#No place to sit for the accompanying person. (My friends were standing outside for hours) #Lockers to put students bags & stuffs r provided individually.
I'll tell student not to fill their exam for some months. Because they are literally cheating people by intentionally failing. I know some who had only done A2 and he went for B2 exam he got 98 I schreiben of B2 and one had given B2 after completing C1 they gave him 66. I'll beg student not to fill in Goethe Delhi. Not it's a business for them. If you have chance fill for Kolkata or Pune
Excellent German language institute behind Janpath Metro station gate no. 4, walking distance of 10 minutes, but beware of traffic cops and crane ready to tow your vehicle if coming by your own vehicle.
We visited this Institut for German A1 exam. The place is located in rich area of Delhi and closed to Pahad ganj are around 3 KM. So, we stayed in Pahad ganj and traveled by Auto to Max Mueller Bhavan. The place has both peaceful and greenery even though situated in Central of Delhi. Very well maintained whole site.
Immersing in German Language & Culture: An Inspiring Journey at Goethe Institute New Delhi
I'm thrilled to share my experiences at the Goethe Institute in New Delhi. As someone who's been on a quest to learn the German language, this place has turned out to be an invaluable resource.
The institute's commitment to education is evident right from the onset. They conduct structured German language exams, starting from the A1 level. This systematic approach offers a clear learning pathway, allowing you to build upon your knowledge and expertise at each level.
The Goethe Institute New Delhi, being a part of the German Embassy, stands as a proud beacon of German culture and language in the heart of India. This connection offers a unique learning environment that provides insight into not just the language, but also the rich tapestry of German culture and history.
One of the highlights of the institute is its extensive library. It operates on a subscription basis and is accessible to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the German language. With a vast collection of German books, it's a veritable treasure trove for both beginners and seasoned German speakers alike.
Additionally, the institute houses a bookstore where one can buy German language books. It's a fantastic resource, especially if you prefer to have personal copies for studying or simply for the joy of owning a piece of German literature.
And to make the learning experience even more enjoyable, the institute also offers a pantry where snacks are available on a payment basis. It's a great place to recharge, interact with other learners, and perhaps practice your newly learned German phrases.
Overall, the Goethe Institute New Delhi is much more than just a language learning center. It's a community, a resource, and a sanctuary for those passionate about the German language. Its dedicated learning environment provides an immersive and enriching experience, making the language learning journey a truly enjoyable one. I highly recommend this place to everyone interested in learning German!
Near to Janpath metro station. Went here for A1 german exam. The area is quiet and clean, perfect for studying and conducting exams. The staffs are co-operative and helpful. Above all toilets are clean.
We had organized an educational trip for our school students to Delhi and got a time slot at Max Mueller Bhavan. We received warm welcome from Ms. Puneet Kaur, Head of Educational Cooperation, Ms. Mohita Miglani, Project Manager and Ms. Gareema Sharma, Course Coordinator at Goethe Institut, New Delhi.
We had wonderful interaction with the said officials. The students were hesitant in the beginning, but when Ms. Miglani organized some informative yet fun filled games with gifts involved, icebreaking took place automatically.
Ms. Miglani shared various career avenues related to language, engineering and research with the students and the parting words were highly empowering.
The warmth, hospitality and professionalism were wonderfully balanced. The miieu was energetic, infrastructure was incredible particularly well-stocked library, classrooms and cafe, cleanliness was flawless and people were genuinely warm.
We will take the association to the next level positively and meaningfully.
The communication on their part is lamentable! The shoddy management and it's inefficiency is more than obvious and despite several calls, there is no response. They direct you to write them e-mails but those aren't responded to either. It is a real inconvenience which isn't improved on.
Visited this place for the first time. Very strict rules yet the staff are decent. A very tidy place. I've given my exam over here, The atmosphere of this place is really good. Sher gut.
Perfect place to learn German Language. Good library and helpful teachers let you learn and pick the language soon.only drawback is the guards at the entry gate they are rude and disrespectful. Not ready to listen and understand.
