Food was good. Tried pork rib along with couple other things. It was cooked simply, but it was tender and tasty. The presentation as well as the service of the staff was nice.
It was my second time visiting this place, I really enjoyed eating their pad thai noodles, but the noodles had a little bit more sauya sauce than usual. Otherwise it was good. Tried kung pao this time as well. It was also good.
The chicken boiled bamboo shoot was so below average. Not even like how we ate Naga chicken in other Naga restaurants. And the fish gravy was so full of sugar, it was called a chef's special! LMAO it costed 700 plus which was way above what it deserves. The atmosphere was not good, too congested for God knows what (may be cuz they serve alchohol that's why their food is below average), the service: took over half n hour for our order to arrive. Expenses: Too costly for God knows what! Don't go there. It's a waste of money time and experience.
Worst experience and service of my life. We ordered 2 dishes and they took 40-50 min to prepare one dish and when we asked them about other dish, waiter told us that its not available and we can order another dish. Won’t recommend to anyone.
Food here is good, you've got to try the sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf. With the fish chutney, it's a must. But the service here is not very satisfying. Always return disappointed because of the service here.
The food was certainly very good. The beer is very very very overpriced though. The place is a bit expensive but seems worth it sir to the authentic taste it manages to deliver.
I've always liked this little restaurant, because of its atmosphere and interesting menu. But it seems overpriced to me: a couple of beers, a cocktail, one dish and one starter: 3,400 rs. The pork in bamboo wasn't as good as I've had elsewhere (too much fat and not enough meat). Nice restaurant but sadly I think their pricing is unreasonable.
I ordered smoked pork with axone and was shocked by the quantity of meat super less for 450 rs. Very disappointing it's not worth at all.honestly saying it's looting don't waste your money guys.
I’ve visited this place more than 7 times over a very short span - this place definitely is my top recommendation for the best place to have pork in Delhi. It’d be unfair for me to keep this review short. Hence, the following description for everything I’ve tried so far. 1) Pork Ribs - a must try for anyone who visits here. Best pork ribs in town. The Raja mirch sauce complements the preparation perfectly. Goes well with rice beer (they run outa stock for the rice beer sometimes) 2) Pork in Bamboo shoot gravy- the next best thing after the ribs. Goes really well with Naga sticky rice. However, the sticky rice comes in really small servings. Plain steamed rice goes equally well with the curry. For those who can handle the Raja mirch, there’s a fiery version of the curry available. I suggest you go for it at your risk. 3) Jumbo Prawns in yellow sauce - I’m not too sure of the name of this dish. It was listed on the special menu for the day and I couldn’t find it in the menu while writing this review. (I’ve posted a picture) Nothing too great about this. I would’ve liked it better if the prawns weren’t fried in a batter and simply sautéed or cooked with the yellow sauce. Mushrooms and veggies in the side very delicious. 4) Naga sticky rice: Served in tiny portions wrapped in banana leaves, this sticky brown rice is absolutely delicious. Goes really well with the spicy curries.
So my usually repeated order is rice beer, Pork ribs, Pork bamboo shoots gravy and steamed rice.
To sum it up: Food: 5/5 (8/5 for the pork) Service: 4/5 (the staff is courteous. However, they seem to back off when asked for recommendations.) Ambience: 5/5 (appropriately lit restaurant with ambient music. I’ve asked the staff to share their playlist with me. They still haven’t. Please do share it as a parting gift when I’m moving from Delhi)
Thanks for all the lovely food and memories, Nagaland Kitchen. Cheers!
I called and someone who picked up was asking extra charges just for the paytm he said they dont use paytm but to pay charge l extra 200 to use I dont understand why was he asking extra charges for money when he already said they dont use paytm. No other restaurants or shopd ask for extra paytm charge or any uber ola drivers. He was trying to fool us. Then I asked tell me thw total amount of the order I gave he said if y want to order or cancel it. Why in thw first place would he say they dont use paytm.and even if I use we must pay extra charges. Extra chrages are only taken when trnasfering from acc to acc. I order yesterday I dont know whats wrong with this people
For two person, Naga Thali they charge around Rs. 1000. The space was clean, staff well mannered, But serving time for lunch in thali only till 3pm. So if you're intend to be there to have lunch, timing need to be taken care of. They either serve chicken or pork alongwith Fish, dal, boil veggies and 3 chutnies. Overall, I have a good experience.
This place has good parking. It also has great ambience. The staff is friendly. Easy to find. The music collection is good. I like the country music as well. Takes me old days in the NE. The restaurant is a 30 seated. If you book all. Pricing is also great. They have a 10% service charge over and above the food.
Best place to visit for north east, Chinese and thai cuisine. Variety of dishes. Bring vegetarian, I had lots of veg options to choose too. A must visit place for foodies.
Go for pork ribs. I ve been here 4 times now. I ve tried pork ribs at 7 different places including mizo diner, flavors of north east, ina Delhi haat, tee Dee, others and one in Mumbai, all were not near this. Flavors of north east was Abit better than others. But this place is paradise. Other things too. We ve tried pomfret wok fried, squid, pork soup, dumplings. Everything was great. Squid was Abit disappointing.
The food is too good And for the northeast people it is one of the best place to find Northeast food. I love and I fill like visiting it again and again
Authentic Naga cuisine, and well located for access from any part of Delhi. The pork ribs are possibly the best thing you can get here. And if fermented soya and bamboo shoot is your scene, then look no further. Also try their range of chutneys including the fiery Naga mircha. The sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf pockets is also highly recommended.
Seriously guys being a northeast student, I expected more but the food you serve is like shiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt. If you guys don't believe it try from Zomato or swiggy. You will see it.fcker bhikàris deliver food as we paid the double amount
One of the best experiences i have ever. Delicious food, cooked in traditional style, served in a manner, that give you the feeling of being at Nagaland itself. Amazing ambience. I loved this place. I would love to visit this place again and again whenever I get time in future.
Great Naga food. Excellent pork ribs. Good selection of drinks. Have become a bit pricy and stingy with the dips and charge unnecessarily for chutney which you got for free earlier.petty tactics to charge the guests have become an irritant.the management should look into this issue
* Not My Taste Extremely bland * * Beer scam Alert * Location - 4/5 (Between every single Indian bank) Parking - 5/5 (Parking is around 20INR per hour and 100 for the day) Restaurant Visibility - 4/5 Entrance - 3/5 Staff - 4/5 Interior and ambience - 2/5 (Small and cozy but after few drinks it’s a nightmare) Stairs - 1/5 (Low ceiling and Stairs alert) Food Quality - 1/5 (There was chicken skin) Food Flavor - 1/5 (Extremely bland food Quantity - 4/5 Serving Time - 3/5 Value for money (Food) - 4/5 (If you are into that bland food) Value for money (Drinks) - 1/5 (Almost 350without tax for a pint)
- Two Extremely bland dishes with overpriced beer. - The dishes were recommended by the server. - Any beer under 300 listed on the menu is not available. - Ultra pint will be around 350-450INR.
Recommended for - Family and friends (Only if you are into bland food)
We just had a sweet dish here so can't say much about the main course. Though, I have heard their non veg is good. They serve authentic Naga food. The decor is very different and seems connected to the art form of the state.
An all time favourite place! Their bamboo shoot pork is my hot favorite especially with the bhoot jholakia pickle they serve. Their service is above par always and they make sure that their customers are looked after. A must go to place for pork lovers
