Highly rated restaurent. First time i ate biriyani with thenga koth.i orderd buf biriyani. Its the combination of boiled kaima rice with beef thenga koth itt varattiyath

Third class services. Suraj kumar most pathetic mannerless person. They don't even have sense to talk to customers.

Third class restaurant with a very arrogant manager called Suraj Kumar. He Has zero manners. We ordered food with of more than 4000₹. We had also ordered beers and one pint was left so we wanted to take it parcel with us. He started talking arrogantly and said puchne ka nahi kyu nahi leke jaa sakte. Bola toh bola.

Do not go to this place ever.

A place where you can cherish authentic Kerala South Indian Food. Tried Kerala porotta with Chicken Curry and it tasted homely and genuinley prepared. The service is fast and the ambience is also good.

We tried parotta, chicken roast and chicken biryani here. Parotta and the chicken roast were delicious. However the chicken dum biryani was not up to the mark. The taste of coconut oil was prevalent and thus made it difficult for consumption.

The ambience and service were good.

This is a delicious and safe Indian restaurant. The price is very reasonable and you can try Indian spicy food.

Their pacha mango curry and the appams. As vegetarians, we would probably come back to this restaurant just to eat this. The mango curry is truly unique and heavenly. So refreshing and creamy with a richly layered texture combining the tanginess of mango and natural sweetness of coconut. An absolute delight. The appams are brilliant too with that slight sourness in the batter adding to its kick. The service was good and the ambience is okay too. The other dishes on the menu are alright - but its the mango curry that sets this menu apart and would make us want to visit again!

We had the pleasure of dining at 'Mahabelly, ' a charming Malayali restaurant that promised an authentic culinary experienc as i m forced to rewrite this review again As a fan of Kerala cuisine, My taste buds were eager to savor the distinct flavors and aromatic spices that make Malayali cuisine so diverse.

As it was our first dining experience the friendly staff greeted us with a genuine smile, enhancing the overall dining experience. The menu boasted a variety of mouthwatering dishes, making it difficult to choose where to begin.quench my thirst, I opted for a refreshing lime soda, which provided a perfect balance to the bold and spicy flavors of the meal. The tanginess of the lime combined with the effervescence of the soda was a delightful accompaniment throughout the dining experience.

I started my culinary journey with the classic combination of porotta and beef fry. The porottas were soft and flaky, but somehow i felt it was made to cater the northies as it tastes more like a lachcha paratha, perfectly complementing the spicy and tender beef fry with thenga kothu. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that left me wanting more. It was evident that the chef had mastered the art of preparing this quintessential Malayali dish.

Next up was the prawns roast, which turned out to be a true highlight. The prawns were impeccably cooked and coated with a rich blend of aromatic spices. The combination of the caramelized onions, curry leaves, and fiery red chili was simply divine. It was a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chef, who managed to strike the perfect balance of flavors.

The chicken curry at 'Mahabelly' was another standout dish. The succulent chicken pieces were immersed in a thick, luscious gravy that had absorbed the essence of coconut milk and a harmonious blend of spices.

For dessert, I indulged in the traditional rice payasam. The velvety texture, subtle sweetness, and the hint of cardamom made it a satisfying end to a fantastic meal, and above all it was served hot. The payasam was served warm and topped with crunchy caramelized nuts, adding a delightful contrast of textures.

We really missed a 'mallu playlist'. Overall, my experience at 'Mahabelly' was a delightful journey through the flavors of Kerala. The restaurant showcased an authentic taste of Malayali cuisine, with dishes that truly reflected the culinary heritage of the region. The attentive staff, cozy ambiance, and the outstanding quality of the food left a lasting impression on me. I would highly recommend 'Mahabelly' to anyone looking to explore the rich and diverse flavors of Kerala in a warm and welcoming environment. The food made us skip taking pictures.

The restaurant is decent. It serves you south indian foods which are actually good and hard to find in North India. The flavor is typically kerela style. Nice abmience but bit costly

Large variation in the quality of food. In general, it is a good place offering Kerala cuisine. Wish they were consistent in quality.

