La Piazza

I recently visited La Piazza with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The food quality was subpar, lacking the freshness and flavor I anticipated from an establishment of this caliber.
To make matters worse, both my dining companion and I experienced severe discomfort, leading to vomiting. This raises serious concerns about the hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. It's disheartening when a dining experience becomes memorable for the wrong reasons.
I hope La Piazza takes this feedback seriously and considers reevaluating its culinary standards and hygiene practices. I believe every diner deserves a positive and safe experience, and I trust the restaurant will take necessary steps to improve.

Love it. It’s a total different experience…there’s nothing better than pizzas in a buffet.

After 15 days in India it was a much needed Italian boost for my stomach. Excellent location, excellent ingredients, pizza not the best like the Italian one but certainly excellent for trying some flavour. Very high price but we are still in a high quality Italian restaurant.

There were many menus. I ordered risotto and pasta, but the pasta was not my favorite style, so it didn't taste very good. It was dry because it didn't have much sauce. But the risotto was delicious. I should eat another menu next time. The service was good. The atmosphere is also luxurious.

Very overrated restaurant, ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara, they charge a hefty amount just for a plate of Spaghetti, which also was a very small portion, forget about getting any sides like Garlic bread, they don’t even have the decency to send the cutlery or tissues on the side. Never ordering from you again.

The service was outstanding, with staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciated the staff's attention to detail and the effort they put into ensuring diners had a memorable experience.

It’s a must try Italian restaurant- it may hurt the pocket and bust the budget if you are on one! - the experience was worth it!

Tiramisu was good but la piaza pizza was very bad. Also food is too expensive. For just 2 items my bill was 3200. They should reduce prices

Not a budget option, but the food is delicious. We tested pizza, lasagne and some other pasta and everything was cooked very well.

Usually I consider LA Piazza as a safe option when I don't know wer to eat or don't find reservation elesewer.but this time had a poor experience.

The olive and pesto Burrata Salad - had only burrata and barely any tomatoes or Olives.dressing was not upto the mark

The broccoli pesto pasta - very poor taste

Baked saffron ravioli - this was the only decent main course we found.

Service was absolutely horrid.the restaurant is not staffed well enuf to handle Saturday nights.

A suggestion to the service team.while you were helpful with orders, the basic courtesy is to give the menu card to the lady first and not the last.same goes while serving the dishes.last night we dined and ft that chivalry is dead guys.

The food was okay okay but the portions were small and it was severely overpriced. The rigatoni and pizza were not upto expectations. The food for 4 people and drinks costed us ₹11000 (with 25% discount). I would not suggest anyone to eat there. There are much better and less costly restaurants with much much better food.

Really hospitable waiters. Brilliant food, best pizza i’ve ever eaten. Excellent place for a date night. PS: Try to book the window tables in advance.

Best authentic Italian pizza you can find in Delhi!

I went there yesterday, the pizza was terrible, the cheese was not cooked properly but the staff was super polite so I didn't want to complain, then i had the pasta which was also undercooked and then I ordered the tiramisu and it was the only good thing in the entire meal, and now I've fallen sick because of the food, it's a shame they call it authentic Italian restaurant, worst experience of my life, and I'm never going back again, and btw
I spent 17000, for two people, extremely overpriced, below average food.

We ordered pizza & pasta, the pizza was nice not Neapolitan style but it was soft and the toppings were delicious! Now the pasta was super super delicious and aldente, tiramisu is also yummy and rich

Definitely an amazing place for lunch and/or dinner, with a wide variety of plates well cooked and delicious taste. The staff is very attentive and polite, always ready to provide you a great dinning experience.
The pizzas are delicious and the tiramisu.well you will have to try it.
You won't regret and for sure you will return.

They have the city’s best & the oldest pizzeria called La Piazza serving authentic Italian food. It’s inside the hotel. Everything on the menu is delicious & freshly made. Very hospitable, affordable, serve tasty food and ambience is good & friendly.

The service at this hotel and especially this restaurants is abysmal. I have been coming here for years because my family doesn’t mind it. We gave it another chance and they are consistent with their bad service. It was a Sunday brunch, we are paying more money but the service is atrocious. My waiter took 15/20 minutes to get a simple coffee so I went without a coffee as my son had to sleep. No level of decor, food can undo the absolute garbage experience of service experienced here. Take a page out of Oberoi’s book, Hyatt. Bye for now.

