Kendriya Vidyalaya INA Colony

My two sons study in this school and I think I may attempt an honest review. Well, I won't say this is the best school (every school is best for it's students/teachers and perfection is a myth!). But when we compare Government Schools, I opine that Kendriya Vidyalayas are better placed compared to other Government Schools both in terms of studies as well as extra-curricular activities. Every teacher in KV is well qualified/trained and is selected through very tough recruitment examination process of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (an autonomous body under Ministry of Education). The infrastructure is quite good and fee is nominal. Further, there is overall monitoring of each and every KV by the Sangathan (KVS) and its Regional Offices. No wonder, Kendriya Vidyalayas are popular not only among Government officials but also in non-government people (though admission of children, parents of whom are not Government officials, is very difficult in KV and is subject to availability of seats only.
2. Now, as far as KV-INA is concerned; the school is located in excellent location, adjacent to the lush ambience of Thyagraj Park and near INA Bus Stand and Metro Station. Safdarjung Bus Terminal and Lodi Colony Railway Station are also walking distance only. The infrastructure is quite good. A new building is also being built, but is said to be incomplete by CPWD. The teachers are really good and knowledgeable who are always caring and considerate towards the students. The school has improved and progressed a lot during last few years.
