A very deserted place, only empty chairs and dust licking bundles of files u will find there. Most of the general public standing in queue u will find there is of those who seek disconnect ion or surrender requests applications. MTNL will become history in couple of years.
The office is plagued with incompetent employees. Especially the staff of room No. 1. Today was my fourth round in 5 days and bloody buggers could not finalise as to what documents they actually need. Pathetic services at their best. Hope they get privatised soon.
The staff at CBS centre near Metro Mall is very very cooperative. But the condition of Laxmiji Nagar MTNL office is very poor. Staff was not at their seats but were having sun light even well after lunch hours ie 2.30pm.
The accounts person is so rude. He never do his work properly and the timing is from morning 10 to 5 but he only work till 1pm and never give resolution and ask us to go to different departments even the work is related to him. I request MTNL to look into this.

It was a normal place with a few of employees. U can get Mtnl sim but u shud uave local address of delhi. Cost 141 rupees 15 mins local and 10 mins std validity 180 days
Worst experience.applying for the disconnection and getting a confirmation that connection got disconnected is most difficult task in MTNL office. First thing you submit all the instruments in their office located at one location. Then go to Engineer office at location 2 and get your application forwarded for location 3, who send you to location 4 to raise final bill, where you go 4-5 times as either staff is not available or computers are not working. Then when you get a chance and by God's grace and mercy you get a final bill of 7 to 10 days and go to location 5 to pay bill. Then go back to location 3 and she or he will take all original documents to accept the application for the disconnection but will not give any receiving.and then she or he will tell you.why don't you just leave, trust me your application got processed.
Its the worst public sector company, all employees are insensitive, uneducated, uncivilized, no information at all on its own product, all they do there was stand outside in sun, and chitchat on stupid subjects, don't even dare to think to complete his/her work in one visit there and without frustration. Mtnl is dommed to die bcoz of its employees.
