Overhyped now, there is another outlet in the same lane near opposite Vikaspuri M block market, i forgot the name but that outlet has better taste than Monika cafe

The Chole Bhature experience here was a delightful surprise! The chole was rich and flavorful, hitting the right notes of spice. What stole the show, however, was the bhature – not your average ones. These were extraordinary bhatura with an enormous paneer filling that left me amazed.

According to the price the quality and services is not good. The owner is using abuse language to the employees in front of customers and every action has reaction so the employees transfer their furstration to the customer's. Earlier it was good

Bhature are small in size and i purchased 3 plates of Rs 300 /- and chole bhature are not the best in taste, so what will the body feel. Chole is given as normal bowl and neither have tissue paper nor plate size is also not right and One person has to eat in standing way whether it is summer or winter.
No Scotty parking. Important -> Very Expensive. Personally Suggest all not to visit here. On Down soon.

The owner and his son are very rude. They shout at their staff, delivery partners and at the customers, at times. They lack basic etiquettes and I would not recommend anyone to go their for a very unpleasant unhygienic experience.

Owner & his son’s behaviour is very rude not customer centric at all, staff was scratching his sweaty neck and using same hand to pack bhature by his bare hands when i saw i refused to take.also chole’s quantity for packing was very less and when you ask him to put more they charge extra money for that.even for a plate they charge money. Quality has been degraded now and bhature size is like small puri and he is selling it for ₹90 per plate will not visit the place now.you can easily get same taste at yours at less price.

Tried Monika Cafe 's chole bhature many times. Sorry to say but i did not find them delecious as people havee hyped it. Besides waiting time is too long, it sems neve ending. However I tried Ishwar's Chole Bhature (Paneer wale) a new shop opened in D block Vikaspuri, near Arya Samaj mandir. Their Chole Bhature are more better especially paneer Bhature. You will also not smell that soda smell which is evident in Monika Cafe's Chole. More over the time taken to prepare is just 5 to 8 min. Try it Guys.if you still feel Monika is better than keep wasting by standing in a never ending line.

I think this place is over rated by food bloggers, the taste of its chole bhature was so so. If i compare with other nearby chole bhature wala's, price is on higher side. Some other lowers options available next to this shop. This is what i feel.

Now this guy has become earning machine.very rude in answering and bathure gets over before time. May be he is giving to his special people and avoiding other customers. We have once provided special instructions and he bluntly refused during packing. Horrible customer service experience.

So looks like owners of this cafe are extremely happy with what they have achieved - so now they have actually increased the prices.earlier they did it on sly by reducing the size of Bhature. I also noticed that they have probably changed the recipe of bhature.its no longer that nice melt in mouth thing.

With the price increase, smaller portions and drop in quality, doesn't make sense to come back here. At almost similar prices I would rather enjoy it in OM Sweets on Jail road - atleast the place is more hygienic and comfortable.instead of standing on roadside in the sun.

Had started liking this place but he also has fallen into greed trap.
The size of bhatura has gone much smaller in the last 3-4 months. Thats dis honest way of increasing price

Overhyped shop selling average taste Chole Bhature. Many years ago they would sell good chole bhature, but now they are average and overpriced. Owner is ill mannered person. They manage to sell because there is no chole bhature shop in the vicinity. Also they cut large quantity of onion a day before in evening. Stale cut onions are bad for health, you may search the net. They don't change oil for many days which is bad for health.

Famous for Chhole Bhature but they need to work on their time for delivery. I spent two hours for 2 plates.

Best chole bhature in Vikaspuri. The crowd at the shop is a proof of it. Be there early to get your chole bhature as they tend to finish by afternoon. They have two varieties - plain and paneer. You can get them packed or have it at the shop.:)

A good place to eat a heavy north Indian breakfast if you are into Chole Bhature or Aloo Poori.

The chole bhature are really great and the price is also reasonable. But the place is too congested to stand and eat over there itself. Overall good value for money.

Monika Cafe a Chole Bhature shop in Vikaspuri serving tasty Chole Bhature since many years with same yummy taste. The shop is very popular amongst locals and during weekends it’s too crowded with long waiting time. Price for one plate Paneer Chole Bhature is around eighty rupees. Close to PVR complex and on the main Vikaspuri Road is a must try place.

Very poor quality choley Bhaturey. Average taste, having poor quality of ingredients including oil, choley and spices. Texture and presentation again very ordinary. Unhygenic plates used for serving. It is at par with Choley Bhaturey sold on road side or on weekly vegetable market. Disappointed with the quality.above all, pathetic Bhaturey.soaked in oil. Poor people from the vicinity definitely don't have quality option available. For them it is a cheap or Sasta jugad. One star is for the location. It is painful to rate low for over hyped tapri as cafe.

It's ok ok. Owner is quite rude. To people and to his staff. Talking with no respect. Instructing to his employees to take care of plates because someone can steal his plates. I thought quality should be marvelous but didn't find that much quality. Also quantity is not that much according to his price. So will give only 3 star.

Good taste but poor sarvice and extra 2rupees demand for paper plate. It's very bad also your price is too high.

If anyone wants to have an amazing plate of Chole Bhature then one should definitely try their Special Paneer Stuffed Bhatura. I really liked their Paneer Stuffed Bhatura. The chole also tasted good. Would surely visit this place again.

So this is one of the oldest restaurants in my locality.
And is one of the most reputed and famous outlet in vikas puri. Today i went there and tried paneer chole bhature and they were just the way i expected. Amazing taste, brilliant service, and of course, best quality.
So just give it a try.

Staying in Vikaspuri and not tried Monika Cafe, you have not tried anything. Delicious Chole Bhature. No match.

I have recently ordered 1 plate chilli potato and asked them to make it spicy but they made very bad.

They make very good Chole Bhatura. But eat at your risk, the store is their washroom. Highly unhygienic!

This place serves one of the most lit Chhole Bhature and is mostly lined up with locals craving for their turn of plateful stuffed Bhaturas served with Chhole, chutney, onions and achar.

It was nice. But I found it over priced. Price for paneer chole bathure is 80 bucks. And the place is quite small. Don't have enough space to eat. And it was over crowded.

Taken full prize, but handover cold bhature as well as chole. When complained after 10 minutes owner behaviour is very very rude and attitude also. Even put fault on us why we accept the cold bhature.

Place is known for their famous chole bhature. Tasty is good and service is fast but the place is small and there is no place to sit and dine.

Owner is an arrogant and grumpy idiot. Will be discourteous with the customers and even more discourteous/rude/abusive to his staff. Quite typical of Delhi I guess. Punjabis known for their aggression.

Best place in vikaspuri for chhole bhature. Very tasty and spicy. Paneer bhature are very good and soft. Along with chhole bhature they chutney and achaar.
