Last week We had the best experience of afghani cuisine. Ordered - 1. Mutton seekh kabab - 5/5 2. Kadhayi Chicken - 4/5 3. Chicken pizza - 6/5 Even though it gets housefull during meal times I really cherished my time here.
One thing that they accept cash only and if you insist then UPI. I request the owner to please accept payments through other methods as well It'd really be appreciated.
I usually go their but their food taste and all service are very best and outstanding. You should have visit there and try some of their amazing stuffs.
Authentic afghani food.this place is heaven for Afghani cuisine.the taste is good.the food is cooked in mild spices as is the afghani taste.they alwas serve baigan and rajma as complimentary.and that is tasty too.if you are looking for spicy one then please don't visit this place.the staff is good and pleasant.only drawback is their service is a bit slow and totally justified due to tandoori dishes.this is a pocket friendly place. Do carry cash, they don't accept cards.
Excellent authentic Afghani food Chicken tikka and chicken tangdi kabas were excellent Atmosphere, sitting arrangements, service is outstanding Afghan bread was very hard and tough to bite No other soft bread option is available
I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Afghani mazar restaurant in Delhi and the experience was phenomenal. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure that we were comfortable and satisfied with our orders. The food was authentic and delicious, every dish full of flavor and spices that transported us to the streets of Afghanistan. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a dinning with friends. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth the quality of food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
Simplicity with delicious Afghan cuisine. Very good hospitality. Less spicy food but awesome taste. They served bengan varta and bread free with the ordered dish and the bengan varta was so delicious. The sitting arrangement is also very unique and it was fun
One of the best places to dine, if you love non vegetarian food options. Service is barely tolerable but chicken tikka, mutton biryani and kebabs make up for all the love lost.
This is very old Afghan restaurant of Lajpat Nagar but the quality of the food is not so good as of the Afghan darbar. I ate at both places. The staff is better. Food is of different varieties and unique also. But taste wise is not that better
If you are fan of tomatoes, this place is heaven for you. Most of the items are cooked in Tomato, there one may find the taste a bit on the blant side. Tandoori items are show stoppers here. Both veg and non veg options are available. Icecream aka Sheeryak is a must try. Mutton chaopan kabab is also famous. Mostly occupied by people having Afghani roots. Bon appetite
Real Afghani food and real Afghani and a bit of middle eastern vibes. Located in an afghan colony in Delhi in lajpat nagar. The restaurant is usually visited by a lot of afghan Sikhs and even the sitting arrangement is made according to traditional afghan way. But there were some tables and chairs also for normal people like us. I ordered chicken tikka, although it was less spicy, the chicken was very juicy. Then finally ordered the sweet dish- Afghani ice cream it was delicious.although nothing comparable to kulfi in India.
It's a very good place for non-vegetarians, such delicious food and with essence of Afghan in it. I love to go there in any occasion or sometimes casually. That is my happy place.
Really good food, the chopan kebab and the tikka are to die for. Order only pilaf (uzbeki) or any curry, they would provide naan and sides as complimentary. The service is nice, people are warm and welcoming. Do try tea at the end.
Nothing special. Pathetic service. Seems everyone in the staff was forced to do their job with so much attitude as if they are kings and customers are their slaves. Avoid it
Very nice yakhni mutton pulao which they call uzbeki pulao this is the authentic yakhni pulao. Prices minimal where do u get mutton biryani in just 230 rs ample quantity.
I had the best Afghani food of my life hereI can never forget the taste of rice with perfectly cooked meat. I just loved it! They provide you with their special baigan bharta and rajma for free and also the butter milk. I still have the taste of butter milk. It was chilled and just amazing that too a bottle full. They provide super amazing food with a super amazing Afghani seating. Their setup is just like Ertugrul. It was all just beyond amazing I had a wonderful experience, thanks to my husband who brought me hereI would definitely recommend it
Wonderful restaurant to spend time with family and friends. Very beautifully designed space. Specially the seatings. Just loved it. The food is as pwr Afghani taste. If you are an Indian, then you should order only those items which you are aware of, Otherwise the food may not be of your taste. Taste the ice cream at last.
Though the food is good and the place is reputed, the servoce is poor. The waiters seem to be in thwir own world not paying heed to what the customer is asking and don't give proper reply also. This part needs to be improved by a lot. The ambience is good and its location is also great though congested traffic area.
The concept is very nice. Live to visit. Food gives proper afgani flavour. If you looking for proper Indian flavour the place is not for u. Else it gives a different set of experience. And I like it.
Awesome food and cheaper than rates in Vogue. Kabul -Uzbek Biryani is best but tastes sweater than normal Indian taste, due to addition of dry fruits in biryani
Meals at their best! A restaurant like no other well prepared cuisines with excellent customer satisfaction treatment so so mesmerising tastes and more.
I always enjoy here cos the food is completely different than indians food and also the prices are fair due to food they serve, I know afghans always eat here but I recommend indians especially those who could eat non-veg
Awesome pure Afghani restaurant.kebabs are must try but gravies are little different and not that spicy, no green chillies used.bread is free with every dish and only cash payment. Overall a great restaurant to try in Delhi
They don't accept cards. Overtime their prices are hitting new high, quantity is getting stinger though somehow quality is maintained okay. But some of the staff members arre very rude and unfriendly. No taxes but may be that's why no card or no record is maintained.
I would definitely have given 4 stars atleast but here are 2 for the bad billing service. We only ordered 2 cold drink but they included charge for 5 and also the food was a bit raw
The Best Afghani Restaurant in Delhi. Nice Ambience but Super Tasty Food especially Mutton Chopan, Kabuli Uzbeki & Chicken Tikka. Highly Affordable and they accept only Cash. I have been coming here since 2011 (when it was just one hall), that should speak for itself as to how good it is.
The place and ambience is amazing. Service is good and prompt. I ordered Fish tikka kabab and Chicken tikka kabab along with Okra (Bhindi). Food is somehow disappointing since I had better Afghani food earlier. Also because of the refugee situation, Indian government does not allow these places to have online transactions (waiter told this) so if you plan to go then better you go with cash.
The place is awesome, the food is great, but what they lack is good service. The waiters are not vocal and they don't suggest anything. The place has traditional Arabic sit on the floor arrangement as well as normal seating.
Coming to the food, the main delicacy is the mutton chopan, which is really the stand out. Tastes super delicious and in barbeque style. If you order some curry, you will get Afgan bread which gives good exercise for your teeth. Tried the tandoori chicken, wasn't good, do not recommend it. You get rajma free with the mutton chopan I believe.
Coming to the rice, we've tried both the Kabuli and pulav, where Kabuli is the better choice.
Overall taste 4/5, service 3/5 and ambience 4/5. The place only accepts cash, so carry cash. Cost for 4-5 people will be around 1500 - 2000 rupees.
