Not saying that other cities in India have better metro stations, but any other city in India would have humble and helpful people when you are lost in the station. Firstly, I don't understand the stupid concept of the Airport express line. If someone is going to any other station that falls in the airport express line, the metro people end up giving you a different line ticket, where you need to change 100 other stations rather than giving you the airport line one. We lost 120rs per head because of the stupidity of these people. While we were lost, there was also a senior Australian citizen who encountered the same issue as us. He politely asked for help from a young metro employee, the employee was so annoyed that he literally shouted at him. Sorry to say, but no longer Delhi is Dil walo ka shahar that everyone talks so proudly about. Everyone here is always annoyed for some reason we don't know and behave as if the world revolves around them. Atleast, we as Indians coming from other states are still okay with this behaviour, but when someone visits from a different country, if this is the experience we give to them, not really sure what kind of a collective impression we are portraying. This was my first and definitely the last visit to Delhi!
Delhi Metro is very useful and more clean than I expected. I was running from my hotel but I was tired so I used metro for two stations. I experienced some catcalls by local men in the platform. When I got on the train, many passengers looked at me….
Delhi is good for me, it has Delhi metro station, air port, shopping centres, education, Hindu temples, forts and memorial sites and many more What can be said about it in Delhi, it cannot be described in words.
Very dirty station. However it should be first class being connected to airport line. Looks like DMRC forgot it's also part of DMRC. Don't know whether you have any cleaning staff for this station.
before luggage checking and scanning. Yellow line and Orange line passes from here. Yellow line connects to Rajiv Chowk and Chandni Chowk. Orange Line connects to IGI Airport
Station is large in size and navigations for different platforms are easy
New Delhi Railway Station is a very busy station. Dealing with so many people can be overwhelming. It is a common sight to see people sitting, sleeping and lying down in groups on the platform. A special thing observed was drinking water in the rest tube and checking the purity of the water. The retiring room here is in a deplorable condition. Its toilets are dirty. I have entered in red line delhi metro, this metro service sucks man! Yatra me vilabh hoga for 20 minutes? Again and again the metro is standing extra at every station. The service of red line is very poor, even no maintenance, no good Air conditioning. 45 minutes se jada hogyye hai yeh metro technical problem ki wajh se khadi hai. Rip metro

Food counter available. Lounge area available both AC and non AC. Cleanliness is good. Public transport and related facilities easily available.
Excellently located metro station to interchange between the airport and the railway station. Alert as on 21 January: Gate No. 4 for getting into the metro station is closed. Only entrance is from Gate No. 5. There's a big queue and a waiting time of 30-40 minutes for getting inside. See my video. Please be careful about the time. All the best!
Beautiful station clean place and platform, well maintained Ajmeri gate (2) is best and tricolor theme painting and lighting enhances it's beauty to many fold. 16 platform with all facility present. Be safe and happy journey ️
Airport express line is a life saviour if you have to travel to Airport and New delhi railway station. Dwarka people gets an advantage but since it is also connected to yellow and blue line, it can definitely help you in preventing the traffic and saving the time.
AirPort express is a orange metro line. Connect school Delhi to Indira Gandhi international airport this is one of the best line I have ever seen in all over in India. I am leaving this review on 3 basesfirst the seeds are very comfortable as compared to other metro lines. Second the frequency of train is also very good.third the ticket is little much expensive as compared to other metro lines in Delhi. But it totally justifies there fare. As their stations are all is well maintained and there metro give few little much luxury experience.
The best airport line Delhi metro ever has. Fares are also very reasonable. And it will take around half an hour to reach airport from new Delhi metro station and vice-versa.
This is the best way to reach all the airport terminals Within 30 minutes. Rushers.better choose this metro. Wonderful maintaining metro. Clean and safe
Airport Express line is my choice because of 4 main reasons.
1. This line is world class and infrastructure on this line is truly at par with world. 2. The stations are very spacious and beautiful. The crowd is also not that much. 3. The frequency of the trains are also improved. 4. The tickets are also very affordable and Pocket friendly.
It used to be expensive when it was being operated by Reliance. It is affordable now and the fastest commute from New Delhi to Airport. Very well maintained and at par with international standards! Hats off Delhi Metro!
This is a gem and pride of not only Delhi but whole India. Come what may, I prefer to travel by Airport express when going to any terminal if IGI airport. I don't see any flaw in this metro train.
