Modern Bazaar is a great department store and located at a pretty prime location in this area. They have decent parking space in front of the store (8-10 cars) but during rush hours there is alot of crowd and chance of parking spot is close to none (just a heads up). Infact during rush hours (after office time) the whole store gets pretty crowded and it can be a task to navigate as a few lines of goods are a bit too thin.

Before entering the trolleys and carts are available and one can take them and enter. Moment one enters there is the fresh Fruits and Vegetables section with alot of organic and imported items. They have some great variety of selection available for vegetables and fruits here. After selecting and taking the item there is a kiosk on the side where a person (generally always) where u have to put the fresh items into a paper bag and get it weighed. If you don't do that billing wouldn't happen and would take up your time and have seen this happen to too many people prior to this and thus another heads up.

They have a bakery section which makes fresh breads and baked goods. Have had great quality bread from here previously. Then there is the cheese and meats section which has a huge variety of fresh and imported meats and cheeses. There is also a small portion where the organic chicken, wild Atlantic salmon, eggs etc are kept. Prices are decent for many good but a few items can be very expensive. They also time to time have indian salmon which also I have tried and is great in my experience. So are the Indian avocados and funny enough I once found them to be much better than the imported ones which is 3 times the price.

The sauce, dressing etc section is massive with Indian aswell as imported goods available. They have all kinds of sauces in all types of price points. I got a Remia Cream Salad dressing which I highly recommend. They also have a place in the basement where there are many other items like homecare, personal care goods available.

The best part about the store is the service and hygiene. Though it may look a bit "dark" the place is very clean and there are more than enough employees present all over the place and very helpful. Overall a great experience buying from here.

Oh how I love them super stores where you don't have to interact with them sad faced uncles sitting and judging you for the products that you want to buy from them. Modern Bazaar FTW!

Well stocked with imported groceries and food items. It's usually crowded and quite popular with the crowd. The discounts aren't that good, but there can be some amazing deals once in a while.

Great place to buy imported products! You'll find cereal, chocolate, chips, gum, etc that are not easily available at other stores here. I love the fruit beer that they have stocked. Amazing fresh breads available as well

Well laid-out and planned. Deducted 1 star because the staff was quite unpleasant, and another because a lot of their bakery items were near expiry. Considering this is one of their busiest outlets, they should manage their inventory for baked goods accordingly.
Also, nobody was following COVID safety protocol. Had to ask multiple staff members to put their masks on.

Although it's a nice store, their customer servicing is lax. They forgot to pack a pac of feta cheese that I was bilked for and even after making 5 calls they did not bother to call back. So I paid but did not get the product. Getting careless. Too many customers I suppose

Its okay but too much expensive. Don't expect even 1 rs discount. Also, it seems they have expensive version of every item which will only increase your bill. Only for Rich people, I guess

Amazing store with all products available you see online. Customer service is good and many imported products as well. They should also open many place as Evergreen as they will see good response from customer

Horrible experience. Modern bazaar sent me dragonfruit riddled with fungus. The entire lot was completely rotten. They refused to offer any resolution when I contacted them and acted like it was no big deal. It’s shocking how such a big brand can sell such stuff and then take no accountability. The manager is most unhelpful. Never ordering from them again.

Overall a good Departmental Store. It has its own bakery section - live preparation of Breads, Buns, Croissants, Muffins, Pizza base, Cookies, Cakes, Pastries, Patties, Garlic Breads, Cup Cakes, etc. Also available raw Meat, Chicken and Egg. They have Sausages, Salamis, Meat Balls, frozen Prawns, Aloo Tikki, French fries, etc. Rates are moderately high being premium store.

A very good selection of products, a bit expensive but store is very disorganized, over staffed and claustrophobic.

It has various products at different price ranges and of different brands. Kind of a all in one store with a variety of chocolates and fruits that can't be found elsewhere easily.

Items are ok, though price is on a higher side but the wait for making payment is too much. Been there several times and most of the time you have to wait long for your turn

Great selection of products, let down by lazy, unattentive staff. Place is overstaffed, especially at the lower level. I saw three staff members stand in a corner and chatting casually with each other. Forget about offering to help me, they bluntly refused, even when I asked for help trying finding an item. In this day and age, where consumers have plenty of options, customer service cannot be ignored. I would rather spend my money where I am appreciated as a customer. Worst grocery experience by far!

This place houses all one can aspire for from cooking essentials to live kitchen creating fresh baked products, Non Veg section, fruits and vegetables in season, grocery etc.

