You love south Indian food? This is a must go place!
Flavourful food with quick service! And the food is always fresh. This restaurant has a temple theme which makes it more traditional. I would recommend this place.
Amazing food. Super authentic and super tasty. All right ambience and interiors. Very good service. Low pricing. Perfect place for having south Indian food.
I had an amazing experience. Their complementary buttermilk was amazing. Ordered Masala dosa, rava masala dosa, paneer masala dosa, mix veg uttapam. Food and service was good.
This place depicts full south indian cuisine and even waiters are dressed up in south indian dresses. If you want to dine-in in this place then better reserve a table before you arrive because people wait outside for approx 20-30min to get their table. All Food here is very tasty specially dosa which is one of the best in the area. Food here is of high quality & high price.
Food is priceworthy and much tasty but as an advice to others I would like to say that if you are planning to visit it on weekends then you should reach here early or else get reservation done.
One of the very few places in Delhi where you can enjoy authentic South Indian Cuisine.
Best items: Idli, Vada and Upma.
The rest of the items are a little above average. The chutneys and sambar prepared here are delicious. There is always a good amount of crowd here, so you might have to wait in line before they clear a table for you. The staff is friendly and very cooperative. Remember, that the best time to visit the restaurant is during the day. I personally felt that the quality of preparation falls a little by the end of day.
Worst experience, food was cold, and had to eat in dark and full of sweat as they had issues with electricity for around 30 min and more. Food was not upto the mark. So much rush i need to wait for 15-20 min in dark and eat in dark. Highly disappointed.
Naivedyam Patel Nagar is famous for Pure Fresh authentic South Indian flavours. It's an affordable, delicious and calm place to have your any day meal.
- They will provide the free of cost sessional welcome drink - Their Staff is courtious and Service is quick - Clean and Hygenic place to sit. - Comfortable chair and big tables, you can go along with your family and they will join the tables to accommodate. - They don't charge any extra service charge - You can ask for MEETHA PAN after your meal at a very nominal cost. - In peak hours, either you can reserve the table before going or you may need to wait until table is not available.
Must Try: Rava Masal Dosa, Chef Special Rava Masala Dosa and Fresh & Crispy Vada Sambhar
#southindianfood Variety of options & numbers of Dosas but the flavour which was use to be here earlier is slightly missing may be we have come with lots of expectations over the authentic food, but for hygiene and behavior at restaurant its @ 100%
The dosas are average. Another place that is uber famous but the reality ain't the same. I've had better dosas. I've been here for breakfast, and another time for dinner, both times dosas were not hot. Not even warm.
They serve sweet in Maharaja thali but I dont know what was that.when I asked someone told me it's made of Atta and other person told me it's made of Maida.
Food served here is just awsum, we ordered dahi idli, dahi vada, Maharaja Dosa, panner rava dosa and loved everthing. One should go if wish to had South Indian food.
One speciality that I loved about this restaurant is welcoming with rasam. Rasam is spicy digestive hot soup kind of drink. We visited this restaurant with family as ordered rava onion masala dosa, rava idli, sambhar vada, set uthapam. Every dish was delicious. Even sambhar and chutneys were also yummy. Though, we also wanted to order tamarind rice but unfortunately it wasn't available. If one love to eat South Indian food then must visit
Having an appetite for south india food, come over here nice food and restaurant usually a small waiting here but worth it as the food is nice. I won't say always but few times i have observed bit rudeness from the staff taking order but i guess since they are so busy the whole day one might tend loose some temper also those were the only times when i wasn't too sure about what to order and staff's behaviour makes sense to me as One must be sure what to order and what not to when the staff is there to take ur order.
Very tasty south Indian food. Their maharaja thali is a must hv but can be eaten by 2. Sambhar is excellent with authentic south indian taste. They have specials every day which are a must to try. Over all will rate 5/5. At times u hv to wait to get a seat.
Amazing food. No matter what they never compromise on their quality good. It was holi and there was so much waiting today. We waited for 45 minutes but it was worth it. Love the tasty south Indian today's fav recommendation - Paneer Uthappam
One of the best South Indian food restaurant around. The staff is courteous and food very tasty. And for the coffee lovers they have one of the most awesome filter coffee to offer.
Good food no doubt they should follow first come first serve instead of giving the table whomever is standing in front of managers Maharaja thali is not King size But test is satisfactory. Overall food is really good. Thank you
The ideal place to eat South Indian! It is also based on South Indian theme. Waiters are wearing shirts and lungis and there's sweet South Indian music playing in the background. They also give the food on banana leaves on the plates (classic!). The food tastes absolutely amazing. It's not that you eat with hands or something, the dining is a perfect mixture of western and Indian. I loved it! ️
The food tastes great. Prices are reasonable. Service is also very good. Nice ambience. Sometimes waiting time is there, else perfect place to spend time with family and friends.
Good place for feel the real south time and people culture with food and staff is good and helping nature as all are south indian working and handling it love the food and will sure come back
It was a pleasant experience. Didn't expect to see so many people there. It was very lively and with so many large families visiting the place. The kids, there were so many. The bearers were quick to serve the food we asked, helped us with the menu. And they were actually from the South unlike most South Indian restaurants in Delhi. Food was good. We had the thali which had all the tiffin items in one platter. I would definitely visit the place again. We had welcome butter milk as well.
Favorite South Indian place in delhi to go to with family Their ambience with the perfectly dressed waiters and the music makes it so special. Definitely a must visit for some lip smacking south indian with your family
Visited this restaurant in Aug-2019, one of the weekdays, late evening. The restaurant was full, luckily there was a seat available for a single guest. Food was excellent, presentation as well as taste. Dishes are served in generously sized metal plates, with a banana leaf. When most other restaurants nowadays are using plastic plates, banana leaf in a metallic plate is a great thing. Due to rush, I had a wait of 15 mts before order was taken. The welcome 'mattha' (buttermilk) drink, and the meals, were excellent. Ambience has low light, could have been a bit brighter; I had to use my mobile phone torch to read the menu (but then it could just be me and my ageing vision, did not notice anyone else having to do so). Staff is dressed in traditional attire. Prices are worth the quality of preparations. With so much rush, I was lucky to have been asked if I needed a refill of sambharr! Sweet paan at the end made it a well rounded dinner outing I hai needed so much after a stressful day.
I tried Mysore masala dosa, and my colleague ordered green lentil dosa (with upma as filling). We were extremely happy and satisfied with our food. They gave us yumm butter milk as a welcome drink. Isn't that awesome?
Service should be improved. The Gurgaon branch is much better in terms of service & also hot serving of food. Staff need to be exchanged to improve the performance
Just another South Indian Restaurant. Good place.ambience is good.clean.polite staff.fast delivery. Food was good nothing great. Go only if you must.:)
It is a pure South Indian restraunt with South Indian clothes and decorations on walls and waiters.you will enjoy there tasty South Indian food with a free lassi which is also very tasty.
The finest south indian restaurant in the entire Delhi. You get the perfect south indian vibe and the food is finger licking good. Trust me, you won't turn to any other south indian place after eating here. The prices are moderate as well.
Fully traditional South Indian restaurant located in East Patel Nagar, near Hotel Jaypee Siddhartha. ~Presentation of items are very nice. ~Nice and simple ambience. ~Taste of sambar is so so according to my taste otherwise good.
Traditional Indian food, specially the South Indian. Served with sanctity and courtesy. The issue however is the waiting time for a table to be allotted to you, during the peak hours.