Not the best atmosphere in my opinion. And unfortunately they did not have some of the drinks that were in the menu. Food was good, but not many options to choose from

Fairly decent Malayali cuisine. Parotta with curry was delicious. Wait times however are high - especially during weekends.

Staff's are very polite and supportive. Specially the one bhaiya who served me today. Also others like RECEIPTent bhaiya is of good behavior. In terms of taste and price and hygiene the place should be appreciated. Reccomeded.

We went to Mahabelly for Onam Sadhya. They had managed the event very well and took adequate precautions to have a covid safe space. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and we ate to our hearts content. I ate so much that my belly turned into a maha belly. I don't know the names of each individual item that they put on the leaf but I know all of them were super tasty.

Located behind Select City Walk Mall. It's a must visit for titillating your taste buds to some wonderful blend of masalas. Each dish stands out for the complexity of its spices.the balance achieved.the taste just overpowering.
The taste of roast or Chettinad or Moily dishes is distinct and a pleasure.though be ready for the hit of chilly in roast variety.
Mutton Chettinad is superb as is fish Moily.

Returned to this wonderful Malayalam gustatory paradise with great expectations and wasn't disappointed one bit. It was flawless: ambience, service, food and drinks. This place is on the way to becoming a South Delhi landmark.

Absolutely fabulous food. Ambience, service and atmosphere is too notch. This was my first visit and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

This is the second time I've ordered Malayali food from these guys (through Zomato) and I have to say it's the best Kerala food I've had in Delhi.well done guys you've got at least one more permanent customer. I stay nearby so next time I'll be visiting this place myself to try some other dishes.

Had Malabar Parotta and Buff roast.
Ordered Chicken Biriyani.
Both was good and yummy in taste.
Quantity was good.
Had Tea (Nadan Chai) too which had great flavor and taste.
Would recommend to reserve a table on weekends to avoid delays.
If you are a Kerala food lover, u should try this.

Classic dishes of Kerala. If one's looking for Sadhya the availability might be mostly during festival time - Vishu, Onam or so.

If u r vegetarian or Non vegetarian it doesn't matter.
For sure u r gonna enjoy every single bite of food u take.
Even the smell of food is awesome.
I have tried prawns, chicken, Malabar paratha, ghee rice, nadan paneer, dosa all of those are level apart.

The only thought that comes in mind is why is this food (whatever u order) is getting over. It should never end.
Being a Non vegetarian I loved prawns, chettinad chicken.

We can see Kerala cuisine board in front of many restaurants in Delhi but verify few serve the real authentic Kerala cuisine, and Mahabelly is one of such few restaurants. Great ambiance and provide an excellent service. Down to earth staff and management. A well known and suggestive place for Malabari-Chettinad cuisine in Delhi. Each and every dish you try here is so authentic. From my personal experience, the combination of fish shappu meen curry (fish curry) and appam was so great and really delicious. The gravy was rich and full of flavours. The management is strictly following all covid protocols with adequate social distancing. I visited two times with my north and south-east Indian friends, and they also gave excellent feedback about the restaurant and food which they serve. It was an excellent experience.

From my personal experience I came to know that, in Delhi, because of the area and hotel management, it is not advisable to go with family and friends (especially women). But Mahabelly is exceptional to this because the restaurant is located in a well-known place and the hotel management provides a great service, so it is advisable to have food with family and friends. The price is a little high but it is worth each and every rupee we spend on food.

Amidst the hustle of South Delhi, Mahabelly has a serene ambiance of Southern India, mastering the art of Malyali Cuisine. Best Chettinad Chicken had in South Delhi, along with Malabar Parotta, Mutton Varathattu and Egg Appam.

It is one of the best Kerala eateries I have eaten at in my life. The food tastes amazing. Everytime I eat here my belly feels so happy. The service is so fast and food is so fresh and delectable. Love the ambience.

Don't ever order from this restaurant online. They're looting like anything. I ordered a kallappam and sharjah shake through swiggy. Both were good for nothing. They charged very high and the quantity was very very less. Both had bitter taste too. Totally waste of money. Dear Mahabelly people, it's better to go out and do pick-pocketing rather than looting people like this. Shame on you!

