National Science Centre, Delhi

Was pleasantly surprised. Very good place to visit with kids. Takes about 3-hrs to visit the entire place.

Knowledgeable destination for Kids up to age 12. If you are visiting such Science Centre with your kids somewhere else in Delhi it will be highly costly just because of such facilities provided by private bodies. You should come and enjoy at National Science Centre in Delhi with your kids at very reasonable tickets rate. Although private sectors providing some extra features but they don't have space like National Science Centre. Up to 4 floor and basement. Every floor is saying something about Science, Wild life, Political movements of India and our ancient culture. Parking facilities is also available there.

This place is very good if you have never visited it you must go there.
But the ticket for fantasy ride too the ride is so good and overall museum is good this place for everyone family friends partner
And inside there is a cafeteria too but food prices was Little expensive

If you want to know the minute details from here, must visit around 10 am. Online tickets are not available for the shows so it's better to come early and have passes otherwise it'd be difficult to get later. The area is large and covers chemistry, physics, the ancient age, the human system, space, and much more. Students who want to explore themselves in the same field, kindly understand every detail and try to attend every show. It'd be helpful and informative for you. And early access to the tickets would also help adjust your show timings according to your day schedule. This museum will surely need your whole day so plan accordingly. I love it here. And if you are not from a science background, do accompany yourself with the person of a science background to know things better.

It's a good place to visit with kids, sad part is when we reached all the shows were house full so we only browsed through the museum. The pre historic part was nice but very dusty. Dust was flying every where, plz where masks

Managed by government. Maintained well and very good concepts for kids to learn. Try to visit in a little cold weather as the facility doesn't have centralized AC. Also, there is no option to buy tickets online, there may be a long queue.

The best place for science or even paleoanthropology enthusiasts. 5 floors, 5 different branches, everything is worthy. Just buy the entry ticket of ₹70 and don't buy any ticket for 3d show or movie or anything, all of that is for kids and not worthy at all. You can go with friends, family or even alone. You can play a lot of games there, quizzes to test your knowledge and also learn a lot. You can never get enough of it.

It was a good experience but as I expected, it wasn't like that most probably the museum part was closed & so much equipment was not working there.

Must watch shows - space on sphere, 7d show, fantasy ride.

It's a gud recreational place for kids n every one.specifically prehistorical gallery (dinosaur era).

Little brother is in class 6 and absolutely loved the Fantasy ride and went twice (worth the money).
The scripts and everything at the Centre is great. Recommend it to everyone. No matter the age group.
The entry fee is 60/- per person and the shows and rides are extra.
If you want to experience all of it the total will amount to 195/- per ticket.

National Science centre a Perfect place for Kids to visit. Neat To Pragati maidan Gate no. 5, Nearest Metro station Supreme court, Can visit by car also. Parking available there outside

Must visit place for All the children. Shows like Science of sphears, hollow dance Show, Science show, fantacy ride and 3D Show will help your children to understand about Earth, human body and scientific process in easy way with lot of fun

Lovely place But just visit in the morning there is too much crowd on sundays may be you miss amazing rides and shows have limited seats

For students (below 10'th grade) It's a good place to visit.
But if you are a science enthusiast, who knows basic scientific things then I think you should ignore.

But for children's; You can definitely go there.

It's a one of the best meusiam to watch in Delhi. Very informative for all age groups.
Small kids and students should go here.
Also there are couple of shows and ride are awesome. Entry ticket and show tickets are not expensive and worth full. Better to reach before 12 Noon specially on the weekends if you want to enjoy the shows. Post lunch time all show tickets are usually gets sold out.
Parking space is available inside the meusiam.

This place is awesome, one of a friend suggested this place and it was a fantastic trip.new addition of diano was great, science fiction, mechanism, thought process of mind, mirror maze many many activities are available, kids will enjoying this trip for sure.many shows also available, advanture ride, etc many things and games are there, to engage your mind and heart for me one of the bestest place in delhi.

Quite average being a National center (as not in a great shape). Good for one visit for young kids. Specific shows eere good.

Just wow. Please bring your child every year and each time he/she would learn something new.

Lift for elderly

The dinosaur world is on renovation we hope they will make it interesting as same as other's galleries, a lot have changed and restricted due to corona but still you can enjoy visual films with kids.

It's a fun place to visit, both for young as well as adults. There are many activities and shows to witness as well. All of them are really engaging and exciting!

As if 2021 october.things are old.most of the things dont work.and things are same as i went 4 years back, no change, but fpr basic knowledge it is good.ticket is also not too much. Ofcourse u will get some knowledge that is worth the ticket price

One of the best places in NCR to visit along with your kids. It's not limited to science museum but also has old civilization museum & have showcased Indian Vedic science in an efficient manner. Every kid will feel proud on various discoveries which were made by our ancestors.

Entry fee per person is Rs 60. Parking is also available within the premises, better to avoid Sundays to avoid rush. This place also has canteen on Ground Floor.

Very nice place for everyone to visit, Everything was good except management ACs not working and apart from that some of the machines are not working. Management must focus on cleanliness and proper marketing of this beautiful Science Center should be there. Increase the ticket price to 200 per person which includes all the shows and activities.

