But it is, I think the busiest station because of 3 lines interchanging here.

Kashmere Gate is a gate located in Delhi, it is the northern gate to the historic walled city of Delhi. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the gate is so named because it was at the start of a road that led to Kashmir.
Now it is also the name of the surrounding locality in North Delhi, in the Old Delhi area, and an important road junction as the Red Fort, ISBT and Delhi Junction railway station lie in its vicinity.

Oh well, Kashmere Gate. You can find a metro to 3 states from here. You're already in Delhi, Red line takes you to Far end of Delhi at rithala from Mohan Nagar while the other yellow line takes you from Samarpit Badli to Far north to Haryana at Huda city centre.

Kashmiri Gate is known for being a transit station for Metro/Buses. As crowded as it may seem at almost each hour of the day. The outlets at Kashmiri Gate (KG) are a bliss! You have to be willing to get down from the metro is all. You'll find McDonald's, Burger King, Domino's, Wow Momos, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Chaayos, WHSmith, and so much more. If you are an adventurer who likes rajma chawal at the best transport dhabas, you also get one of these near ISBT. There used to be the best golgappe wala in the city at KG exit 5. He served 5 Golgappas in 5 different flavors (each to die for) for 10 Rupees per plate. I can't wait to have him back. You just have to be willing to experiment at KG. It's nothing like elegant cafes one usually visits, but if you're craving a bite on the go. This might be it! Go ahead try it out, it won't disappoint.

This metro station is very crowdly because this station is connecting to 3 metro lines, Yellow, Red and Violet line. This station is very big and very old. There are many of shops inside the station mostly food shops like McDonald's. ATM is also here. There are many gates to go out of the station. Kashmiri gate ISBT is also nearby.

Biggest metro station in New Delhi. Here Red, Violet and Yellow Line intersect. Whole Station is very neat and clean place. I noticed one thing in every metro station in Delhi Everything is in manner and discipline I'm impressed so much. Just Outside the station you have the ISBT. I visited many times here.
