stay in Delhi.pocket friendly.the bed was comfortable and had curtains. All staff is good and helpful.

Worst hostel in delhi. Full of bedbugs and mosquitos. Very dirty. Not safe for women. Staff Govind is rude and behaves very badly with everyone.

I've become a huge fan of this hostel. Thanks to my friend who suggested this hostel. It's an affordable and well-maintained hostel not like other hostels. Try this kinda experience 1st time and can say that I could easily pick this hostel next time either.

Dormatry with air conditioning and clean beds provided. Toilets are nice and clean. Hygiene is maintained and the place has a good vibe to it.

I stayed for 4 nights. I really liked to be live ther all among delhi Joey's is best and affordable with perfect staffs. The location is cool near to metro and easy to Travell around delhi. But Ther are some scammers also staying ther The person Called Ravi Inthe Hostel tell him as that he was the Hostel Owner's cousin and he doesn't even have any basic quantity.it's all not about any personal things am sharing what I experienced over ther. He will get food from You fr Good restaurants ask you to pay and he won't pay you back. And assolo Traveller I am traveling for more than 2 years and living in only hostels. The management want to kick out of this kind of people's. Exept this The hostel is Good.

I have visited Joey's in Delhi. This place is quite happening and affordable if you choose their dorms. You can use their induction to cook your own food. You can sit and watch TV or you can play games which they have stocked up at Joey's hostel.

People are friendly. You'll get to make new friends.

But the things which are disappointing is you have to arrange for your own food, no room service is available and cleanliness is not proper around the kitchen area.

Joey’s is a great hostel, such a lively hostel, unfortunately, I only stayed there for a night.
Very close to the metro line, has a lot of cheap eateries around, the staff are very helpful and the terrace is a nice place to hang around.

The dorms were clean, ventilated, kept cool, and timely!

It's very good hostel, faculties are very good and infrastructure is very super and you can easily reach here without and problem.environment are very good.

A bagpackers hostel in true sense. Well maintained rooms, comfortable and clean beds and the toilets are kept clean most of the time. A very good common area to sit, relax and interact with other travellers. They organize different events and parties for fellow bagpackers. Just make sure to take care of your belongings. Location is perfect since it's located just 500-600 metres from Laxmi Nagar Metro Station.

Perfect backpackers hostel. Cool place and the staffs are ridiculously helpful, stayed here for a few nights and loved it. Joey's made the place into a real nice and cozy spot to hangout. You will meet awesome people from all around the world. Absolutely recommendable

The staff is literally the best. I had come to stay for a day but apparently I liked the environment so much that I extended my trip for 3 days and made good friends as well.:) They are very warm and helpful. They will make sure you enjoy to the T! The best part was the evenings on the rooftop. We played beer pong on one day, chilled while listening to great music! They keep regularly organising events. Perhaps, the beds very also very comfortable and the washrooms were very clean too. They treat you very well. I would definitely come back again!

This is my first hostel experience and I love it at the first time itself. Very friendly and helpful staff. They are not staff, more like friends and family.

Fantastic, wonderful place. A hostel highlight of India. The staff are amazing and super friendly. Delhi can be intimidating for a lot of tourists first coming here, especially when travelling solo, but Cherry and Nabeel put on great tours all the time to get you comfortable with the city and discover things you wouldn't have on your own. I suggest this place to anyone I know going to Delhi. Also super comfy beds with curtains.

Everyone here is positive and the crew are super helpful, they'll assist you with what to do on the rest of your travels, they'll warn you of things to beware of, and then at the end of the day they'll relax and chat with you! So good!

Joey's was a great place to stay at in new Delhi. The staff are really nice and helpful with planning the rest of our itinerary in India. They also offer daily tours for a good price. The tours allow you to get to know the city better with a local who knows all the best food stops etc. The hostel was clean and secure. The breakfast was decent for a hostel. We originally booked a 12 bed mixed dorm but got moved to a private 6 bed dorm and our 3 roommates didn't come home all night!

Nice stay and great vibe for a stay in Delhi. Guided tours were great as well and great guide for seeing Delhi. Will come back on every day ️️

Really sick hostel! Laid back for guests yet still really organized. I only passed through here but the guys who work here are super friendly and legends, rooms are brilliant with plenty of amenities, AC, lights, curtains. Definitely recommend this place over others I've stayed in in Delhi!
