With ever rising railway prices the railway station should be kept clean. There is always a foul smell present on all the platforms. Toilets are smelly and unhygienic. More staff should be deployed to keep the platforms clean at all times.

Delhi been a hub of tourism for the last so many years; and why not? Very few cities in Indian can match the Pink City for its sheer opulence and rich heritage. Located about 1515 kilometres from the Sanganer Airport,  88 kilometres from the Railway Station and a bus terminus within the city, its easy accessibility is the main factor in making it a much-favoured tourism centre. As any North Indian city, Jaipur sports extreme climate, the temperature goes up to 4545 degrees in peak summer and below 1010 degrees in winters. At the heart of the city, there is a sprawling garden called Ram Nivas Bagh. Albert Museum shines like a jewel right in the centre of the garden. Jaipur zoo and Aviary are situated in the garden itself, offering a delightful time for the children as well as adults.
The city is dotted with many tourist attractions. City Palace is the one to begin with, where the rich heritage of Rajasthan is displayed in all its glory. The royal apparels, the finest carpets, the ornaments, marble figurines and statues, the brightly lit royal chambers, thrones and well-planned garden, all give you a glimpse of the regal background of the city. Amber Palace, the old capital city is a sprawling structure made in sandstone, decorated with marbles and gems. The Sheesh Mahal in the palace in an enchanting sight.
Jaipur is famous for its Bandhej and Laharia work, block printing, precious stones, Meenakari work. The bright shops overflowing with such items including puppets and Blue Pottery prove irresistible to tourists.
While big, Seven and Five Star hotels like Rajvilas, Ramb Bagh Palaces, Sheraton and other ITC hotels for the elite, Rajasthan Tourism hotels offer comfort in a fair price.
People speak Hindi in general, though, Marwari is the local dialect. The bright turbans worn by the gents and ethnic lehengas sparkling with "gota" work worn by the women reflect the mood of the local people who are approachable, generous and friendly.
Daal Baati Churma, gaate ki sabji, red and white meat preparation give a taste of typical Rajasthani food.
All in all, if you are planning for a trip that can give you tradition and modernity on a platter, there is no better place than Jaipur.

Beware of thiefs and scammers. You could be scammed by ticket counter employees; food stall vendors can trick you; taxi and auto drivers also try to loot passengers. All of them has same goals, to make extra bucks unlawfully.

Note: Be vigilant of pickpockets, take care of your belongings. Police and Railways do nothing much to prevent all such activities.

It is not much developed railway station.and the wifi signal is also very poor here.but it will maintain good timings.

One of the best railway station in India. For the whole of India, you can take trains from here. All features are available on platform number one. Rest room is very good. All food and drink items are available on platform number one. All main places have automatic steps.

Railway junction face of northern India! A Huge station with 16 platforms, modern facilities (lift + escalator)! Ajmeri side and Paharganj side are the two face of the station (exit and entry points can be done from both sides). Neat and clean with proper railway services available

There are 16 platforms in NDLS. It is one of the major stations of the capital city. If you enter towards the Ajmer Gate then you would enter from platform no. 16. On the other hand if you enter from Pahadganj side you would enter from platform no. 1. This station is near the Connaught Place which is almost in the center of Delhi.
If you want to reach this station through metro then you should travel through yellow line of DMRC.

It's good managed now. Cleanliness is fine. Gate number 5 is open to enter for metro stn. Most of the train are operational now.

I visited this Railway Station after so many years.the railway station is improved so much.i see that people through their dust on the platform.we are responsible citizen of our nation.we should take care of that the railway station should be clean.at least we can do one thing to clean our New Delhi by thoroughing our plastic rapper and other kind of waste material to dustbin.

The platform is very dirty and crowded. There is not much waiting area. The waiting rooms are always overflowing with people and the chairs on the platform is not even enough for the average rush.

This Railway station is still better than other railway stations of Delhi NCR. Still more improvement is required in terms of accessible entrance, cleaness and security.