Good variety, unluckily for them they didn't have the one thing I was looking for (Girnar tea premix) hence the 4 Star

Great place for shopping groceries for home. With lowest grocery price. With members exclusive offers that will give discounts % of on each buy. The store also provides free home delivery which is great service for customers. On different season lots of offers comes to different products which is very beneficial.

Very nice store. Selection of gluten and carb free foods especially large. Vegetables were especially fresh.

Although it is a well stocked store but it is not managed well. There are too many assistants busy with gup-shup with each other. They have little idea about the product or its availability. More a cause of chaos, and crowd.

Their home delivery is very disorganised and unprofessional. Right from the phone call we make to place the order till the delivery of the goods and payment is not being handled well.

We have to try their land line numbers 41733306/ 41633306 anything from 20 mins - 1.5 hours and they still don't pick up, they often screen our calls and decide which customers they will ignore today and which customers calls they will pick. If they take the orders then they often send the most expensive goods or their own MODERN BAZAAR branded goods in order to make money. The delivery boys are impatient, rude and always in a hurry. The payment team always messes up the online payments as they are unable to consolidate the payments properly.

Even their owner Urvashi always blames the customer and believes their are no mistakes from her shops side. No positive middle-ground solutions are found, the customer is just boycotted and treated disrespectfully once you go for help to Urvashi. Even the employees personal mobile phones are not picked up by the likes of Sonia, Suraj, Vishnu, Chandan, Vinod as there too they screen the calls and ignore us.

The right thing to do would be to pick up the call immediately and say they are busy and to call little later but they will waste our time daily by sometimes picking up and sometimes ignoring. Lots of politics and the owner doesnt get involved, has left everything in the hands of people like Sonia and Chandan who mess up long standing relationships.

I have also called up the owner many times but my calls are regularly ignored by her too, she is setting the example which her company employees are following.

I have even come there and heard the employees cribbing in front of all customers about the number of orders and how bugged they are, maybe they need to increase the home delivery staff.

The beauty of all modern bazaars are their home delivery systems. When I order from Saket modern bazaar its totally professional, my friends order from all other modern bazaars and face no issues but the one in East of Kailash needs to be run with a tight leash by Urvashi and it needs to focus on customer delight rather than employees ONLY.

The employees actually pick up the phones sometimes and say they don't wish to take our orders and we are left begging them and humiliating ourselves and unfortunately we are dependent for home delivery shopping on them. The owner blindly believes what all her employees say and doesnt wish to hear or BELIEVE our side or reach any new, middle ground permanent solutions.

Very bad experience.will only order from the other branches of modern bazaar from now onwards as they are delighting their customers with politeness and professionalism rather than constantly getting personal and acting immature. These are very reluctant workers who seem to be looking for excuses to shirk their work.

This store sells quality products.the item range is carefully selected and the customer service is quite satisfactory.the senior level salesmen are highly efficient and professional out here.however sometimes the juniors seem to be a bit uninterested in providing service.overall a great grocery shop with wonderful service and a carefully planned out product range.

Good merchandise. Large space. Few trained staff members. The billing is slow and sometimes half billinh counters are closed at 7.30 pm. The place is a MESS. The new outlet in Kailash Colony

I used to love shopping in vasant vihar when it had opened 10 years ago. The only reason for giving it 1 star is that the one in new friends colony sucks big time. I had bought a bottle of iced Thai tea which was stale and they refused to take it back. We were spending thousands of rupees and were ordering everything from Modern bazaar earlier. Not we don't order from there. We now order non veg from licious and vegetables (organic) from Javed hut. Other stuff from 37 Krishna Mart. Avoid this place ad they don't care about customers

There is everything what you cannot find in local small shops and markets. Price is little high but reasonable.

You will find everything here from good stuff to grocery items. They accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Cash.

They display various offers but in the payment counter the boys are either unaware or just avoid to meet the offers. If you do not remind they will not provide you. It was mentioned today 150 gm curd free with 400 gm Nestle curd. The billing boy did not know and after checking the bags at home, we did not find the free curd bowl. The oofer was valid on purchase of ₹999/- whereas I made purchases of ₹ 1950/-. It should be computerised and the boys on purchase counter should get pop up while billing. Now who will go to pick up 150 gm curd they know it well and fooling the people. Same thing happened with the oofer buy 1 get 1 with herbal Tulsi green tea. The billing counter boy refused for the offer which was displayed on the shelf. After speaking to ten people it was confirmed and gave it. In this hoch poch missed pointing out the curd offer and they also skipped it. So shop carefully. They r not customer friendly

They have a lot of stuff which is hard to find elsewhere for example Gerber's puffs for babies but extremely overpriced and expect nothing at competitive prices. A kilo of boneless chicken at 500? They say some of their stuff is organic but I didn't see any certification on any of the products.
