National Commission for Women

I've had a truly disappointing experience. I filed my complaint in November 2023, and to date, no action has been taken.

I've written emails and made calls, yet my complaint status remains pending despite several reminders to the counselor through both calls and emails. If organizations like these continue to provide such disappointments, where will women turn for their rights and justice. No use of this Commission.

NCW is filled with unskilled people, especially counsellors and psychologists.
Why i call them unskilled you ask? When the same case is presented and discussed with people who have 30 years of experience in private and govt.orgs (women police cell), the analysis, and hence, conclusion, is totally opposite to the analysis of the folks at NCW.

Every law enforcement organisation knows that NCW is ineffective. NCW remains in limelight due to their political agenda.

They won't really do anything till your issue is newsworthy, which practically means that everything bad that could have happened has already happened

Also the good ratings for this committee is not regarding the work of the committee

अगर किसी बुजुर्ग महिला जिसकी उम्र 88 साल है और एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन उसको 30 सालों से हरासमेंट कर रहा है तो जहां कंप्लेंट कर सकते हैं

The contact numbers mentioned are just not reachable how can a person and distress ever get help

Nobody can do something for you it's just you who need to survive with your own terms.

Worst service only for political agenda not proper guidance isse achha to na hi ho ye commission thats bcz of statutory body not constitutional

DID NOT RECIEVE CALL DURING DUTY HOURS.
DID NOTHING AGAINST PRISTITUTION IN DAMAN, SURAT, KADODARA, DANG. SHAME ON WASTING POWER AND MONEY OF GOVERNMENT.

How much appreciation one can recite in favour of NCW is less. They used to response as fast as Saturn chages its position in one's horoscope. Meanwhile a complainant lives or dies, it doesn't matter. I have just got the first and the last Written Reply from NCW yesterday only i.e. 24 Jan 2022 after 8 yrs 7 months of registering my complaint dt. June 2013, where I asked for urgent help & counselling against harrasment & mental torture by a Govt. Dept. Justice Delay means Justice Denied. In India, there is no Justice at all.

महोदय सविनय निवेदन है कि मेरा केस फाइल नंबर एक 21000 4967 2021 एनसीडब्ल्यू के जी बी आर एसपी शामली द्वारा भेजी गई रिपोर्ट के आधार सिविल मैटर बताकर क्लोज कर दिया गया जोगी बेबुनियाद है जिसमें बिल्कुल भी सच्चाई नहीं है मेरी समस्या से ध्यान भटका या गया जो कि न्याय प्रिय नहीं है मेरी मेन समस्या पर ध्यान ही नहीं दिया गया ना ही हमें तथ्य प्रस्तुत करने का मौका दिया गया जो कि पुलिस द्वारा की गई कार्यप्रणाली को एक पक्षीय दर्शाती है चौकी इंचार्ज गंगेरू समीक्षा के लिए जाते हैं जो रिश्वत की मांग करते हैं और विपक्षी गण द्वारा रिश्वत दिए जाने के बाद उन्हीं के हक में सारी बातें लिख दी जाती है जबकि सीईओ कैराना हमारे ऊपर हुए अत्याचार की पुष्टि कर चुके हैं सीईओ कैराना की रिपोर्ट को अनदेखा किया गया इसलिए महोदय मैं आपसे हाथ जोड़कर विनती करती हूं कि हमें न्याय दिलाने की कृपा करें जोकि अत्यंत अनिवार्य है प्रार्थी आशा देवी

सरकारी कार्य से नेशनल कमीशन फॉर वूमेन में आने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ था। यहां पर जो स्टार हेल्प डेस्क पर था ।उसने कार्य को करने के लिए काफी अच्छी मदद की नई इमारत जोकि काफी सुंदर लगती है।

I came here with my friend to register a complaint and everything was happened perfect ly. Security Guards, Receptionists and every other officials was quite fair towards their responsibilities.

Thats so disappointing after 1 year of filling application. That chief or our counsellor said we are unable to do anything. I am here for my sister case. The counsellor said we send reminder to SP of kanpur every month he is not responding go to court. In slow voice she said kanpur police is take money like this cases and delays a lot. And we unable to do anything. I just want to know why you wated my family 1 year every month we come to you you can tell us earlier this thing. So bad experience.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) is a statutory body of the Government of India, generally concerned with advising the government on all policy matters affecting women. It was established in January 1992 under the provisions of the Indian Constitution as defined in the 1990 National Commission for Women Act.

This body comprises of various cells like legal aid cell, northeast cell, complaint & investigation cell and many more. This body takes up action for women complaints against any kind of misconduct. They help in lodging FIR and also help in ADR.

National Commission for Women is a place dedicated to women. Any victim women can go their for help.

This place was a shelter for women who suffering problems with the society. The receptionist was very good.

This new building of ncw. Before coming here they were in near ito. Staff is very humble, building is very nice and people are very helpful here. Very neat and clean premises with discipline. They have 3 floor here. You find reception and other staff at entry.

I was invited by NCW for consultation meeting on The Sexual harassment of women (Prevention Prohibition and redressal) Act 2013. I was a good exposure for me

Very difficult to talk on phone I called about 50 times and got response only 4 to 5 times, no escalation option available if you did not get the response.

Very helpful, counsellors are also available at no fee charge as its a NGO and they’ll explain all the scenarios.
