MM eyetech cares for your eyes as you would care on your own. Dr. Indira Mohan and Dr. Rishi Mohan are excellent doctors who give you the confidence as they answer all questions very patiently. It is a clinic which feels more homely and makes you very comfortable. They are very efficient and very professional.
Although various members of my family have visited MM Eye Tech in the past and had nothing but positive experiences, I had a terrible experience couple of weeks back.
I visited a couple of weeks ago due to recurring headaches and wanted to rule out any eye issue. After explaining my concern, the Optometrist checked only my eye power and sent me on my way with a new prescription. There was no doctor available, despite my having requested and being given an appointment with a doctor on the phone.
For a second opinion I visited another reputed eye clinic. Their Optometrist conducted a routine check up and to my shock, diagnosed me with high intraocular pressure, putting me at an increased risk for Glaucoma.
I'm really surprised and disappointed that IoP checking is not a part of the SoP at MM Eye Tech. I have a high regard for your clinic and have referred many friends. However, had I not gotten a second opinion I would not have discovered my high IoP and not have started treatment for the same until perhaps it would have been too late and I had developed Glaucoma.
I hope that the management looks into this at the earliest and hope no such serious lapses in diagnosis occurs for other patients.