People should take care of the model's, please make sure that there should be an incharge to see any kind of damage done by illiterate one's.

The space capsule was very amazing. Overall everything is worth every penny spent though I won't recommend the cafeteria of that area.
The museum has the max amount of interactive stuff I have seen in any museum.

National science center Delhi.is located in Delhi near pragti maiden.it is a very beautiful and also knowledgeable place for kids.there are many more things which increases knowledge of students.

Good place for kids to learn and enjoy, kepe atleast 2/3 hours for inside, the car parking is also inside don't need to worry.

Best Place to enjoy with family, basically for children to gain knowledge from the museum in history of science. There are best show available in 3D.

Cafeteria sucks. Small rs5 glass lassi, they r selling it at Rs 40. Burger also sucks. Non hygienic. They should focus on Cafeteria.

I must suggest online ticketing should be arranged so that the crowd gathered minimum.

Place is so nice neat and clean. There is so much to learn in this place. Even the food price is according to students. Overall wonderful experience. Just want to mention one thing that some equipments are not working.

It is good to learn and how the development is going on and how far our science is reached. Had good experience there. And lot of things to learn there as well.

Take your kids to this lovely place. Best part about this museum is involvement, it doesn't have things behind the glass that you are forbidden to touch. It engages you like some game. It makes science fun to understand. Mirror illusion, hurdles, games, what not. You can touch everything and with the instruction board on the side you understand logic behind the fun stuff.
For movie and other shows there is seperate tickets. We got two extra shows and they were totally worth the price.
As a member of air force or nation security, you don't need to buy entry ️ they are free for you. Only for extra shows that is required.
Cafeteria is available which doesn't serve good food. So I would prefer for you to have only packet food.
There's also a small gift shop there which I recommend is a place to stay away with kids.
All over it is a Lovely indoor place in delhi taking the delhi heat into consideration.

The place has many interesting displays to offer but many of the things are not operational, The fantasy ride show is very good and must try. The show is so good that you feel like taking it multiple times. Cafeteria is very bad, don't visit it.

Awesome science centre for learning and for fun. Amazing infrastructure and structure of building

Located on the main Bhairon road near Pragati Maidan, this science museum was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, P V Narasimha Rao on 9 January 1992. The National Science Centre is a constituent part of the National Council of Science Museums, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture. Since its opening, the centre has been rendering phenomenal services for popularisation of science among people. Various educational programmes and interesting exhibitions are organised by the centre for the interest of the students, teachers and those who are interested in science. It also provides teacher training to support education at the school as well as college level.

National science center is a great place to hangout and have fun with science. There exhibits are fun but broken by people.

Lovely place to spend time with kids, family & friends. Alot of stuff from science available here to explore. You can spend easily 3-4 hours here trying new things. Some Sea creatures are also displayed here in real like fish Nemo. There is a ticket to enter and it's a multistorey building having different stuff on different levels.

Shows are good specially the fantasy ride. They should arrange guided tours of the place with kids in batches of four to five, while giving explanation about each experiment and covering the whole centre in a proper sequence.

National science center based on from history civilization to future reference.there are so many experience in this science you can watch your own future and generation of human diversity.

Itd a great airconditioned place to visit with kids, specially during hot summer days when there are limited other options, it's huge and lot of fun. They show a short 3D movie as well and charge Rs 50 extra for the same. There is a mirror maze where you can get lost and kids loved it. Fish aquariums are nice. Do take drinks and snacks along if you can or there is a small canteen for snacks

National Science Centre: An awesome place to visit and understand SCIENCE better, especially for school students as all knowledge can not be gathered from books!

I visited this place as a trip organised by school where it was very interesting to know more about SCIENCE and also the workshop conducted was very informative and enjoyed.

There is also a food cafeteria located inside the campus itself, but the food quality wasn't up to the mark rather it was average. Also items are sold over MRP.

The National Science Centre is the northern zonal headquarters of the National Council of Science Museums. The first Science Museum under this Council, the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum came up on 2 May 1959 at Calcutta.

Thereafter another Museum, the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum was opened in Bangalore in 1962. These Museums were inspired by the vision of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the first Chief Minister of West Bengal and was encouraged by pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who always had a soft corner for scientific temper.

Dr. Amalendu Bose, a young chemistry graduate at that time, was recruited by Dr. B. C. Roy to commission the first Museum at Calcutta. Thereafter several smaller centres came up, but for over two decades, there was a lull in the science museum movement in India.

I visited this place twice, Great things kids can learn and experience. All age groups can enjoy and play. Food is not good. You will need 3+ hours to complete it. Though there are several activities in which a person gets engaged and learns a lot. The children really enjoys 3D movie. Really good experience.

Such a lovely place, with so many fun activities for people of all ages, to learn in every possible way. The sections divided in separate levels, showing in depth details for all aspects of science related topics, from biology, chemistry, to ancient civilizations. All parents should take their kids every couple of years, to help them think and learn in a different manner.

Half of the machines are not in working condition. No guide no curator nothing. People come here for fun not for science.

This is very good Science museum to visit in Delhi. This is in central Delhi. Museum is very big. There are many old and new scientific thing. This museum is good for school going kids and teenage.
