It’s a big crowded market and you would find multiple eateries and places to shop for clothes, jewellery, food and many more things. Reach in the morning around 11am because it needs time to explore nd on a weekday.

We tried dolma aunty ke momos. These were nice. Then had kulfi from a very old kulfi wala. Had golgappas too these were good. Ice gola was not good. Got a few woollen suits for Mom. These were good.
It’s very crowded so beware of your belongings. Parking is outside and you may have to walk a bit in case of huge footfall.

You will get everything here as per your budget, can get budget friendly to premium things, good for home decor

Very awesome experience. U will get clothes in very low price and theres a huge crowd for ear rings and clothes. Lajpat Nagar street food is so tasty. Take care of ur belongings and ur phone and purse as this place is very crowded.

Great place to shop with lovely cheap thrills like chaats and other snacks and well organised parking if u travelling by car.

I always love to shop in Lajpat Nagar market.every thing is available here. Shoes, clothes, bags, cosmetics, etc. Nice place to hang around.

It's a must visit market of Delhi. You can find everything here from A to Z. And if you are good at bargaining, then it's definitely good for you. There are many many local vendors settings fashion and girls stuff. Also there are showrooms of some brands. It's really crowded so take take of your belongings.

Stuffs are unnecessarily expensive. The same stuff you get in Sarojini for much cheaper price and the shopkeeper is difficult in negotiating but you should try out their street food cause it's amazing especially 'Ram ladoo'

Best place to Hangouts with friends and family, with great hustle bustle. Must visit. Must have Momo's from Avantika.

One of the crowded markets of Delhi. There are dime a dozen shops to spoil you with choices. From garments, to textiles, to home decor etc etc. Name it and you would find it here. There are several eatries too by the road side. My favorite of all time is dal ladoo with muli ki chatni. It's an amazing appetizer. The market offers you brand and non brand selection of items. Be a bargain Hunter and you would close the deal well. It's a good place to come along with family, friends, colleagues. You can spend a good 2-3 hours walking around the streets. Street shopping is also a good option if you visit Lajpat nagar market. There is always a hush and crowd in the market. Avoid taking your vehicle as parking will always be an issue. There is a lot of space crunch.

This a great market, much better than Chandi Chowk. We started at the car park off the main road and walked down the road where there were lots of market stalls outside the market, on the road side, there were also some good shops which had some designer wear for cheap - I believe these to be fakes but can not confirm.
You then enter the main market and yes it is busy busy but no where near as busy as Chandi Chowk. You can get some great bargains here, you can haggle and most are very friendly and helpful.

A single place for all your needs. Be it clothes, be it accessories, be it furniture, or be it any other items, you name it, lajpat nagar have it. You have so many options to buy from. You can buy clothes of different qualities, different occasions, different seasons at a very reasonable rate. You can buy them from local retailers or you can buy directly from the factory outlets of various well known brands like puma, adidas, nike, tommy Hilfiger, etc.
Not even clothes, you can even shop for some amazing home decor things from the local retailers. You will always get a unique kind of stuff in the place.
You can also buy other items like stationary items, kids clothes, kids toys.
The place also have many food stalls that serves variety of indian, south indian and chinese food. So it's a good place for food lovers as well.
The place also has its own metro station which lies on the violet line of the Delhi metro. Because of this station, lajpat nagar can be reached from any corner of Delhi.
The place also have a dedicated parking lot, which is available near the market.
Overall the place is a must visit for shopping enthusiastic people, but try to avoid visit the place on holidays because it gets kuch crowded in the weekend or on other holidays.

Lajpat Market is South Delhi's one of the most popular market. This place is neat and clean. The crowd over here is mainly of family and college students of near by colleges like PGDAV College, University of Delhi. I have been buying products Lajpat since 2011 and the products are in 90% cases turned out to be durable and of good quality. Though for some it is little more expensive in terms of money but Quality is way more better than any rest of the market of Delhi. Apart from Market, Most of the famous brands outlets are also located near by the market area.

Nearest Metro Station is Lajpat Nagar, Violet Line and Lajpat Nagar, Pink line.