Just went today to this place as a school trip from sose karol bagh I meet mohita mam and all the education department members especially everyone is so politely speaking the librarian is even more polite with us they let us to use iPad and play game on PS5 and they have the best facilities ever I have seen The refreshment is so odd from others we get cheese burger which cost around 70 rs and coca cola can with many other things and all of this for free
Ich heibe Abbad Ich wohne Delhi Ich gern max Mueller bhavan Danke Auf weidersehn
Max Muller bhavan is best place for german examiner because there are many facilities available inside and staffs, servants is very helpful for examiner. Thank you for all members
The event was smooth. The place was a bit small for big events like the comic fest. It was extremely packed in that regards. Security is tight. The vibe of the place is nice though.
My daughter has the A1 exam today and the school didn’t give any information. Called up the centre in New Delhi and spoke to Surabhi. I was so pleased with her patience to answer all our queries. Really thankful to her.
Gave my exam on 22.09.22, result declared on 04.10.22 and received my physical copy on 15.10.22. The staff is very helpful and listens to all your queries very carefully. And provides the solution. Atmosphere is the best here and the cafe's food is too tasty.
I have been two times here and feel that its a very Calm and clean place to learn. Staff was very cooperative. The cafeteria was also too good. Overall experience was wonderful.
Hello i have just completed my graduation and i want to learn german language so which institute should i choose goethe pune and goethe delhi and i am from rajasthan
There custome service is very bad I contacted them to ask how i can pay them for the course because its very confusing in the website firstly i have called 5-6 numbers they dont pick and secondly one female employee picks up the call and she said everything is on the website and was very rude and arrogantly behaving with me.
Greatness in simplicity of this place called Max Mueller Bhavan. The center for all ages for learning German language in serene, calm, rich culture, focussed, excellent education facility in New Delhi. Kudos.
Official institute for German language. I think best of all too, everything is state of the art. Rest institute are just copy with names like Max Muller Institute and academy.
Overall experience was good and staff there were very supportive. Exam experience was also quite good. For those who travelled via railway, to get there you can use City Bus no. 104 as we used the same.
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi like all the other institutes in India, is known as Max Mueller Bhavan – in honour of Max Müller (1823-1900), a scholar of comparative religion and co-founder of modern Indian studies. The institute organises and promotes a wide spectrum of cultural events in Delhi and other north Indian cities with the aim of presenting German culture, particularly its contemporary aspects, in India. Its artistic and reflexive programmes and projects are developed in close cooperation with Indian partner institutions.
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi is the best-known centre in the city for German courses and internationally recognised examinations. In addition to general language courses covering all levels for adults and teens, our offer includes a wide range of special courses as well as company courses. The language courses are supplemented by an extensive examination programme. Students who wish to study German at Goethe Institutes in Germany should contact their course office.
I want to cancle my A1 exam at Delhi center (India) on 25/April/2022. I did emailed to goethe delhi but I didn't receive any responce. I want refund of my exam fee.
Hello sir/ma'am I want to cancle my A1 exam at Delhi center (India) which is on 25/April/2022. I have emailed you but I didn't receive any reply or responce. I want my exam fees refund
If you are accompanying the candidate for exam, only candidate is allowed inside there is no waiting area for anybody else. One has to seat outside. If coming by own vehicle, there is chance you get parking in service lane in front of it or somewhere nearby. There is no cafe or market nearby to spend time.
Good institute to study. If you are planning to study abroad this is the best place to start. Got all the necessary information and guidance from Mandal sir
I think only Native Indians Should pe Joined Together for the Sprechen (speaking), I got Nativ Afgan whose accents didnot match with me and I cant Understood her Deutsch Even I have more vocab word power and Skills than her, i will say if you are going to Attend Goethe Exam, firstly Select your Nativ Indian Mate.
Ich möchte Deutsch vom Max Müller bhavan zu lernen, da wir viele Dinge machen können.oh I forgot to write in English So, if you're planning to go to Germany for studies, work etc and for that you want to learn German than this is the place where you can get the perfect atmosphere. They've got nice Bibliothek (library) where you can study peacefully I know this place because I'm one of the x students in mmb, I have spend some precious time in mmb of my Life which would not be forgettable at all
M approaching them from 29th of December. But I did not get any reply. My plan was to join the German classes from the new year. But they have destroyed my whole planning. So I m quiet upset from the service. Even they are not updating that the Institute is on or off.
Terrible management, the reception never answers. Not possible for external students to contact them via email or phone. Exam coordinators NEVER write back to queries. They charge exorbitantly high rates but hardly make up for it.