One of the best railway stations in Delhi. Good road just in front of entrance which make the ease of pick and drop for commutators. Located near chandani chowk the busiest market streets in Delhi. If you have a long waiting time for train no worries just roam around and experience one of the best street markets in India.

Has improved a lot in terms of cleanliness and escalators at various platforms. Beware of touts who sell fake tickets, try for Metro, prepaid taxi for commuting from the station. Other taxi and three wheelers charge heavily

NDLS holds a record for having the biggest route interlocking system in the world coupled with the Kanpur Central Railway Station. It is connected by the New Delhi station along the Yellow Line in Delhi Metro and is also served by the Delhi Airport Metro Express, along the Orange Line, connecting it directly to the Indira Gandhi International Airport and farther to the Blue Line.

Connects with most of the cities in India. This Station is very well connected by Delhi metro and DTC buses. Also it is close to cities heart Connaught place. Prepaid and Major online cabs are available here.

Now it's very neat & clean. AC waiting room is very good, I have spent 4 hr in waiting room and it was good experience. Canteen also serve good food.

Rlwy station of Indian capital city. Be vigilant. People from every status and states and foreigners. Never talk to strangers. Don't accept food from strangers. The trains runs slow between H Nizamudheen and Delhi.

Best railway station of India. 16 platforms. The overall quality needs to be improved, especially in waiting rooms and the type of food available. WiFi is available. Escalators have also been installed but a bit more modernized look and greater emphasis on cleaning would be appreciated.and very nice station. Love it

A benchmark for other railway stations to know how one should maintain its premises! Need more dormitories and retiring rooms as the demand of travellers is way more than you provide!

The station was very well managed. It is one of the busiest railway station in india. There are 16 platforms in the station. The station was very neat and clean. All the facilities are available in this station. There is foodcourt which is maintained by irctc. Metro station is nearby the railway station. Auto rickshaw is easily available here 24*7. Atmosphere is ok here. Overall the station is very good.

It's a very big platform but it shidme more neat and clean. And yes another thing please check the coach of your reservation n stand where it is coming or else it will be very difficult for you to get up in the train

Parking is very very unreasonable.and costly.parking staff are rude.also.at the entry there is always a jam no traffic management.bad considering it's a capital of India.

Clean platform. You can find the office of station superintendent here. The shops for food items can be found easily on this platform. At the extreme left end there is RPF station. Platform is covered from scorching sun rays.

A railway station is a very busy place. Yesterday I went to New Delhi Railway Station to receive my uncle. I went by bus. There was a great rush outside the railway station. Taxis, buses and scooters were parked outside.

There were people of all ages outside the ticket window. There were long queues. I bought a platform ticket and went inside. A large number of men, women and children were waiting for the train. Some were sitting on the benches.

There was an announcement. The train was late by one hour. It was difficult to pass the time. I went to the tea stall and had a cup of tea. Then I went to the bookstall. I bought a magazine.

Other people were also buying books and magazines. Then I took a round of the platform. The coolies were moving about carrying luggage on their head.

The train arrived. The passengers rushed to board the train. Many passengers came out of the compartment, I received my uncle. We went home by an auto-rickshaw.

This platform of new Delhi railway station seems less crowded with more facilities. Only standard trains like rajdhani shatabdi and some superfast trains are only given halting here. Additionally station exit through this is quite comfortable in terms of outside convenience

Good place to visit, all India location trains are available and it's a main junction in India.l Whether you want to go east and west or north and south of Bharat. Now cleaniless is utmost taken care of. Also specially in summer season many NGOs serve free food and water, juces to the passengers for the sake of belly fill mankind. Sardars of India are the Praiseworthy in such regards. Sachkhand Express platform can visited to have water and food in the afternoons.

More or less the platforms are clean, specially platform no. 1 of New delhi Railway station is so busy, because most Rajdhani trains are departed from this platform.

Indian Railways has come a long way.

I salute the Railway Staff for maintaining very high standards.

New Delhi Railway station have sixteen (16) platform in total so it became so difficult for everyone to travel from platform no. 1 to platform no. 16.cleaness is not good.

Facilities were also not good.