This place is magical. From Appams to Chicken 65, and to mutton curry, I can't thank enough to the head chef and the menu curator whenever I visit there. The customer service is really welcoming and exceptional. Hand down the best coastal food in Delhi. Keep at it guys!

Very bad first time visit experience. Absolutely disorganized. Taking customer granted. Annoying. They have to be polite.

We booked Onam Dinner well in advance at 19.00 abd paid online.

We reached well in time at 18.50 and were told they are running late so if we can come back at 19.15 and assured that our table will be ready by that time. We thought it's ok and went to DLF Mall to spend some time.

We came back at 19.10. They were not yet ready and no signs of getting their readiness for another 45 minutes. They were busy in packing take away.

We suggested that instead going back to Mall or standing and waiting on road if we can wait inside. We could see enough space inside to wait but they refused.

On insistence that it's not correct that we wait on road side with family. They did not listen. We objected if they knew that they will be late, they should have informed us in advance over phone as our number was taken online while booking or they should have accepted booking from 20.00 hours onwards.

They were very rude and asked us to take our money back. After some heated exchange we decided to take our money back.

Similar incident happened in past with one of my friend when they delivered lunch three and half hour late.

An excellent place for authentic traditional Kerala food. Yes there are some contemporary dishes too. But for sure yummy, hygienic and tasty traditional spread. The Onam Sadya is a sure not to miss event here. Kudos

Delightful malabari-chettinad cuisine. Every dish you try tastes so authentic and yum. Very well curated bar menu and cocktails as well. Somehow they've enthused the south indian flavours in their drinks as well, very tastefully. Very good experience!

Taste wise and portion wise this restaurant is the best in South Delhi I have tried. But I have a concern to share, for my very recent 3 orders of Ghee rice, no accompaniments were provided like Salad, Pickle n Papad. Today was my 3rd order, I had updated in cooking instruction about the addition of these accompaniments and it showed as accepted but not received, right after placing the order I tried to reach directly to restaurant number but no response.

Bringing authentic veg and nonveg Kerala cuisine to Delhi. One of the best places to try out for people good, spicy non veg kerala delicacies. Their best fish dish is karimeen pollichathu and Pepper Prawns. Their red meat dishes are good too. If you can handle spicy dishes. Parrotas are a must have with these spicy dishes and even their idiammaps are good.

Food was amazing with near homely tastes, well sanetised and clean. Felt a little over priced for the regular food. Atleast.its a good place to satisfy the cravings for Kerala's delicacies.

We wanted to taste the authentic malayali cuisine as we have a good idea of the same. This restaurant did meet all of expectations, be it service (which was quick), hygiene, taste (super awesome). It's located at the end of a street, so not so crowded. Some specifics related to current covid pandemic, all the staff were wearing masks and they have a sanitization machine at the entry.
We had booked a table and were running late to join. The service guy even called us to know our whereabouts and he was very courteous and ensured we get a table as we reached.
Only negative point is, it's a bit pricey, but i think that's ok as we don't go to such places quite often. Kudos to the management and recommended to everyone.

About parking, this doesn't have a dedicated parking per say but the DLF building has one.

It's now open. Authentic Kerala cousine. Food is good. Service is very fast and well behaved attendant. Good place to have food with friends. Alcohol drinks are served here.

More or less authentic kerala taste of food. Crowd and staff north indian but not an issue. Very lively and chic place to visit. Staff is very well mannered so five stars for them. Quantity of servings also value for money. Karimeen and seer fry were excellent. Rest good

A good Malabar restaurant in Saket! It’s so hard to find erachi fry and finally found it here in Mahabelly! The food taste nice. The price is a bit expensive for the portion they have given.

The staff is extremely well mannered and warm, always trying to make sure you're comfortable. Personally, that's key about any restaurant service. And of course the food's great! Not the easiest on the pockets but the flavour and consistency more than make up for it!

Vegetarian appetizers were not so good. You must try the Raw mango stew here. Overall an okay experience. Being a Sunday, it was a bit crowded so service was also slow.