Looks like I definitely am not alone in having negative impressions about this place. I really wish I had an option to provide zero stars for their "service" staff, because the concept of "customer service" actually does not exist in their dictionary at all!
I tried phoning them about ten to twelve times to enquire about their courses' enrolment and payment procedures (their course registration e-mail says that "the payment has to be made in person", that too during this COVID-19 pandemic, with New Delhi being one of the worst-affected places), but that exercise ended in infuriating futility. Either no one ever attends phone calls, or the line is said to be "busy".
Obviously, even sending them e-mails won't yield any satisfactory result. I hope everyone sees this review and understands what to expect, to better steel oneself to deal with the brutally incompetent staff here.
Most worst service when it comes to response just because of monopoly they don't care about anyone reply just one certificate it's required form this institute otherwise no worth of learning in Goetha they do not respond tour mail and your call will be never answer.
You guys really need to improve your services. 1.when you call them to inquiry something they will not answer the call nor they check the mailbox, i almost called you multiple times but ni one answering the call. 2.improve your registration scheme, I want to take admission in 2020 batch but i don't think I'm able to apply for the same because whenever i try to click on the link which you guys have mentioned on your website it's got some kind of technical glitch because it's not working anymore.
The Best Western Premier Learn German Language center establish and maintained by German Embassy, New Delhi. Learn More about German Culture Study, Living Standard etc.
Ms. Anisha is the best tutor! She helped me with German language this summer and was immensely helpful. She was great at explaining everything, and tutoring sessions weren't boring at all. I couldn't have done so well in my German A1 exam without her!
My review comes entirely in light of the library's God-aweful decision to cover each and every book, audio-book and magazine in there with newspaper, without providing the slightest clue about the title or their publisher. Now, if you're looking for a book, you literally need to blindly select one from the thousands in there, and hope it's the one you're looking for. No it isn't? Well, good luck with the next one then. And then the next. Keep picking books at random and opening them until you find the one you are looking for. I do not know who came up with this brilliant scheme, but with all due respect, not all of us can afford to spend the whole day in a library looking for a copy of Sprachkurs Deutsch 2.
It is the mecca for those who wish to learn German language and understand culture of German community through various events in the max Mueller Bhavan, such as film festivals, theatrical plays, guest lectures among other such initiatives.
It also houses a unique initiative on letters where the art of writing letters to the loved ones is promoted via a collaboration with Indian Posts. It also houses a serene atmosphere under the shades of neem around the breathtaking German architecture of the building in addition to maintaining an ecological balance of the Bhavan with environment.
Worst institute i have ever seen in my life, it is german institute but the staff is behaving like lazy government employees who do not receive calls, do not resolve the issues and does not bother after receiving the fees.
Such a big brand for German Language certification with worst student helpline services and rude staff. They do not bother to answer tha calls and email if there is any urgent assistance required. #pathetic service
Max Mueller Bhavan at K G Marg, New Delhi is a best place to learn German with latest technique, library and canteen in a well designed, well built and well maintained premises. German courses started on quarterly basis and to apply online. Yet staff is well but sometimes when you have some query they are not prompt and donot give proper solution.
They do no have any systematic procedure for admission. Their website malfunctioned during final cut-off list. I couldn't get admission because their website did not work. And I'm still waiting for a reply from their customer service.
The awesome place to learn German language, culture, food and environment. It has a library with German language and culture books. The library membership is Rs. 700 for six months and Rs. 1200 for 12 months. I like the way the Goethe Zentrum is organised. It also an authorised center for teach and train students and professionals. They offer basic A1, A2, intermediate B1, B2 and advanced C1, C2 levels and the certificates are valid throughout the Germany and the world!
Poor management literally. They don't ever care about their students and they never accept their fault. Rude staff and never check their mails or calls, so no chance for any contact.
This is such a stupid institution honestly. They ask you to wait for the online registration dates, once they come out even though you are the first to fill it, you don't see your name anywhere. I mean what is even going on. Nobody ever returns or picks up any call, doesn't reply on email queries and expect us to know everything. No confirmation, no verification. Such a stupid, informal piece of land.
There should be a zero star option. What’s the point of opening an institute when u can’t even get in touch with them. No one answers the landline and it goes straight to the mailbox which is full. How is one supposed to contact and ask info? Pathetic really! It’s like they have done us a favour by opening an institute. Poor service