It's mind blowing, nice public transport, originates from New Delhi, covering shivaji stadium, daulakooan, aerocity, terminal one, airport and dwarka sec 21.
4 months ago when we visited India to attend my sisters marriage function in Kanpur.on our way back we experienced the Indian Metro. We were every excited by what we saw which was far from what the movies have shown the Indian railways to be. Things like this should be encouraged and shown to the world. This was my second metro experience apart from Singapore and both were much in par with each other in terms of efficiency and quality.
This is the airport line metro which is operational between New Delhi to Dwarka Sector 21 connecting IGI (International) and Domestic airports both. This is the best metro line in Delhi Metro having higher fares than other metro lines.
The name itself suggest free from traffics across the city. Excellent transportation saving time and exhaustion. For newbies to the capital take the airport express, never go for taxi which is located just Infront of the airport, they always cheats of your money (if you give a Rs 500 note they will change it into a 100 in a friction of a second and say u gave only 100 and you have to pay double again). This taxi counters cheats weary travelers daily especially when they know you are not from around Delhi. If you still want to travel by taxi's make sure you take your cell phone and record the money in your hand before paying the fare, incase you need it for providing a prove.
Very good interiors, cool air conditioning and ofcourse makes you feel special. Helps reducing the carbon print and a nice mode of public transport. Reaches you quickly too at a very low cost. We need to keep it clean and encourage its use as our social responsibility.
Please calculate your fare and check if the right amount has been returned to you as officials on the counter of this metro station are expert with duping and overcharging customers. If you point it out there and then, you get your money otherwise they simply keep what they can and invade income tax on such black money. Not only this, it is recommended to practice the same at every metro station or every person who sells you something. I am posting this after hearing multiple such instances from knowns.
Time taken in travelling is very less as compared to taxi and buses and fares are also cheaper. The direct connectivity of the airport metro station from airport makes it awesome. T3 metro station is world class.
Delhi Metro Yellow Line (North Delhi to Gurugram) and Airport Express Line (to T3 International Airport) meet here.

Airport express is one of its kind in metro services. It starts at 4.45am in the morning to 11.30pm in the night, the frequency depends on the time of the day. Starting from sector 21 it goes through terminal 3 of the IGL international airport, aerocity, Dhaula kuan, shivaji terminal to New Delhi railway station thus connecting the airport to the railway station in 25 minutes significantly cutting down the travelling time and cost. World class coaches and terminals. Excellent seating, cleanliness and world class amenities. One of the finest transport option in the city.
One of the largest crowded junction in india.low price jan Ahar foods available.information facilities are nice.too much security.platform conditions are good.
Really great station in terms of connectivity. You can catch Airport metro as well from here. During peak hours and holidays time great rush and station remains fully packed. Neat, clean and really secure premises. Staff is helpful and cooperative. Parking could be a problem and you can not wait just outside station. Lots of ATMs and restaurants are there nearby. Overall good place.
This Metro station is very near to the New Delhi Railway station. Yellow line metro is passing from here. *⃣ Orange line also passes from here which also passes through the IGI Airport. Orange line route is from New Delhi to Dwarka sec-21. There are platform gates available on this Metro station. From New Delhi Railway station, you have to go to Metro Station via Gate. And from Metro station to Railway station via Gate (nearest). Overall, this Metro station is at a perfect place for ease with Railway station.
It is the best metro station with modernised quality infrastructure, reasonable fairs, time saving routes, digital displays, cleanliness, cooperative and trained staff. It is outside Ajmeri Gate of New Delhi railway station, walkable distance.
The best metro station in India. It is very big & you'll feel that you are in a airport the ambience & facilities are too good. It's adjoining to New Delhi Railway Station. You will get metros for all over Delhi from here. You will also get metro direct to Delhi Airport from here.
Best public transport mode from Terminal 3 and 2 to New Delhi railway station. In between there are 5-6 stations. You can book your ticket on ‘Ridlr App’ to avoid lines on counter. From T2, metro station is on 5min walking.
A convenient mode of travel from town to the airport No traffic jams. If the baggage can be checked in its a added advantage. Minus point walk from the station to the terminal. Sign boards at the new Delhi station to locate the ticketing and check-in counters.and boarding the train
