The National Green Tribunal (NGT) is a statutory body that was established in 2010 by the National Green Tribunal Act. It was set up to handle cases and speed up the cases related to environmental issues. The Tribunal has a mandate to dispose of applications and petitions within a period of six months.

NGT, Your office located at central Delhi where there is no PARKING. I agree people should come from Auto Rikshaw or metro/buses, but they come by their personal vehicles and PARK Faridkot house lane ROAD, Why cant police charge them? That road is not for Parking, And why can you do some against for Street Hoggers? ITS CENTRAL DELHI VIP AREA how can you allow them to sell their products on the streets?

The reopening order given to Vedanta Sterlite Plant in Thoothukudi Tamilnadu by NGT, is not at all matching with the scope and vision of NGT.

Sadly NGT is a big Joke in India! Look at the destruction of our environment, NGT is a toothless body, people are willing to pay the fine of 5000 Rs or so and continue to pollute the Air and water. The Environment has never been a priority for any Government, our land and rivers continue to choke and die a slow death! Wake up NGT and Govt of India before its too late. Jai Hind!

I called up there more then20 times but every time a person picked up the phone and say hello and put it down.

National Greens Tribunal NGT has its principal bench over here. NGT looks after the Air, water and environment pollution and enforced so many norms in this regard. Be it cutting of trees, or pollution caused by construction industry, rain water harvesting, digging of bore wells in NCR where water levels had already gone down, cleanliness of rivers; the NGT has passed appropriate orders to curb pollution and to make the environment healthy and free from toxic products. It had issued directions to different state governments also.

Today, I have read on social media that NGT has questioned the cremation of Hindus and want the Concerned ministry to find out alternate method of cremation -If it is so, has the NGT gone crazy, why Hindus are made soft targets, all NGT judges and staff first declare on affidavits that they would not be cremated in open, I am surprised to see as to what has happened against Hindus only, yesterday Bombay HC has stayed bullock cart race saying it is torture for bulls, that means killings of goats and cows gives immense pleasure to the animals, oh my God, in the name of judiciary what they want to do-NGT must first take sue motto cognizance of effects of burial of dead bodies and mass scale killing of animals on Eid and decide these issues before proceeding against Hindus