We used salad bar without main dishes. It comes with coffees. And per person it's 2400Rupees plus taxes. You can eat Italian salads and desert unlimited here.

Undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in the city. Must try the pizza la piazza, mushroom risotto, tiramisu.

Tucked away on one side of Hyatt Regency in Bhikaji Cama place in New Delhi, this restaurant was a surprise. Great ambience, amazingly delicious food and attentive staff made it a perfect evening for my dinner with my niece. With a wood burning oven, even their pizzas were great. The chef was very helpful with whipping up a pasta based on our suggested changes. Great place for that quiet and intimate date.

La piazza is the alias name for authentic italian. Best in the city no doubt in that. Must try the Pizza la piazza, risottos and my all time fav tiramisu

We ordered Affumicata pizza. However it was way too bland. We talked to the waiter. They changed the pizza and seasoned it with chilli peppers, white and black pepper and some other condiments. Service was decent. Will come back to try other dishes.

We had lunch here on 23 Nov 2019 at the invitation of Nishu Arora of Design Box. From fresh orange juice to pasta and pizza salad and Tiramisu everything was tasty and fresh

Food was very good and service at the table was good, but paying our bill was a mess. There was four of us eating and we requested seperate checks when we ordered. The servers completely messed up our check and we had to track them down to actually pay so we could leave. This took over 30 minutes and was still not fully corrected.

One of the best chocolate/pear cakes I have ever tried in my life. Pizza is ok (really thin, Roman style). Staff is really kind and attentive but prices are far too high. If your main concern is budget, don't come here.

Probably the best place for Italian cuisine in NCR. It has consistently maintained its standards for over 25 years. Being in a five star hotel the prices are on the higher side but the food is great.

25 yrs of excellent service at one of the finest Italian restaurant. They have a great selection of wines.

Went for Sunday brunch. I was highly impressed by the food and service. Our server made sure we tried everything; their system of serving from-pan-to-plate works really well.

Lovely place great atmosphere, but very poor value for money. Main course only had 6 pieces of Tortellini. Had to ask for black pepper and was not offered parmesan cheese. Poor service for the price.

Wonderful restaurant for perfect Pizza and pasta. This widely loved Italian restaurant in Delhi features a classic wood-fired oven, which lends a typical flavour to the pizzas. Service was impeccable. But the best part was the Tiramisu.

Wobbly table, over indulging servers and very run of the mill food.we had a pizza and a risotto. Tiramisu was sticky. Not a good experience.

So, there are some places that have a rich history and a great old vibe, that sometimes you visit, just makes you sit there and wander about the place itself and admire it's beauty. La Piazza, is easily one of those gem places in delhi. Opened in 1965, it has been an institution in serving some amazing authentic wood oven pizzas.

We for a chance to have lunch at the place and it was absolutely overwhelming!

Our Review

The food is very authentic and makes you actually wonder about how the quality of the ingredients used is completely out of this world.

In our meal, we were served quite a bit of varieties, starting with some salads. The salads at this are very different from what you usually have at other restaurants. It kind of reminded me of The American Diner, how authentic they make their dishes, it does not even feel that you just came here from the scorching heat of Delhi. Amazing salads!

Spaghetti - they have their in house preparation of the noodles used in spaghetti, and that just signifies the beauty of this place, the quality of ingredients are given the highest priority.

Their spaghetti was absolutely brilliant, and unlike any other that I've ever had! The noodles were really good and well made and the sauce was delicious.

Pizza - Well this is what I've been waiting for!

The pizzas at this place are mouth watering good and I'm damn sure once you have a pizza here, you're gonna crave for that taste for long long time. We had the chance to taste their most popular Margherita and it was fantastic. The base, the sauce, basil, olive oil, everything was a class apart. If I'll have to write the best thing about this place out of all it's history and time, well I'll have no second thought in saying it's their pizzas. It just makes you realise why this place has been such a cult and deserves that 25th anniversary!

I'm much aware of the prices of this place and how this surely isn't affordable dining, however, I'll recommend this just because of the experience you can have when you eat here and the flavors will take you a long place away, for sure!
